Everything was a blur after I hit the ground, I knew I was already defeated by these three villains.

I saw three blurry silhouettes approach me, and I know that these were the victors in the skirmish I just had. In a last ditch effort, I activated my Sharingan with the last of my chakra reserves and cast an illusion against these villains.

An illusion using my bloodline is far more convincing than using one without its assistance.

I just hope the illusion of me being dead fooled them.

Everyone stopped once the mysterious but quick-witted boy was on the ground, unconscious. The three villains cautiously approached him.

"Is he dead?" Came Cruella's question.

"Maybe so." The Evil Queen answered. "While he's not bleeding, he's also not breathing if we judge his chest."

"On contrary." Jafar spoke up. "You merely knocked him out." It's probably tied to his earlier abilities and made himself appear dead.

"Interesting." The fallen queen hummed.

"What do we do with him now?" Cruella inquired once more as she knelt beside the unconscious shinobi. "We'll be out of this place once we retrieve our Talismans." She stated. "Wasn't that the reason you explained on why we can't use your genie powers out of this place."

"Yes." Jafar nodded. "Frankly, I don't see the point in killing him anymore." He admitted. "It'd just be wasted effort, and he'll likely die of starvation.

"Not if he's free." The evil queen immediately interjected. "He'd just chase us and we'd lose our chance of getting away from this horrid island."

"I suppose you have a point." Jafar nodded.

The evil genie waved his make-shift scepter and soon tendrils began sprouting from the side of the cave and hoisted the young boy who chased them. Soon the boy was shackled with the same material as the cave's wall, spread-eagled and upright, at the side the cave.

I regained consciousness to what I assumed was a few moments after I was knocked out. I'm not actually sure as to how much time has passed since I lost consciousness.

I was strangely upright. I tried to move my limbs and discovered I was immobilized.

Restrained.

I quickly opened my eyes only to see that I was indeed shackled to the side of the cave, upright and spread-eagled. The restraints themselves were part of the cave itself and it made escaping all the more difficult.

Not to mention I was low on chakra.

I tried wiggling my limbs in an attempt to escape, but it seemed impossible with the circumstances I was in.

Somehow the cave was rather cold and drafty. I looked down only to find my shirt and pants torn. The only piece of fabric left on my person were the pant-legs that had fallen to my restrained ankles. Thankfully my undergarments were relatively untouched apart from the creases and small tear I managed to find despite being restrained.

A few paces away from me were the metals I used as storage seals and store my extra clothes and what's left of my rations. They were beside the roots of the trees that the Evil Queen had conjured with Jafar's help.

From the looks of things, the villains I fought were trying to loot something off of me. I bet they were disappointed that all they found were pieces of junk.

I really hope nothing unsavory happened to me while I was unconscious and restrained, considering my state of undress.

Soon everything turned black as I was lulled back to unconsciousness.

"Aieee!" A shriek woke me up from my slumber.

"Carlos calm down!" Another voice screamed. "He's still breathing." The male voice continued.

"Mal if you would please?" A female voice this time.

"Creatures small and little." Another female voice began. "Make these restraints brittle."

I can't help but think that these voices were oddly familiar. It wasn't the villains who have defeated me and left me alone, that's for sure. The voices I was hearing wasn't Yen Sid, or anyone at the anti-hero club either.

I was not able to ponder it more as I found myself suddenly falling down. I was immediately on all fours out of instinct and watched my surroundings in an attempt or reorient myself.

Before me were Carlos, Jay, Mal and Evie.

"Carlos?" I managed to croak out. "What are you guys doing here?" I questioned.

"Professor Yen Sid sent us." Evie helpfully answered. "He said that our parents were missing and he feared the worst." She explained as Jay helped me on my feet while Carlos helped me regain my balance.

"He seemed pretty worried that the person he sent after their parents has yet to come back." Mal supplied. "Are you the person Professor Yen Sid tasked to chase after their parents?" She inquired as she looked at me with glowing eyes.

"Yeah." I answered. "Yen Sid was worried that your parents would escape to Auradon and wreak havoc." I continued. "Not that I did anything substantial." I sighed.

"I take it they were responsible for your condition earlier?" Jay asked.

"Bound and in a state of undress?" Evie continued the inquiry.

"Do you guys have an extra set of clothes?" I asked the foursome. "And Yes." I confirmed their suspicions.

While I am still capable of unsealing and sealing things even with the charka I have recovered since I was unconscious, I know that I can't risk it. I may need what little chakra I have in my system to defend these children and at least get them out of here.

Ever since waking up the first time, I felt that there was something that both Yen Sid and I weren't privy to.

"Wait." Carlos suddenly voices out. "It was you?!" He pointed right at me.

"Uh… C?" Evie questioned. "What did Fairy Godmother say about pointing?"

"I know it's rude." Carlos stated. "But I know him?!" He exclaimed.

"You know him?" Mal asked. "Never even seen the guy before, and Maleficent is my mother." She continued. "Heck I knew of Shrimpy's existence, even Shere Kahn's Cubs and Iago's chicks." She added. "Heck I'm even familiar with Tick Tock's and Kaa's hatchlings."

I think Mal's implying that she knew everyone in the isle due to her mother's influence.

That line of thinking has some kind of merit, but I don't think that is the case.

"I was even surprised that the Professor sent someone after your parents." Mal continued her spiel. "Considering how much of an influence and power they have in the isle."

"Yeah." Carlos nodded. "You were the person who kept patching me up after my mother or anyone in the isle would go far." He stated as he pointed at me. "You even deposited me 'there' after one of my mother's episodes."

The other three children stared at me with wide eyes. They certainly did not expect that someone had been looking out for them in the isle even before the mainland gave them a chance.

"You haven't aged." Carlos suddenly commented. "You also have shorter hair." He added.

"You changed a lot since Auradon Carlos." I offered the youngest boy a smile. "You've actually gained some weight since you left for Auradon." I continued.

"I wouldn't have made it this far if you hadn't saved me from my mother Shisui." Carlos responded with a smile of his own.

"We can catch up later." Mal suddenly declared. "We need to get moving, we have yet to encounter your parents." She beckoned everyone to walk forward.

"You need to leave immediately." I protested as the boys were immediately by my side. "Your parents could already have what they're looking for."

"Oh you mean this?" Carlos showed me a ring on his palm. "The ring of envy." He identified. "One of the talismans that Yen Sid told us about."

"You got your mother's talisman." A commented. "What about the others."

"We got theirs' too." Mal answered as the others showed me their parents' respective talismans on their hands."

"We really should go." Mal repeated her declaration. "Your parents might be nearby."

Everyone nodded as the two boys were immediately by my side and put my arms over their shoulders and helped me walk with them.

"Do any of you have extra clothes on hand?" I asked the four children with me, again.

They only shook their heads apologetically as Evie whispered something to Mal.

"Can I even use magic here?" Mal asked her friend.

"Yeah, Jafar and the others were able to use magic here." I confirmed.

"Damn dude." Jay smirked." And you survived an encounter with our parents." He recalled." That's hardcore." He praised me.

I think.

"And you just used magic a bunch of times earlier." Carlos reminded.

"Well then." Mal straightened her posture. "Threads and Needles, come together." She began as her hands glowed purplish-green. "Manly clothing for this stranger, over." She exclaimed with a flick of a wrist.

As soon as the spell was cast, two elongated rocks shrunk to the size of needles and began unthreading what clothing I have left on my person.

Thankfully the spell left my undergarments alone.

The rock-turned-needles then combined those threads together and form a pair of short pant, that's a bit skimpy for my tastes. The pants' legs don't even reach the middle of my thighs.

"Yeah…" Evie trailed off. "It's a bit…" She paused as she tried to find some words to describe the clothing in question. "Unprotected."

Unprotected is a major understatement, but it does get the point across.

"Fine" Mal rolled her eyes at her friends' statement. "Ghouls and Goblins in Sin." She began to chant another spell as her hands glowed the same purplish-green color from earlier. "Overall clothes for this man with a spin." She declared as she drew a circle with her hands.

Suddenly, I began to float and spin without my expressed permission as glowing greens encased me in some sort of tornado.

As soon as I stopped spinning and dropped to the ground, arms outstretched as they landed the boys' shoulders while recovering from the dizzy spell that I was inevitably put through, no thanks to the magic spell cast. I noticed that the skimpy shorts that Mal's magic had created from earlier has extended and covered my entire body.

A second later, the clothing article that was modified simply fell down and exposed my undergarments once more.

"Yeah, 'nother dud Mal." Jay snickered.

"Gotta agree." Carlos snorted. "Are you really Maleficent's daughter?"

"Oh shut up." Mal rolled her eyes. "I don't see you boys lending your clothes to him."

"Now everyone." Evie chastised her companions. "Is that any way to treat your friends?" She asked. "Fairy Godmother won't approve of your behavior."

"And Guilt Tripping us is something she'll approve of?" Carlos fired back.

"Touché."

As the four of them bantered with each other, I saw Mal flip through the pages of a book she's got on her hand.

"I think this'll work." Mal announced. "Beware, Forswear." She began to cast her third spell and her hands glowed once more. "Decent clothes this man shall wear." She exclaimed.

A ball of light, in purplish-green, shot out of Mal's pointing finger as soon as she flicked her wrist and went towards me. The purple-green ball landed on the ridiculously oversized pants that were by my ankles and glowed as a result.

Suddenly, the glow began to blind us.

A few moments later, the glow dimmed gradually until such a time that the only thing glowing were my new clothes.

As soon as the glow faded, I was wearing an open vest that exposed my torso, a pair of black pants and the shinobi sandals I wore when I first embarked on this mission.

"Sick emblem!" Jay exclaimed. "Got to admit that this isn't something I've seen." He continued. "Did you create this Mal along with the clothes?" He inquired.

"Could you describe what you see?" I asked the boy.

"Its just a simple design really." Jay answered. "The entire design looks like a fan with a curved cut at the middle." He described. "Above the cut is colored red and below it is white." He added. "It's simple yet sick." He finished with a compliment.

Jay essentially described my clan's insignia.

The Uchiwa Fan.

I have two theories on how that appeared there through Mal's magic. One is that the spell is more attuned to the receiver than its spell caster.

The other is that, Mal somehow knew of this symbol and emblazoned it on the back of the vest I'm wearing.

"Huh? I just wanted to give him decent clothes." Mal responded. "I never thought of any design when casting the spell."

"You mean to tell me, it's the magic that's styling Jane's and Lonnie's hairs?" Evie questioned.

"Yeah." Mal nodded. "The magic somehow knows what style looks cool or best for them." She added. "I just don't question it." She shrugged.

"I call bull." Jay exclaimed.

"Well, I have the faintest idea on what would look cool or good for them." She admitted." But the magic, the spell, executes it and adds the recipient's personal preferences." She finished.

"Now that's a believable theory." Carlos voiced out.

"Let's keep moving, your parents are still in this cavern somewhere." Mal motioned for her friends to move.

Jay and Carlos simply nodded as the boys helped me move forward while Evie was at the rear looking out from behind.

These kids would make fine shinobi had they been born in my home world.
