I give all credit to the creators of this show and their characters.

Yet I do own this story plot, any fully original characters I thought up myself and any original poems I decide recite within this story. They are all owned by me. Thank you.

"Why do you have to wear that ugly thing everyday?"

"Simple, it`s the very reason I still hang out with you after all these centuries." She responds with one of her sweetened grins.

"And what reason is that?"

"I didn't have any better options." She retorts.

He lets out an beyond irritated huff. Mentally choosing whether or not it would be best for him to pretend her answer did not make the back of his eyes a bit. *Nah..not today, but someday soon.* Instead he chooses to roll his eyes away from his irritator. Just because he was not going to let on that she was hurting him does not mean he was going to let past his moment to tell her she how very wrong she was. "Now hush!" He responds crisply, suddenly listening for any movement other than their own. As his wild eyes darted around the room; unable to settle his eyes on anything other than her and the cracked, brick door behind them. He was looking the same as a child would look as if the monster his parents said was already gone long ago but could suddenly show up at any moment if anyone chooses to speak out any words that they should not have in the first place. After a few moment she was beginning to settle himself down, again.

Finally he was able to take a second and begin to fully process what the girl in front of him had dared to say to him...then he remembered... *Wait a second.* Then he turned his head over to her and narrowed his eyes at her and this time only her. "Be careful of what you say when you know very well they made the right decision when I was voted beside you. Heck! I heard you had begged them for me to become the Final Choice. Do you not remember that? Because I know you do."

"Yeah, about that." The woman begins. She guesses she could just tell the boy, now. It was not as if she could do any more damage than he had already done in the pass nine weeks.

"...About what?" He boasted- already prepared for another one of her comebacks. He can still argue with her at least twice a day. Secretly their fights are the only thing that can make his day interesting.

Turning her burnt cheek towards him says something that to this day he is considering has to be the most hurtful thing she had said to him...well to his face, anyway. "Calm down will you?! I was going to say that everybody may voted for you, but..."

"Yeah. But."

"I didn't' vote for you. And I`m still so so sorry, too"
