I remembered how Simon has an obsession with soccer calves, and then I got this idea.

Enjoy!

I don't know why I came to the soccer game. Maybe it was because I had nothing better to do. Or maybe because Nick was going to be there. Or because I have a thing for soccer calves. Or maybe, just maybe, I wanted to see Bram. But just maybe.

I stood at the sidelines, not really knowing what to do.

"Hey Simon, what are you doing here?" Abby asks me, and I jump, startled.

"What are you doing here?" I ask here.

She rolls her eyes. "I came to watch people play soccer. But what are you doing here? You never come to soccer games."

I shrug. "I don't know. I had nothing better to do."

"Suure."

I shrug again.

At half-time, Abby and I walk over to where Nick is standing.

"Wow, you are really good!" Abby says, rushing over to him.

"Thanks."

"Yeah man, you were really good!" I say, "You were great too, Bram," I continue, turning to Bram.

He rubs his neck in embarrassment. "Uh, Thanks."

"So, good luck in the rest of them game!" I tell him.

"Yeah."

I walk back to where Abby and I were standing, dragging her with me. And we watch the rest of the game. We win. After the game is over, Nick, Bram, and Garrett walk over to us.

"Hey," Abby says, "Nice game."

"Thanks," Nick says.

"Do you guys want to head over to the Waffle House for a celebratory meal?" Abby asks.

"Sure," Nick answers, and Bram does too. Yes!

Garrett looks slightly apologetic. "Sorry, I can't. Have fun, though." he says, and he walks away to his car.

Nick, Abby, Bram and I all stand there.

"Umm, so I have a car, and Nick has one. We should split up." I say. Please let me ride with Bram!

"That's a great idea Simon! I'll go with Nick, and you go with Bram." Abby says. Thank god!

"Okay." I say, but inside I'm squealing.

Bram and I walk one way, and Abby and Nick walk the other way.

And then I do something stupid and irrational.

"You have nice calves," I say.

Bram glances at me weirdly. "Thanks?"

My eyes widen. Fuck, I said that out loud.

"Umm..." is all I can manage to stutter out.

"You have nice calves too," Bram says, "Now where is this car of yours?"

I stand there in shock for a few seconds before realizing Bram has just said something. Bram just complimented my calves! "Oh, my car! it's right here." I quickly walk over to the car, and open it. I slide into the drivers seat, and Bram sits in the passenger seat. I buckle the seat belt, and then I turn the key and start the car.

The car is quiet for a few minutes before Bram finally ask something. Something very surprising.

"Are you gay?" I'm quiet for a second before turning to him.

"Yes. Why, are you?"

"Yes."

We reach the Waffle House after what seems like an eternity.

I park the car, and both of us get out. Nick's car is already here, so we enter.

Abby waves at us from the table, and we both walk over. I slide into the booth, and Bram slides in next to me. We are both quiet.

"What is going on?" asks Abby. "Why do you two look so blue?" Bram laughs.

"I believe that only one of us looks blue."

"What?" Abby furrows her brow in confusion.

Bram continues. "I look Blue, but he looks Jacques."

I nearly choke on my iced tea. Bram is Blue! "You're Blue?! You're Blue!"

Bram kisses my cheek. "Yeah, I am."

By now, both Abby and Nick are looking at us in confusion.

"What is going on?" Nick asks.

I take Bram's hand, and pull him out of the booth.

"I'm taking my boyfriend out to eat," I say.

And then Bram and I both rush out of the Waffle House. And then we kiss. And kiss. And kiss some more.
