Bailey was starting to see Destiny in a different light. She is beautiful, he always thought that but she's always came out as looking as a best friend from childhood. They have been getting along with that in mind. Bailey's heart has been going a new direction recently. He has been starting to have feelings for Destiny in a relationship sense. He doesn't know if Destiny has the same feelings. He is in a daze when he hears Destiny calling out to him, Dory and Destiny were talking for a bit by themselves. He didn't know what they were talking about but her calling out his name has drawn him out of his thinking process.

"Sorry what was that?" asks Bailey.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go out," says Destiny.

"Oh yeah we can go out, Dory coming again?" asks Bailey.

"No not like that…." says Destiny, blushing.

"Huh?"

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go out on a date with me."

"R-really?!"

He stares at her in shock, he didn't expect that.

"It's cool if you don't want to…"

"No! No that isn't it, I just didn't expect it."

"So is that a yes?"

She was very confused at that, she just wanted to pull the bandaid off so to speak. She has been having the same feelings he has had, but she didn't know how to address it. That is why she wanted to talk to Dory about it. Dory is actually the one that advised her to make the first move knowing how Bailey can be. The worst thing Bailey could do was say no, but right now she doesn't know if he is going to say yes or not.

"Yes!"

"Great!"

"Tonight?"

"Y-yeah, if that's okay.."

"Yeah it is, I'll uh..pick you up later and we can go for a swim.."

He rubs his head and Destiny tries not to chuckle at how cute he is being. Bailey swims off to get ready for tonight, he was really nervous and didn't want Destiny to see that. Destiny blinks but goes back to Dory. Where they go to get her ready putting one of Dory's necklaces around Bailey that was too big for Dory. Bailey figured out where Destiny would be and goes that way. Destiny turns around and they bump noses, they turn red rubbing their faces.

"Sorry,"

"No it's okay, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, are you okay?"

"Yeah just a little bump, ready to go?"

"Yeah."

"Aw, bye you guys have fun," says Dory.

They blush heading out going somewhere they can swim privately. They were awkward at first not really saying anything, but they really start talking. Just like they were doing in the past few years. They even went out for dinner together, that is where Bailey starts getting nervous, the date is going well even though they only swam around alone talking normally.

"So...uh why did you ask me out?" asks Bailey.

"Why?" aks Destiny.

"Yeah," says Bailey.

"Well...I like you Bailey, not in a friend way but...something more.." says Destiny.

She blushes looking away not sure why he said yes.

"I uh..like you too, honestly I wanted to ask you out myself, but couldn't find the courage…" says Bailey.

"Really?" asks Destiny.

"Yeah," says Bailey.

"Ohhh…" says Destiny.

They stay there awkward when the check comes, Bailey pays for it. They then start their way home to the pod, when they are almost home Destiny stops Bailey. He is confused but she quickly kisses him and starts heading back toward the pod.

"Thanks for tonight, see you tomorrow, Bailey."

She leaves quickly, he blushes and starts sinking into the sand happily.
