Danny was in his room with ten books sprawled out on his bed and five more on his table.

Ever since he became a teen again clockwork said he had a lot to catch up on with his studies on everything.

He was dozing off trying to stay awake until he heard a knock at the door.

"Who could be up at this hour?" He looked at his clock and saw it was 2 in the morning.

He yawned and walked to the door and saw Artemis standing there with two mugs.

"How's the studies?" She asked with a small smile, he smiled back, he needed some company.

"Been better, come in," he opened the door more and she walked in and handed him some hot chocolate.

"Thanks," he sat back on his bed and sipped it.

"So why are you awake?" He asked her as she sat on the bed as well.

"I wanted to see if you were okay? You seemed stressed," she said gently looking at the books.

"Little bit, just really bored too," he rubbed his face.

"So what are these about even?" Artemis looked at the books confused again.

"Time medallions, the history of the ghost king pariah dark, types of cores for a ghost, all on ghost stuff, clockwork wants me to become the next time master after him," Danny groaned and Artemis put her hand over his.

"You'll get through it, you'll be a badass time master, I mean a halfa that's the rarest ghost, one with one of the most powerful attacks the ghost zones ever seen, you'll be a great time master," Artemis comforted and Danny smiled at her again.

"Ya seems great but just the part I don't like is how I'll become one, I'll only become a time master when clockwork is murdered," Danny sighed.

Artemis didn't know what to say, she didn't know what she'd do if she lost her mentor.

She moved a few books and bookmarked some of them and Danny looked at her confused but she pulled him down as she laid against the wall.

He gave in and laid on top of her using her lower stomach and lap as a pillow and wrapped his arms around her waist and she ran her hands through his hair.

"You need to relax a little," she said softly and Danny closed his eyes to relax more as Artemis gently continued to play with his hair.

"I'm so lucky to have you," Danny mumbled leaning into her touch.

Artemis smiled and blushed, no one ever told her that.

"Your like a kitten," she giggled.

"So you be been told," he hummed.

"Her some sleep ghost boy," she kissed his head and he mumbled something but she couldn't understand him.

Soon he was asleep and Artemis dozed into sleep as well.
