Left behind

I see him every day now laughing and saying jokes. We were best friends in my opinion as close as brothers until we were seventeen and he met Usagi and the girls that's when the separation started. At first, there where small things missing time together, despairing without a trace and keeping secrets.

Now as I see him with them, I realize we weren't brothers or even best friends he had a family with the girls and he had brothers, four to be exacted. They appeared one day and took the place of best friends and brothers to him easier that I took the place of a friend. The four that took my friend from me.

Kunzite is the oldest one the leader, the one that always thinks about the other before himself. He is a combination of a father and brother to all of them but especially Mamoru with whom he has the biggest age difference. He is the one who listens to Mamoru's problems and helps him with his careful and wise advice. More importantly, he helps Mamoru become more self-confident.

The man always has a look on his face that could make people mistake him for an emotionless person but he is overprotective and kind to all of them, he is the oldest and everyone seems to follow his lead without questions, his place is that of a leader and fearless general.

Nephrite is the big brother protective and bossy of all of them, a great friend and he tells things he never told me he is the one that seems to know everything and the one that has the answers to any question Mamoru has.

He is the emotional one, the physically strong one. He is sort of the bodyguard always ready to put himself in harm's ways to protect them and always ready to start a brawl with anyone who dares enjoy Mamoru even in the slightest. I feel sorry for any of them.

Next is Jadeite he is the funny older brother the one that let him go and do something reckless but he is still there for him to catch him if he falls, Jadeite is also the peacekeeper and has the patience of a saint and the temper of the devil himself.

He was also the listener and the confidant. The one Mamoru likes to talk because he knows he would never judge him but only listen.

Jadeite is the perfect listener he understands people's problems and is emphatic but he does not judge neither tries to give advice. He just listens and makes people at ease so Mamoru can talk to him about everything even the most absurd ones, feeling Jadeite understands him with no purpose of solving them but helping him to cope with his problems and finally find his own solution to those problems.

Jadeite doesn't give solutions but helps people to find their own solutions by allowing them to take without than answering people's question the questions people.

The last but not least is Zoisite he is clever, smart, and the strategic one. He is more mature than some other people even if he is younger than them. He is the one who teaches Mamoru any sort of tricks (sometimes even dirty ones through he would always deny it) I order to solve problems and to get the younger man out of troubles. Though he is the youngest out of four of them he still acts like a responsible older brother to Mamoru but sometimes acts like a spoiled brat to amuse Mamoru. He is the one always with his head on books, he is the one Mamoru can make a very intellectual talk everything he says it seems like he is planning a war for his king perfectly planed.

Seeing him like that a realized they never took him away from me he was always their friend, their brother, and their prince.

I'm left behind to make room for the old friends, the friends that were always a shadow in our friendship.
