Control
I OWN NOTHING!
"How do you nearly burn down the kitchen? Have you done this before in your father's shop?" Tigress asked.
"Oooohh many times," Po said, remembering all of the false alarms and fires. "I'm just very accident prone." Tigress sighed as they traveled down the mountain of the Jade Palace. Po had just nearly burned down the kitchen cooking something... experimental.
"What were you even trying to make?"
"Liquidless tea!" Po said excitedly. Tigress slapped her own head and sighed. "But I forgot that the leaves would just burn."
"You really need to make better decisions. And have more control over your limbs. You're very clumsy sometimes."
"Hey, I'm not that clumsy," Po argued. Just as he said that he tripped over his own two feet and tumbled down the rest of the stairs.
"Of course," Tigress sighed as she ran after him. Po finally bounced down to the bottom of the stairs.
"OW!" Po exclaimed, rubbing his sore head.
"You were saying?" Tigress smiled a little.
"Well, not all of us are a graceful feline," Po muttered as they walked to the shop. Tigress's eyebrow rose.
"You think me as graceful?" She plainly asked.
"Well duh!" Po exclaimed, "You're able to punch through a brick wall while balancing on a ball. Not that many people can do that."
"It takes practice and control," Tigress answered.
"Hmm," Po simply muttered back as they got some of the food from Mr. Ping's shop. "Answer me this, Tigress. Why are you so hung up on control all the time?"
"Explain?"
"You know, you always talk about control like no one's business. Control in posture, control in fighting, even control in emotions. Why are you so concerned about it," Po asked. Tigress sighed.
"You know about my past right?" Po nodded. "Then you'll know that control for me was always a challenge. To be perfectly honest, I'm not as in control as you think. I still have a temper-"
"That's obvious," Po muttered. Tigress growled lowly. "Bbbb but continue." Po stuttered.
"I still can't do all the stuff you're able to do as Dragon Warrior and my strength sometimes gets away from me," Tigress explained.
"And travels to me somehow," Po complained. Tigress gave a small smile.
"I can't help that when you and I are sparring Po. I aim to win," She replied.
"Fair enough," Po said as he sipped his juice.
"Po, what do you mean by control of emotions?" Tigress asked. Po stopped sipping his juice.
"What do you mean?"
"Because you make it sound like I don't have any of them," Tigress said.
"What?! No, I didn't mean... What I meant to say was... Tigress, you're pretty... hard to read when it comes to emotions. I never said you didn't have any of them. It's just... hard to figure out if you're okay or not," Po sighed. Tigress simply stayed quiet as they finished eating. They traveled back up to the Jade Palace when Tigress suddenly hugged Po. "Okay... this is completely random."
"Po, I know that you care about me. I'm sorry I'm not as visible with my emotions as most people," Tigress replied. Po smiled as he hugged back.
"It's alright, Tigress. I know that you don't try to be confusing. I just wish I could be in control of my feelings," Po sighed. Tigress looked at him with a confused face as she released him. "Well, you're always thinking clearly and stuff while I... burn down kitchens. Plus, it would be nice not to fall victim to any more crushes," he sighed, rubbing his arm.
"You crush easily?"
"Very," Po sighed. "And it's worse when I'm the Dragon Warrior." Tigress smiled as she rested her hand on his shoulder.
"I'm sure the right one will come around, Po," Tigress promised.
"You think?"
"I know she will," Tigress smiled. Suddenly, they looked up to see the kitchen area of the barracks in ashes.
"POO!" Shouted Shifu.
"Granted you learn not to burn things down," Tigress sighed. Po chuckled.
