The Gun Pointed at the Head of the World
I thought in space I would be safe,
Beyond the reach of toxic air.
Above a planet lost to us,
Lost to war, death and despair.
...
But then a 'thud,' followed by fire,
Embraced within the womb of space.
See a barren world within the dark,
Broken homeworld of the human race.
...
The air, it leaves my lungs with haste,
Within minutes, my own life.
A spinning body in the dark,
In sea of eternal night.
