Chapter Three: A Proper Introduction to The Fairy Tail Guild
-X- Current Debt: -15,000,000
Percy sighed as he swirled the sasparilla around his half empty bottle, he was seated at one of the many long tables in the guild hall of Fairy Tail back in Magnolia Town, the trio had made it home without any other issues. Macao had rushed his way through the crowded streets of Magnolia Town as soon as they hit the city leaving Percy and Cana to follow. When the only two members had reached the castle like structure that was their guild hall they saw the blue haired mage and his son Romeo already hugging in a teary reunion that the son of Poseidon to this very minute will swear he didn't shed a single tear. It wasn't soon after that did the father and son combo had left to do all sorts of fun father and son things that both Percy and his partner Cana had missed out on as children, but not before the sly blue-haired fox had left a present behind for Team Cana.
35,000 jewels had been left behind in Macao's wake, and now Percy and his alcohol loving companion were seated on either side of it staring at it.
Speaking of Macao, it bugged Percy just how little last night's conversation had changed how the blue haired mage and his partner Cana had interacted at all. The entire walk back the pair had been laughing and chatting it up like the events of last night didn't occur at all. He was also a little miffed because the son of Poseidon had to carried every piece equipment from not only his and Cana's expedition, but also all of Macao's gear as well as the plenty of sweets and treats that the family who had housed them last night had stuffed into every open pocket. The entire trip for the black haired demigod was spent stuck in the back third wheeling like some sort of pack mule.
It didn't get much better for Percy after the blue fire mage had left either, Percy didn't exactly have the same mental strength, for lack of a better term, as Macao that let him put it all behind him like nothing even happened. He had a hard time looking at Cana without second guessing every word that passed his lips to make sure he wasn't giving away something he shouldn't know and letting her catch on to him or Macao prematurely. It seemed ridiculous that such a thing would change their relationship just like that but how in the name of Hades was he not gonna let this slip on accident. Or worse, get pissed at Clarisse 2.0 and not say too much and drop this metaphorical bomb that weighed constantly on his mind.
A loud snapping noise abruptly brought the black haired demigod back to the present. He blinked his sea green eyes owlishly to find Cana's long, slender fingers in front of his face.
"Jeez." She said, making sure Makarov wasn't in sight before covertly taking a sip of beer that Percy had purchased for her with his own money. "What's wrong with you? I've been talking for like five minutes just to find you off in la la land."
"Nothing's wrong, I was just thinking... That's a lot of money." The son of Poseidon said, clearly he thought of jewels in the same sense of U.S. dollars.
Absentmindedly he sipped his Root Beer, savoring the taste of home that it brought to him. His mind had tuned back into its surroundings and he was surprised at how loud it was. The whole ground floor just felt like one large high school cafeteria. Guild members bouncing around table to table, eating, laughing, and in general having a good time just like how Percy would in that half an hour reprieve he would get in the middle of the eternal hell the U.S. government liked to call school.
"No." Cana corrected, knowing its true worth but eyeing the money greedily nonetheless. "But it's enough." She was the first to move since the bag had been dropped in front of them, opening the burlap sack and taking out some notes, she began to take charge. To Percy, they never really felt like a true team just yet, so its was weird to sit back and let her take charge, especially with his background, but he let the brown eyed mage speak. "Here's what we are going to do, first I'll divy it up evenly, I get 18,000 and you get 17,000, after that I'm going to find a bar-"
Now, mathematician Percy was not, in fact, Archimedes would get a headache trying to teach the son of Poseidon anything more complicated than the bare minimum his high school back on Earth had required. Regardless of that, the black haired demigod was smart enough to know two things.
If you split something in half, you have two equal numbers
17,000 is not equal to 18,000
With all that being said, Percy leaned forward, cutting the greedy, alcohol loving mage off."Woah, woah, woah. Why do you get a thousand more than me." He asked, looking at her skeptically.
Cana's large brown eyes narrowed unnaturally so at being cut off, but she still managed to talk in a short, clipped tone that left no room for argument. "I am the leader of this team am I not, so obviously I get a little extra in royalties because of my position due to kickbacks for various reasons. After all I coordinate the group, choose what missions we go on, put up with your sorry ass all the time. It's things like that that earn me that extra 1,000, understand?" The whole time she was talking, she was continuing to filter the money 'evenly' without breaking eye contact.
The black haired demigod wasn't buying it, not for a second or in a million years. "So pretend I buy that for even a millisecond, how are you going to the bar if Fairy Tail has cut you off, remember? That's kind of the whole reason this team was even formed in the first place."
"Well." Cana smirked, standing up and pocketing the dough. "Fairy Tail has cut me off because of my debt, but not any of the other bars have around Magnolia Town, so I am going to drink myself silly until the last jewel somewhere else, I'm sure there are plenty of places that will take my hard earned money." With that said she began to move to the door
"Hard earned my ass." Percy mumbled under his breath as the brown haired mage walked by him.
"Did you say something?" Cana asked in a sickly sweet tone, pausing her walk and staring at the demigod with those large brown eyes.
Percy turned to her from his seat on the bench. The son of Poseidon might have been playing with fire, but then again he had made an unfortunate habit of pissing people off. However, for the foreseeable future at least, he was stuck with the brown eyed, alcoholic loving mage, so biting back any smart ass remark he could have made, he tried to diffuse the tension he had just inevertantly created. "How are you going to pay off your debt if you spend all your money?"
Cana gave a light scoff and completely ignored the black haired demigod, making her way towards the door once again. Without looking back she called out. "That's what your share of the money is for."
Percy could hear the grin in her voice even when her back was turned to him. He couldn't help but let a small smile on his face at the sheer ridiculousness of it all. To be completely honest, he wasn't even sure if that smug, happy tone was because she was joking, or because she actually believed that he was going to cover her enormous debt. Either way, one thing was for certain.
No matter how generous he was feeling before, she wasn't getting a penny now.
The black haired demigod sighed as he swung his legs around the bench and back under the table. His sea green eyes were fixed once again on the stacks of bills, this time, neatly stacked just as Cana had left them behind. He picked up a wad of cash and flipped through it with his thumb.
"17,000 huh?" Percy said to no one in particular. The son of Poseidon did a quick glance at his surroundings, no one seemed to be paying him any attention. Quietly, he placed the stack back on the table and snatched up the burlap sack Macao had delivered the money instead. Holding the open mouth to the lip of the table in one fell swoop all the bills had been pushed over the edge and back into where it came from. Pulling the strings tight the son of Poseidon stood up and slung the back over his shoulder. The black haired demigod didn't get a step closer to the door however before it burst open, revealing quite literally his only two friends in the entire world. Natsu stood in the doorway triumphantly, covered in soot and grime but with a big grin on his face, off to the side was Lucy, the celestial mage looking like death warmed over and in desperate need of a nap.
"WE'RE BACK!" Natsu, the pink haired dragon slayer roared, stopping the entire guild hall with just two words as everyone turned to him.
There was a moment of silence before a chorus of monotone "Hey." had rung throughout the main floor, the dull sound pouring out into the street causing some curious passersbys to glance inside.
From the back of the hall, someone Percy recognized, but couldn't remember spoke. He had spiky black hair, dark blue eyes, and for some reason, he didn't have a shirt on. Which gave full view to the Fairy Tail insignia on his right pec. He spoke at a calm and at a regular tone, but it had enough carrying behind it that every person in the guild could hear it.
"Heard you and the new girl destroyed the entire mansion trying to save it from being robbed, nice going flame-brain."
'Right.' The son of Poseidon thought to himself. After the whole guild had pulled the whole 'Everyone takes a step back is him taking a step forward act on him.' Natsu and Lucy had bounded off to Everlue Mansion, leaving him with Cana, and all her… Cana(ness). And if spiky hair back there was correct they ended up destroying it, which shouldn't be odd to Percy considering he witnessed and took part in first handedly the destruction of over half the port in Hargeon Town but still, was this how the entire guild operated? Obviously they took responsibility for their actions because he overheard Makarov and Natsu talking about how he was going to have to pay for the repairs made on the coastal town but to cause that much damage in the first place with no regard whatsoever was a little unsettling to the black haired demigod.
…
…
…
But then again. The St. Louis arch, the Smithsonian National Space Museum and many others had been plundered by Percy and his friends alone, nevermind the rest of the demigod race over the course of history, so was he really one to talk?
A wave of scorching heat caressed the side of his face and brought him out of his thoughts as Natsu had let out a gout of fire from his mouth, it had got spiky hair off guard as he hastily through up a shield of solid ice from the palm of his hand. Unfortunately it wasn't enough for when the ice met fire it resulted in an explosion that sent him flying into one of the tables chalked full of people, when spiky black hair landed the occupants of the long wooden benches didn't even flinch. In fact a white haired guy who was so tall that he towered over his guildmates even when sitting looked down at his crushed plate of food from underneath spiky haired's ass.
"Elfman, listen." The spiky haired kid pleaded for the big guy to hear him out, trying to scramble away but not escaping the giant hand which shot out like a jet and anchored on to the kid's collar. The beast of a man stood up to his full height, first off, the guy was like 8'20", he was huge, and not to mention totally ripped too, enough to give Arnold Schwarzenegger. He had stark white hair up in spikes and a scar running through his right eye. The giant hurled the ice mage back in the direction of Natsu who promptly ducked, causing the spiky haired kid to crash into another table and piss off a new hoard of people.
THONK
The sound of bone hitting bone brought Percy's attention back towards Natsu in the center of the room, his see green eyes had darted around just in time to see a rogue turkey leg collide with the side of the fire dragon slayer's head and the son of Poseidon couldn't help but sweatdrop as he swore he heard an echo. Whatever was happening right now was escalating at a rapid pace.
As Chaos descended upon the room magically enhanced fistfights broke out across the guild hall. Percy decided quickly whatever this hectic sort of guild family time bonding that was going on right now but he wanted no part of it. Before he could take a step in the direction of the door his instincts flared the hairs on the back of his neck to him something was sailing towards him and fast and so he ducked, crouching almost fast enough to duck under a flying chair, getting clipped by one of the legs as it soared over head, the force causing him to face plant.
For a second there the son of Poseidon lay there, unmoving, as the world went quiet around him and he laid flat on the ground, trying to process what just happened. After a long moment he put his hands under him, and tried to push himself up, only to fall back down as someone who was stepping back had tripped over his prone body, sending them sprawling onto their ass and the black haired demigod back to kissing the floor.
For the first time ever since arriving on Earthland, Percy Jackson actually felt genuine rage. The son of Poseidon was a pretty easy going guy, insults he could shrug off like nobody's business, but figuratively and literally being walked was the proverbial last straw for the demigod, that's where he would draw the line.
This time, when the black haired demigod tried to get up, he didn't take no for an answer, someone had backed into him again as if trying to repeat the process that had enraged him in the first place but this time Percy had stopped him in time and roughly shoved the guy back from where he came.
Finally standing up, Percy spun to his left, where the victim of his tripping should have laid. Instead he found the giant from before on one knee, a not so serious glare as the son of Poseidon. "Watch where you're laying newbie, someone's gonna get hurt."
Mr. Tall and Tan didn't seem to be taking Percy too seriously at the moment, but all that was going to change. As far as the black haired demigod was concerned the big guy was nothing more than a bully to his guildmates, he had tossed the ice guy around like yesterday's trash, and with the son of Poseidon being fresh meat in Fairy Tail, he figured it would only be a matter of time before he was picked on next.
Luckily Percy was feeling just a little proactive today.
"Get up." Percy growled as he put his hands up.
The giant looked at the son of Poseidon with disbelief for a second, before rising to his full height of 6'8". "I appreciate your manly attitude, but are you sure you can back it up?" He asked.
Percy responded in the only way he knew how. He attacked, rushing forward and sliding underneath the big man's guard before he even had time to blink and delivered a punch to his gut.
Stupid Natsu and Lucy tricking him and leaving him with Cana.
Elfman doubled over, no doubt surprised by the force of the attack, that was just what Percy wanted as the son of Poseidon gave him a nice uppercut now that the face was within reach.
Stupid Cana being so annoying all the dam time.
The giant stumbled back a few steps, and the black haired demigod pressed him, stepping on one of his opponent's feet and giving him a hard shove to the floor where he landed headfirst with a loud crack.
Heh, dam.
The son of Poseidon straddled the giant, and tried to swing at the big man's face, but Elfman, even dizzied from the fall, had enough sense and been in enough fights to know to lock Percy's arms up when he was on his back like this. So the black haired demigod picked up a knee and dropped it into his stomach, applying as much pressure as he could.
Stupid Macao piling all his problems on Percy.
It got the desired effect as the giant let his arms go and Percy wasted no time in cracking him one against the jaw, blood flying out of his mouth.
Stupid Jason stealing his girlfriend.
Elfman wasn't nearly as dazed as he should have been, as he took this beating like a champ and initiated his counter-attack, returning the favor and punching the newbie with a mean right hook.
Stupid fates giving him such a rotten freaking life and leaving him in this world.
There the two were, trading blows in a world all their own as the entire guild tuned out from around them. It's not that anyone had stopped to watch the spectacle, but if they had they might have seen one of the bloodiest inter guild bar fights in Fairy Tail history. No, these two had just become lost in each other's eyes, and a whole lot of blood.

It wasn't until the barmaid he had met before, Mirajane her name was, had pulled him off of the giant guy that he had realized that everyone had stopped their own fights guildhouse wide just to watch him and Elfman go at it. The son of Poseidon groaned into his ice pack, he had probably just caused the single most bloody inter guild bar fight in the history of Fairy Tail. Really not his brightest move, and a really poor display of self-control as he lost it over what would be generally considered an accident.
He couldn't help it though, all the unfortunate luck that was pushed down and repressed since coming here had boiled over in just one incident and probably labeled him as a monster.
Percy was angry, and for as long as he would remain on Earthland, alone. And that loneliness was something that had both scared him and pissed him off to no end. Didn't he deserve to catch a break too every once in a while?
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Mira that hurts!" A high-pitched voice unbefitting the guy he had just gone ten rounds with complained as the barmaid attempted to stitch up her brother Elfman's cheek. Both the son of Poseidon and the middle Strauss sibling were in the infirmary, both resting casually on the foot of their beds while Mirajane Strauss fussed over them incessantly.
Yeah, you heard it hear first folks. One of the few people who was actually nice to him since joining the Fairy Tail guild, and he had gone and tried to beat the shit out of her brother the very next day. Way to freaking go Percy, you're on the fast track to being the most hated guy in the building.
What else is new?
The son of Poseidon looked at the brother and sister duo for a long moment before speaking up. "Listen, uhhh Elfman. I'm sorry about the fight man. I just…" Percy struggled to come up with a real excuse for a moment before giving up, there was nothing he could say that would excuse what he did. "I'm really sorry."
There was a long moment of silence as both of the Strauss siblings stared at him, and Percy stared back. The only thing running through his mind was the fact that both Elfman and Mirajane had the same colored eyes. They both had a greyish blue color, like trying to look at steel through a pool of water. But where Mirajane's were doe-like and very large, Elfman's were small and beady, the irises hugging the pupils so tight that they were nearly invisible but put him side by side with his sister and you could tell they were there.
It was a few long seconds until Elfman's grin broke out in an ear to ear smile. "Are you kidding me? That was aweso-"
Whatever he was going to say was cut off by Mirajane as she so kindly placed her elbow in her little brother's gut. His very tender and injured gut all thanks to Percy.
She gave a sickly sweet smile to the black haired demigod, her lips turning so far upwards her eyes were nearly shut. It was the kind of look he had seen his mother Sally Jackson with many times, and it instantly put him on edge.
"Ignore him." The barmaid continued to smile. "He doesn't know what he's saying"
The son of Poseidon nodded mutely, his sea green eyes training on his adversary from not maybe half an hour ago. Percy had the feeling that he had got the big guy all wrong before calling him a bully and all, and that was just his rage talking. Even with a broken nose, a bleeding skull from when Percy had toppled him over, and the large gouge left behind on his cheek where you could before indeed see teeth, he still sported that brilliant smile.
The black haired demigod wasn't faring much better though, in his defense. He had a swollen cheek to which he was trying to grind the ice pack into as if the increased pressure would speed up the healing, a split upper lip and a nasty shiner for his left eye in one of the many times the male take over mage had socked him in the face in retaliation to Percy's own.
"So…" Percy shrugged, not really sure where to go from here on out. "Thanks for the help Mirajane." He said at last as he hopped off the foot of the infirmary bed he was resting on, making his way towards the bathroom where maybe some running water would speed up the healing process a bit.
"Sure, just don't forget the 18,500 jewels." The barmaid commented, stopping the son of Poseidon in his tracks.
"Excuse me?" Percy asked as he turned, his sea green eyes muddled with confusion. Mirajane's eyes had a strange sense of seriousness masking uncontrollable laughter and a little teasing at his reaction. The son of Poseidon had the feeling that if he was to stay at this guild for the long haul, he would get used to seeing that expression directed at him a lot. Maybe it was something to do with his face, maybe it was his easy-going attitude but Percy had been the butt of more than one practical joke.
Mostly courtesy of the Stoll brothers.
The barmaid began to count on her fingers. "The chair you broke, two rolls of gauze, a pack of stitches, an ice pack, and the hour worth of pay its gonna take to patch you all up totals to 18,500 jewels."
The black haired demigod's jaw dropped and the world seemed to shatter around him. It suddenly occurred to him that maybe not dollars and jewels would be the same, and just as suddenly the conversation he had had with Cana not two hours ago came to mind, and made a hell of a lot more sense.
"Nothing's wrong, I was just thinking... That's a lot of money." The son of Poseidon said, clearly he thought of jewels in the same sense of U.S. dollars.
"No." Cana corrected, knowing its true worth but eyeing the money greedily nonetheless. "But it's enough."
"I've been shortchanged." Percy grumbled, all that stuff Mirajane had listed off couldn't have been more than 200 dollars on Earth, so either they were hot commodities on Earthland, or the more likely option is that he was going to get paid dirt for just about every job he was going to do in hopefully his short time here in Fairy Tail until he found a way back.
The son of Poseidon held out the burlap sack of 17,000 with almost sad eyes. "It's not enough." He admitted. "But hopefully I can pay you back somehow."
When Mirajane's steel blue eyes went wide with surprise for just a fraction of a second, and Percy felt like he might have been getting played, but before he could pull it back the bag of minute wealth was ripped from his grasp. The barmaid dug her fingers in and yanked it open, forcing the strings to comply as the oldest Strauss sibling looked inside. After a tense moment of silence Mirajane looked up with a grin on her face.
"I'm sure we can make up the other 1,000 or so somehow."

Percy, now face fully healed thanks to his dive into the infirmary sink, was fully healed. Now, the black haired demigod was up to his elbows in suds. Which made sense, seeing as he was the newest dishwasher for the Fairy Tail guild for the night. The dinner rush had just settled down, meaning dirty plates galore filled his view as he tried to keep up with the onslaught of filthy porcelain platters.
Back at Camp Half-Blood, when Tyson hadn't come to visit, Percy was the sole representation for the children of Poseidon. So needless to say more than one time Cabin Three, and by proxy just himself, had to help the Harpies clean off the dishes after meals at camp. Only there it was with burning lava that required magically enhanced gloves, here it was just water.
Just. Water.
Percy faced palmed, his soapy hand slapping suds into his own face and his messy black hair.
The son of Poseidon, which apparently he was one of those, dropped the sponge back into the deep sink, where it would be forever lost into the sea of soap, and pried off the cheap latex gloves. With an almost maniacal smile considering he was cleaning dishes, Percy began to unstack the massive piles of plates and set them aside one by one in neat columns and rows. It took a long time, and almost the entire kitchen space but he had managed to utilize every inch of countertop.
The black haired demigod stood in the middle of the large kitchen, facing the sink, he raised his arm and the water complied without issue. Then in one smooth motion he spun on the balls of his feet in a full 360, the water following his arm as it rotated with him. Like a tidal wave the soapy water surged over all the plates in the room, cleaning them all faster than any camp harpy ever could.
Now he just had to put them all away.
It wasn't fifteen minutes later when Percy walked out of the kitchen and behind the bar, a confident smile on his face. At the same time he did so, he noticed his partner Cana, from across the room being escorted into the entrance by a police officer.
Hold up. Was she in handcuffs?
No one else seemed to notice, and if they did they didn't pay it any extra thought, but Percy was not them. Very distractedly the son of Poseidon stalked over to Mirajane, who was wiping down the bar with a rag, it wasn't empty, and according to most it never really was, but the eldest Strauss sibling had no issue picking her way around beer steins and elbows. The black haired demigod tapped the barmaid on the shoulder, now Makarov was talking to the officer, while Cana basically hung swaying by the firm grip of the chains to her cuffs.
"I cleaned all the plates." Percy said as he continued to stare, now the guild leader was rolling his eyes, and forking over a large wad of cash to the officer, who in return unlocked Cana's cuffs and gave her a firm shove into the depths of the Fairy Tail guild.
"Oh really?" Mirajane asked, and while Percy wasn't looking directly at her, his mind conjured up an image once again striking very close to how his mother would react. Her hands were on her hips while the rag dangled loosely from her fingers and her lips were pursed as she looked at him in disbelief.
"Mhm." The black haired demigod nodded.
If she said anything else Percy didn't hear her, instead he watched as his partner stumbled through the rows of long tables and equally long benches before finally collapsing at a random one. He felt the eldest Strauss sibling brush by her and the son of Poseidon took that as his cue to leave as he hopped over the bar and made his way over to the smashed wizardess.
When the barmaid stepped inside the kitchen, needless to say she was surprised. The kitchen looked so clean you could eat off the floor for Magic's sake! She opened up a cabinet at random and pulled out a plate with the same method of choice. Mirajane rubbed her finger along it. She could see her reflection.
Spotless.
Just to be sure, she checked a couple more plates in the cabinet.
Spotless.
Just to be doubly sure, she picked a different cabinet, these were glasses. Not a smudge was present, not even from when the glasses were put in the cabinet after cleaning.
Spotless.
"Huh." Mira said, as her shoulders raised and lowered with the word. How the hell had that new guy done it, cleaned every plate better than anyone else and in less time too! The barmaid stepped back through the two hinge door and congratulated the son of Poseidon. "You know, if you keep this up, I might have to make that your permanent posit… Where'd he go?"
A couple of guys sitting at the bar threw their thumbs over their shoulders. The barmaid noticed that one of them had a shoe print on their burger for some reason. Across the way, sitting at a table by themselves was a very drunk Cana and the newest member of the Fairy Tail guild talking together in hushed tones. Mirajane chuckled as she watched the two talk, leaning her elbows on the counter as she did so. After a long moment she asked. "Does anyone know what kind of magic he uses?"
The eldest Strauss sibling didn't get a response.
Cana picked her head up out of her arms when she heard someone sit down at the table. Seeing only the newbie the wizardess groaned and let her head slam back down which, considering the size of her current headache, was not a good idea.
As she laid there, constant drumming pounded into her head, and this time it wasn't a result of the extreme binge drinking she had just engaged herself in. Picking her head up once more, the Magic Card user snapped. "Will you please just stop tapping something for like five seconds!"
The newbie had the audacity to look guilty and Cana sighed in relief as the drumming stopped. She placed her head back in her hands. "What do you want?"
She had messed up, overdrank her 18,000 jewel budget by 4,000 in one afternoon and had to get bailed out of jail by Makarov which was an extra something or other, she was too focused on not throwing up while the cop and guild leader were talking just moments ago to pay attention on how much she really went for now adays.
The son of Poseidon shrugged, brushing off the verbal lashing like yesterday's news. "Nothing, just wanted to see what happened."
Cana took a deep breath to maintain her composure, and then released it. "We're going to need to take a job tomorrow." Which really sucked, because no matter how much she was hurting now, tomorrow would probably be worse.
"Got it." The newbie said in understanding as she heard him stand up and walk away, to what Cana would presume to be the request board.
You know, maybe he wasn't all that bad. A functioning part, or maybe malfunctioning part of her brain told her. He didn't ask questions, wasn't lacking in a fight, didn't take any of her unfavorable mannerisms to heart and knew how to overall go with the flow. She heard his footsteps return and the wizardess banished all positive thoughts of the newbie.
"Yeah, uhh, I can't read anything that's on the board."
Okay, he was kidding right? This was a joke on his part? She picked up her head to look at the newbie's face, her large, doe-like eyes narrowing impossibly small as she glared at his deadly serious face.
"You serious?" Cana asked.
The newbie nodded.
Rather than waste time debating just how serious he really was, she got up stumbling as she did so when her balance apparently left her to take a quick bathroom break. Steadying herself, she made her way to the request board, on her way there she passed by Wakaba Mine, who would never be known as anything more to her than some buck-tooth loser passed by her going the opposite way.
"Hey Cana, you don't look so good."
"Fuck off." The wizardess replied as she shambled on by
Arriving at the request board, she picked her head up enough so she could read the posters. There was 'Find a magic bracelet.' 'Read someone's horoscope!' or 'Fight a demonic volcano monster that terrorizing the village.' to name a few but the Magic Card user was more interested in the numbers. Blindly picking the priciest one she could find, Cana turned and looked back to her table only to find the newbie not there waiting for her.
"Probably passed his bedtime." She snorted as she crumpled the flyer in her hand made her way to the Fairy Tail dorms to help sleep some of this off for the night.

Five Minutes Ago
"Wait a second." Lucy asked, as they closed the doors to the Fairy Tail guild. Two heads turned towards her as she lagged behind. A pair of brown eyes, one artificial and one very real and although Lucy had read enough about Fairy Tail's Titania to know this was the case she couldn't tell which was which and a pair of dark blue ones from the Ice Make User's stared at her.
Natsu's unconscious head rolled in the crook of Erza's elbow.
She pushed her index fingers together. "It's just, I have this friend who came to Fairy Tail with me and I've left him alone ever since we've joined. Is there any way he can come with us?"
The Re-Equip mage tapped an armored finger to her chin, and then looked to Gray for judgement. The Ice Make User shrugged, and had somehow already lost his shirt. "He's pretty strong, I think I saw him fight Elfman earlier today and come out relatively okay."
Erza nodded. "Fine." And pushed back open the doors to the guild. "Where is he?"
Lucy's brown eyes scanned the crowd of people. "There!" She pointed to him, the black shirt with equally dark hair that sat on the table with his legs on the bench and his forearms resting on his knees, his back was to them.
"Very well." The scarlet mage said as she made her way through the guild, dragging the pink haired mage along with her and over any obstacle that got in her path.
When Erza reached him, Lucy expected her to either explain the situation or deliver him to herself where she could for Fairy Tail's Titania.
This is not what happened.
The son of Poseidon was instead choked from behind as Erza yanked on the back of his collar so he flew straight of the back of the table. She then grabbed his head by a handful of raven locks and smashed his face against her plate armor. To Percy's credit however, he managed to stay conscious just long enough for the scarlet mage to decide to repeat the process.
Now that her first friend since hitting the road and leaving her home for good was about as responsive as Natsu was right now, he got the same treatment as the Fire Dragon Slayer. Buried under the crook of her arm and dragged across the guild's floor back to the entrance.
"Let's go." The titania said as she lead the... Two? Four? Back outside.
Lucy buried her face in her hands. "I'm so sorry Percy!" She cried.
How many people can claim a three month improvement on update speed huh?
