Hate. Anger. He didn't just feel those emotions, he was those emotions. She knew that when she first met him. Knew all these things - about the darkness, fear, suffering - within him. And yet...and yet, it never stopped these feelings stirring inside her. Never stopped them from creating thoughts of him to consume her mind. She couldn't even focus on her Jedi training with Master Skywalker.

No, the only thing she could focus on was him. The most dangerous Sith Lord this Galaxy had to offer, second only to Snoke - Kylo Ren. Just the name of him made a shiver run up her spine. It was enough to drive one crazy. Cool metal scraped against her wrists as the ship landed in the hangar bay. A pit formed in her stomach as she reached out with the Force.

He was here somewhere. She opened her eyes as the clone troopers shoved her out of the small ship, towards the room where Kylo was waiting. Whether she'd gotten arrested on purpose or by mere accident, she hadn't the slightest clue. All of her feelings were jumbled inside her. All rational thoughts lefter Rey's mind then as she caught sight of him. The dark mask covered his face but the features hidden there still haunted her dreams at night, forever etched into her brain.

Stormtroopers behind her exited through the doors in which they came in, the metal closing behind them with a hiss. It was just the two of them now and her heart beat loudly in her eardrums. He stalked towards Rey with precision, combat boots heavy on the floor but she stood her ground. She was not afraid of him. When he had finally reached her, he stopped. Time seemed to slow then and before she realized it, he had removed the mask.

Brown eyes met hers and she sucked in a shaky breath, utterly taken aback by his dark and twisted beauty. There was a sadness in his eyes but a fierceness, too. He was brave, strong. She knew he must have inherited that inner strength from General Organa. She was a remarkable woman. Often, Rey had wondered just how he had turned out the way he had...

But maybe it was just down to genetics...things even a good upbringing couldn't change.

"Why did you come here?" he asked her, that deep voice soft as velvet.

She swallowed, taking a step back to put some distance between them.

"I didn't come of my own accord, I was arrested and brought here against my will," she bit out harshly.

He snorted, rolling his eyes as he turned his back to her. Dark hair fell just above his shoulders, shaggy and coarse.

"We both know that's not true, Rey. You're too smart to just get accosted by my men on accident," he told her solemnly, "Which only means one thing: you wanted to be here. But why?"

He turned back to face Rey then and she stared back at him defiantly. His chocolate orbs held a hint of amusement at her boldness as she stood before him. And finally, she admitted the truth. Not only to him but to herself. A truth which even she had never even dared to think of.

"I want you to teach me the ways of the Dark Side,"

His eyebrows shot to his hairline and Rey saw a flicker of surprise in his eyes before he began to grin maliciously.

"I knew this day would come..." he said, his words becoming softer as he neared her.

With one gloved hand, he reached out and cupped her cheek.

"Welcome...my new apprentice."
