A/N: Lookie here! I have returned and better than ever! … Well somewhat. With the shit that has been happening recently as you all may have noticed, I have been keeping myself safe. When I was working on this chapter, I often asked myself of the things that happened as of now outside. With the virus and now the whole thing of justice, race, and all, it bothers me to how our nation has come to. *sighs* What I want is for people to just stop with the mess. Enough is enough. I mean haven't we all caused enough mistakes? Look back at our history both in the cities and the nation itself and tell me of the troubles we made regarding our nation's state. This isn't what it should be. Where will there be peace when people continue the violence? How long will people realize the damage they are doing won't ever solve anything? When will people open their eyes and wake up to the reality that they have to fix it peacefully? To fully end the discrimination through peaceful means? To know they are putting shame into our own civil history with more violence?

…. Well, enough of that. I am here to give you guys this chapter, not of how I feel regarding the recent incidents. Let's just get on with it and begin part 2 of the Tutankhamen arc.

Henshin!

'Thought'

"Ganma"

Enrique grumbled as he mulled over the incident that occurred earlier. After the paranormal event, things weren't going well as the Ganma retreated no thanks to its passive ability. The company building had to be evacuated and closed until the next day to sort out the problem. There was no doubt he was on the right track on the Tutankhamun Eyecon. With Minato being the connection, it was obvious the Ganma was after the same thing. However, it bothered him to know the spirit escaped and gave him a cryptic response.

'Just what is that Ganma really doing for Minato?' He wondered. The curses weren't from the Ganma since the dark spirit claimed he merely activated it by its presence. Does that mean Minato has something that is triggering a curse? If so, what does Minato have exactly that is related to the late pharaoh? It was starting to irritate him. 'What does that Ganma see that I don't? What is it?' The American pondered irritably.

He looked at himself and grimaced. The fight against Khopesh was challenging which irked him. He needed to train harder in order to get stronger once he gained the Eyecon.

"This will get me nowhere if I don't locate that Ganma. I will get answers from it one way or another."

"Enrique?" A familiar voice recognized the teen.

The rider blinked. He raised his head and noticed the school nurse. "Ms. Hasegawa?" He recognized, surprised.

A Specter's Testament

Chapter 5: Awaken! The Pharaoh Rises!

Enrique hissed as Chisato applied medicine to his arm. The battle against the Khopesh Ganma has proven to be far more complicated due to the curse it can apply to its surroundings. He had to pause his search since Yurusen wanted him to get patched up. That said, he surprisingly ran into the school nurse who was currently tending to his injuries.

"So the victim this time is Kobayashi-san, right?" She asked.

"Yeah… I tried to fight the Khopesh Ganma but it escaped from me." He growled at the recollection.

"Did you check on Kobayashi-san's condition?"

"No… I was more focused on tracking that bastard Ganma." He wasn't one to let a Ganma escape. Much like he did against Tesla and Nodachi, he tracks them down and eliminates them.

"Enrique...if you want to find that Ganma, you need to know what they are after." Chisato reminded him. "You know that it's planning to use Kobayashi-san to find the new Eyecon, right?"

"Well, yes." He replied nervously.

"So you need to keep an eye on him. If the Ganmas' MO are targeting people with connections to these 'Eyecons', you need to figure out the reason why and figure out how to solve them."

"The only thing I know is that Minato holds something involving King Tutankhamen. I just don't know what relic he holds exactly." He recalled the lead he got after meeting the heir. When he saw Minato's belongings in the Corporation, there was no item related to the late Pharoah.

"Anything else about his background? That could find you a lead to the reason he's being used." She pressed on.

Enrique pondered but was frustrated by the complications of the case. His brows scrunched in growing irritation which Hasegawa caught.

"It's never simple to find out why." The school nurse added. "You need to realize that someday, you can't handle the burden on your own. Otherwise, you won't be able to save anyone. To have allies who can help rather than being one person alone to fight."

"Do you think so?"

"Of course. Why do you think I'm helping you right now?" Chisato smiled, "You are indeed a special student who needs my help."

His cheeks went pink slightly recalling the kiss she did before he shook his head. He can't think like that right now; the mission was more important.

"There, it's all done." Chisato informed, wrapping the last of the bandages around his forearm.

"Thanks for that." He told her.

"It was no problem. It's my job to help the injured." Chisato told him before she took her leave. "I'm going to leave now. Be sure to remember what I told you."

"...Don't worry I won't." Enrique said as he watched her leave.

"Wow~!" The second-year student turned and saw that Yurusen had now appeared. "You really do have a way with older women, Enrique~!"

"Oh come on, Yurusen! It's not like that!" Enrique exclaimed.

"Sure it is~! Hehehe~!" Yurusen chuckled in a teasing tone. "Well anyway~, now that you're all patched up we should investigate more about this Ganma and Kobayashi guy."

"Yeah, I know." Enrique said as he stood up and walked to his bike. "And another thing."

"What?" The spirit was given a heavy hit to the head by his companion. "GUH!"

"That's for the teasing."

A large bump was now visible on Yurusen's head, "G-Got it…" .

Enrique got on his bike and drove to the main street.

"Looks like he's on the move."

Unknown to both Enrique and Yurusen was that someone was watching them, hiding in the shadows.

"Now then Specter, how will you handle this."

After an hour, Enrique arrived at the apartment building of the mother of Minato. Thanks to Hasegawa's and Yurusen's help, he was able to locate the mother which wasn't an easy task. Given what he learned from the nurse, Minato lived most of his time with his father before the man passed away. The mother no doubt left them but he needed the truth if he is to find a way to save Minato and get the Eyecon before the Ganma.

"Well this should be the place." Enrique said before he entered the building, and took the elevator to the 10th floor of the building.

The elevator eventually stopped on the 10th floor, and he soon walked out of it, and then walked down the hallway to the room Mrs. Kobayashi resided in. Enrique eventually found the door to that room, and knocked on it.

"Please, wait a moment." A woman called out before she opened the door to greet Enrique.

"...Mrs. Kobayashi?" Enrique asked.

"Yes, what do you want?" She asked.

"I'm here to talk about your family."

That caused Mrs. Kobayashi to click her tongue in annoyance. A scowl present on her features. "If this is about my bastard ex-husband, I am not getting myself involved." She was about to slam the door closed.

However, the teen stopped her from closing the door. "No, it's not like that. I'm here about my upperclassman, Minato. Minato Kobayashi."

Her eyes widened slightly, "Minato?" The woman opened the door. "Did something happen to my son?"

The American rubbed his neck. "It's… kinda difficult to explain. I think I should tell you about it inside."

The woman stared at him before opening the door to allow him inside. The American entered the apartment and took a seat on the chair.

The woman sat across from him as Enrique began to explain to her about her son's situation. Then he went into detail regarding her son and how the two met as well as the recent incident of the Ganma. At first she found it unbelievable until the young man made a belt appear via flames.

"I see...so that's what happening." Mrs. Kobayashi said as she lowered her head.

"Listen, Mrs. Kobayashi, I know this might be difficult for you, but I want to help Minato. So please, anything you can tell me will help." Enrique said.

"My son…" she took a deep breath. "Was inspired to make a change to the company... You said he wanted to make it better without any more problems that my ex-husband caused?"

"That's what he mentioned to me." Enrique confirmed. "I don't mean to pry but, I want to know, what kind of man was your ex-husband?"

The woman took a deep breath. It was difficult to look back at those days. "At first, I thought he was a loving and kind man...but that was only a mask. He was abusive, greedy, and cruel. At some point I couldn't take it anymore, so I left and abandoned my son in the process." She told him.

"Mrs. Kobayashi… Do you hate your son…?"

The woman closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "To this day, I never hated him... I regretted leaving him behind…" She held her tongue. "With how my husband was, I just couldn't do anything…"

The memories of her time being with the man to call a husband. It was all but painful to her. She started to cry as tears fell from her eyes.

The high schooler admonished himself upon seeing the woman's state. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have pry like that." Enrique apologized.

"It's alright." Mrs. Kobayashi said as she wiped her tears away. "I think I needed to let it out and talk about this."

"I hope you won't mind me asking, but does your son have a relic of some kind?" Enrique asked. "Something that could have been placed in a museum?"

"Y-Yes he does. It's an amulet." She answered.

"Amulet?" He never saw Minato wear one. Unless… 'His uniform hid it.'

Now it made sense to the Rider. It explained why he briefly saw his senior grasp his shirt during the elevator ride in the corporation.

"Before my father passed away, he gave it to Minato given how he was not like my ex-husband. He mentioned it being a relic; a reminder of a chance to make things better when the day came to run the company."

Upon the woman's explanation, Enrique finally began to connect the dots of Minato's connection to the late pharaoh. The amulet. Minato kept an amulet that belonged to the pharaoh. Now he realized why the Ganma waited for Minato's arrival at the corporation! To activate the Curse of Tutankhamen! The corporation itself served as the main ground to allow the paranormal curse to reach its tipping point and create an Eyecon.

"Mrs. Kobayashi, we must head to the company."

"What?"

"Your son will be putting himself in danger. It's hard for me to explain but we must go help him. He deserves to see you and for him to know that you do care about him." Enrique insisted firmly. "This is your chance to help him! Your chance to fix everything for your family!"

The woman's eyes slowly widened. To fix what was broken. All she wanted to do was to return to her son but feared her ex-husband. To reunite with Minato was something she longed for, to be with her son again as a family.

Enrique first thought the woman was hesitant to return to the corporation at first but the woman stood up. "I'll go with you."

The run to the corporation was out of haste due to the possible trouble the Ganma will unleash. Minato's mother followed Enrique to the corporation.

When they headed inside the building, they saw several people wounded on the ground as the others were helping them. Mrs. Kobayashi saw and recognized one of the workers as she ran to them.

"Saika, what's going on?!" Mrs. Kobayashi asked, seeing several people nursing their injuries.

"Something is happening at the top floor of the corporation! At first it was objects thrown around but now, things are getting worse! Already the other floors were evacuated!"

Enrique cursed under his breath. The Curse of Tutankhamun was nearing its tipping point. If it reaches its maximum output, Minato's life will be gone and the Eyecon in the Ganma's hands. He knew the stories of the supposed curse – the victims all died.

"What about Minato?!"

"He's still up there!"

Without another word, Mrs. Kobayashi quickly ran up the emergency stairs to the top floor where her son was.

"Wait, Mrs. Kobayashi!" Enrique called before he followed her.

With the woman, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her through the flight of stairs. To learn the situation of her son and the spirit that was using him to ruin his own life. It scared her. She didn't want to lose her son. She lost her son to her husband. She didn't want her son's life to be taken away.

Pushing the door open, the woman frantically looked around as the lights exploded, causing her to duck. Her eyes drift up before dashing to the main room leading to the work office.

Entering the room, she winced to the harsh wind that spread throughout the area.

Mrs. Kobayashi held her arms up to shield herself from the rush of wind spreading across the room. The desks already flipped over, the papers flying around, the lights already extinguished by the curse. Her eyes saw her son in the center of the room, his eyes clouded and the reason for the ensuing activity.

The Khopesh Ganma laughed as he clapped in amusement, his presence being invisible to the mother. "Just a little more time and the Eyecon will appear!"

The woman winced when a book flew above her head and a few pens grazing her clothes. She didn't want to lose her son. Her only child she loved. His safety and life being important to her. Her motherly instincts became stronger and lowered her arms to speak up to the green-haired student.

"I know this isn't you Minato! You have to keep it together! Don't make the same mistakes your father has made, Minato!" Mrs. Kobayashi shouted. "Do what you would have wanted! Just like the one who inspired you to make things right! Just like your grandfather said!"

Her plea slowly earned Minato's attention. To hear her after so long. "Okaa-san…?" He recognized the voice.

The Ganma clicker his tongue in frustration, noticing the burst of energy of the Curse was starting to dwindle. The boy's mother was starting to calm him. "I won't allow this to end the plan to obtain the Eyecon!" The Khopesh Ganma raised his weapon to behead the mother.

However, a hand stopped him in which the spirit noticed who did it.

Specter.

"Not this time, Ganma!" Specter shoved the enemy's wrist and delivered a swift right hook.

The dark spirit grunted and swung his blade at the phantom rider. However, Specter had his signature weapon to stop the edge from cutting through his armor.

"You?! You are the reason for his mother's approach?!"

"You got that right! Minato's life and his mother deserves to be mended from abuse and pain!" Specter barked. "I won't let you remove Minato's life and let his mother mourn for the only thing she cared about!"

"Then have at it, Specter!" The spirit shoved the weapon up and struck the phantom rider across his torso, allowing sparks to bleed off his phantasmal armor. Specter grunted before stopping the next stab and countered with a cross into Khopesh's exposed skin.

The Egyptian-themed spirit buckled from the hit before feeling Specter's fist slam against his chin. Khopesh staggered, rubbing his jaw before he growled and bellowed in fury to the brat's interference.

The two clashed once more, allowing Mrs. Kobayashi to approach Minato. "Minato…" Minato's eyes widened as he heard that voice again. He looked and finally saw his mother standing in front of him.

"K-Kaa-san…" Minato muttered in shock upon seeing her.

Minato's mother took a few steps closer before she hugged her son, comforting him. "I'm sorry… I am so sorry for leaving you with your father." She cryingly apologized. "I wanted to do everything I could to take you away from him but I was scared…"

His clouded eyes slowly returned to its normal state, the aura that briefly appeared now vanishing. The third year student finally regained his senses and returned the hug to his mother who he never saw for a long time. He understood her fear and reasons. He remembered how it was being with his father.

"Kaa-san…" His eyes began to swell with tears. "Okaa-san."

"I'm here, Minato. I'm home." Her mother consoled him. "Please… Please don't do what your father has done. Do what Tutankhamen has done."

Minato looked at his mother then down at his shirt, pulling a necklace from under his uniform. The trinket around his neck was a gold necklace hooked onto a gold scarab with a priceless blue gem embedded onto it. "I… I will restore everything from the ground up! Just like King Tutankhamen did!" Minato's resolve connected to the amulet, both of them shrouded in a golden aura. Seeing the glow, the phantom rider shoved the Ganma away from him. The glow surprised the third-year student.

"Minato, the amulet!" Specter called. "The curse will end if I draw the seal!"

"H-Hai!" Minato ripped the amulet off from his person and tossed it to his friend. He didn't need it anymore.

Specter immediately caught the amulet and quickly drew the seal, causing cyan smoke to appear and a Damashii manifesting itself into reality. With the manifestation of the Damashii, the Curse finally ended.

"The Curse is gone!" The Ganma was horrified by the revelation. With the spirit now here, the curse was canceled by its appearance.

The Damashii was of a cyan color, the shoulder area having gold plating that is shaped as hands. The front edges of his hood shaped as the headdress of the Egyptians. Its piercing eyes staring down at the phantom rider.

"King Tutankhamun, lend me your power! To prevent the chaos the Ganma wishes to create!" Specter requested.

It stared at the dark lenses before nodding. It flew into the Ghost Driver, allowing Specter to cup his hand near the buckle. The object materialized onto his waiting hand, revealing a new Eyecon. A cyan blue Eyecon that held the number 11, the name inscribed as Tutankhamun.

The phantom rider gripped the object tightly and glared at the Ganma. "Time for a new change." He crossed his right arm and pressed the Eyecon. With the symbol changing, the rider replaced his Specter Eyecon with the newest one.

His main Damashii vanished as Specter replaced it with the new Tutankhamun Eyecon and closed the Driver. When it closed, the Driver sounded out its usual tune.

EYE!

BATCHIRIMIRO! BATCHIRIMIRO!

As this tune played, the Damashii of Tutankhamun flew out of his belt. Specter then looked up as he pulled the lever before pushing it back in.

KAIGAN! TUTANKHAMUN!

PYRAMID WA SANKAKU! OKE NO SHIKAKU!

The Egyptian Damashii flew down, covering Specter and gracing him with a new form and power. The faceplate through was mostly a teal green color and somewhat resembled that of two sickles pointing in the center.

His Cobra Phone suddenly showed up and slithered to his GanGunHand. The snake transformed itself as it latched onto the hand and became a blade.

Seeing it, Specter twirled the new sickle. "I can get used to this." His faceplate looked at the Khopesh Ganma who took a step back. "And now, I will reap that head of yours for trying to change Minato's perspective and attempting to ruin him and his future. His ideals will stay as it is with the help of his mother."

"Damn you, Specter!" The dark spirit ran towards him in rage but the phantom rider used his new weapon to block the sword. The Rider parried the weapon and struck the Ganma several times, arcs of teal energy appearing from each strike he delivered.

When the Ganma attempted to bisect him, Specter evaded faster than expected.

Seems the new Damashii enhanced his weapon's slashes and his own agility. However he could assume due to this, one of his capabilities had to be lowered. Possibly his punching power.

No matter. If this can provide him a chance to defeat the Khopesh then so be it. Upon stopping the khopesh, the dark spirit roared in anger and tackled the Phantom Rider towards the window. Both crashed through as Minato called out in shock.

"Kouhai!"

The two combatants struggled as they fell, one punching the other towards the falling ground. Specter looked back down then at the Ganma. He wasn't in his standard Specter form to allow the spiritual phasing thus he needed help. "Yurusen! Little help here!" He called as he and the Ganma continued to fall. "Yurusen!"

At first, he thought the small spirit couldn't respond much to his horror but a familiar ship swooped below Specter and the Ganma, catching them both before dumping them close to the concrete floor.

It was the Captain Ghost.

"I appreciated, Yurusen!"

"You owe me this time!" Yurusen shouted from the boat.

Specter rolled his eyes under his helmet. "Yeah, yeah. I heard you!"

Both Yurusen and Captain Ghost vanished, leaving Specter with the Khopesh Ganma. The said Ganma grunted and stood on his feet.

The dark spirit produced Ganma Eyecons before throwing them. The objects summoned numerous foot soldiers to follow its bidding. "Kill him!" The Khopesh ordered.

The footsoldiers charged towards Specter but the latter wasn't intimidated. When the grunts were in range, he beheaded the first Ganma before cutting down the other.

The phantom rider marched towards Khopesh Ganma as each grunt attempted to hurt Specter. The rider kicked one gunt off their feet before swinging the sickle onto its body, knocking it back onto the ground in black ashes.

Two Ganma grunts jumped at the rider with their blades raised to cleave the human in two. The Kamen Rider slid backwards before he swiftly swung his sickle upward. It held the first grunt by the neck before pulling the weapon down. Leaning to the right to avoid the other's sword, the human mercilessly brought the curved blade down to the grunt's abdomen and pulled the weapon up, causing the Ganma soldier to fall into dust.

The next attack was with his weapon. He extended the grip over the next grunt's shoulder and pulled back, beheading another spirit like a reaper of the night.

With the last few grunts making their last stand, Specter scoffed at their futile attempt. The blue and black rider spun around, his weapon cleaving the final mob of grunts. Their bodies gained large gashes before exploding into ashes.

Seeing the Khopesh Ganma with its blade, Specter raised his weapon to block the strike. The collision created a blast of sparks. The Ganma's blue eyes meeting Specter's faceplate.

Shoving the sword down, the rider slammed his elbow against the right side of the spirit's chest. The spirit buckled slightly but the blue phantom wasn't done as he gave a right hook to Khopesh's face, staggering it.

Specter struck the Ganma diagonally but he caught the sickle from behind and used the other arm to strike it again. Again and again he was repeatedly slashing the dark spirit like a buzzsaw.

The speed increased with each striking twirl Specter unleashed, pushing the Ganma back further and further. The Ganma unable to move or block the ongoing attack he was assaulted by.

Finally, Specter slammed the blade into the Ganma's shoulder before pulling diagonally, leaving a large gash across its body. The Egyptian ganma yelled in pain, falling to its knees.

"Now… I will show you your end." Specter announced.

DAI-KAIGAN!

GANGANMIRO! GANGANMIRO!

Energy formed around the sickle blade as he swung his weapon, as it created a triangle with his 'Eye' symbol on it flew out and towards the Ganma. The Khopesh witnessed the now formed pyramid reveal an open vortex. The vortex began to inhale the dark spirit who tried to hold on for its dear life but when it saw Specter look down at him, it heard him say, "This is what you get for hurting Minato." And kicked the Ganma to the vortex. Specter turned around and walked away while he pulled the trigger on his weapon. He didn't need to look as he knew its fate like many others before it.

OMEGA FANG!

He heard the Ganma scream as the vortex closed and the pyramid exploded with it. The object that fell was a khopesh blade and the now shattered Ganma Eyecon.

"And good riddance."

Unknownst to him, someone watched the entire fight and his newfound ability.

With the Ganma vanquished, the second-year student returned into the corporation to see his senior. With the curse gone and the Eyecon obtained, everything settled down within the building.

Minato lifted his head to see his friend reach his hand out to him. The heir took hold before Enrique pulled him up to stand with the help of Mrs. Kobayashi. "You alright?" The foreigner asked.

"Hai." Minato replied. "I… I don't know what to say. I thought after summoning a spirit, it would help me..."

"You were only tricked, Minato. What matters now." He presented the Tutankhamun Eyecon. "Is to rebuild what has been ruined."

The third year looked at the Eyecon before he gently pushed it back to Enrique. "Hold onto it. I think you should use it more than me, kouhai. If I learned anything from you, I have to focus on what my heart wants to follow." He glanced at his mother. "And I will rebuild everything from the ground up to help everyone."

Enrique smiled. "I wish you the best, Minato. I know that you will be a good boss and make great changes like Tutankhamen had for his people." He gave a small wave and departed.

From the other side of the building, Alain watched with amusement to see the outcome.

"Another one of our own has been slain, Alain-sama. Are you sure it is wise to let that cursed Specter keep that Eyecon?"

"Don't worry. Everything is being set." The young man grinned, tossing a new Eyecon in hand. "He merely gave us time. He may have three Eyecons, but it allowed us to have three in our possession."

In Alain's hand was an azure Eyecon that held the number '13' and is labeled Houdini.

"And he will lead us to more Eyecons in the future." The young man motioned his guard to follow. The guard however gave a glance at the damn brat who earned another Eyecon before Alain. While Alain has 13-Houdini, 14-Grimm, and 15-Sanzo, Specter has 2-Edison, 11 Tutankhamen, and 12-Nobunaga. It didn't change the fact his prince was allowing Specter to slay their kind while earning new Eyecons.

This is going to be a race to see who will collect them all.

Either Specter or the Ganma.

"In other news, Kobayashi Minato has announced the rebuilding of the company he inherited from his late father who brought the company into a crisis. Already, the young CEO has hired new employees and is beginning anew as the company has finally begun a new beginning for everyone." The news reporter announced.

Enrique smiled thinly as he watched the large screen on the plaza. He was sitting on his black motorcycle, seeing the results of Minato's courage. With the few days that passed since the incident, he was glad to see results upon Minato's newfound courage.

"Seems everything worked out despite what happened." Yurusen noted, resting on his partner's shoulder. "It's unfortunate hearing that he got tricked."

"Yup. He never knew that amulet brought actual curses to people, no thanks to that Khopesh Ganma." Enrique said. "That shows his courage to fix things. I even heard he paid the ones that got hurt by the curses he accidentally unleashed."

"Well, at least it is all handled and you made a new friend!"

The foreigner rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah. Say all you want." Deep down he wondered if it was like that–A friend. He never made many friends in the past since he was focused on his mission.

"Hey, don't look so down! Besides, that nurse did want to be your friend too, remember?"

"Did you seriously have to bring that up?"

"She did keep your identity as Specter a secret and willing to help you."

Enrique glanced at Yurusen before he sighed and said, "I guess… Wonder why she wanted to help me without a second thought…"

"Maybe the divine presence is related to that reason." Yurusen suggested. "I don't know what kind of presence it is, though."

"Maybe we'll find out soon," He checks the time. "I'll tell Ms. Hasegawa what happened tomorrow. She will be pleased to hear that we saved someone."

"Is that a comment of hers, I hear?" Yurusen teased, only to receive a hand gripping his head. "GUAH!"

"Sorry, what was that you said, Yurusen?" Enrique asked with a 'smile'.

The small ghost shivered in fear at the faux smile his friend held. Being with him for 13 years, he knew what is real and false from the high schooler. "N-Nothing…!"

Enrique released his grip on Yurusen. "I thought so." He put on his motorcycle helmet and lowered the black visor to shield his eyes. "Right now, a rest is needed before we can tell her." He insisted, starting the engine and drove his way back home with Yurusen in tow.

Golden eyes stared at the city below via the rooftop. The woman from before being the one to watch the spectacle. After witnessing what occurred recently, there was no doubt the human was unique with his spiritual power. Then, the minor appearance of invisible beings who were considered dark spirits. She closed her eyes, detecting a demonic presence behind her. "You were right about the human." The woman said to the person behind her.

The person was none other than the Shadow Demon, Lars.

"So you now realized what brought up my curiosity." Lars responded, looking at the city. "For a mere human, he was capable of grasping power that no other average human could hold until now."

The tanned woman's form changed, revealing her true self. No longer she was wearing normal clothes, instead were rather revealing dark clothes that revealed her skin from her cleavage to her abdomen. However the now noticeable feature were the demonic ears that are on her snow white hair.

Her true form was what she was — a Demon.

"Which begs the question of who he really is." The woman stated. "No human can gain power yet he alone has."

"And the ominous spirit." Lars wasn't a fool to notice it. When Specter attacked the spirit, it briefly became visible to the mortal eyes. To damage a spirit and force it to manifest briefly to reality was no simple feat. Either it was due to the armor or a power within Specter.

"Do you think he is one of the Heroes?" The female demon asked.

"... No." Lars admitted. "I don't believe he is."

Zest's delicate brows furrowed. Lars proved a point. The Specter was no Hero and yet his abilities and combat showed he was considered as such.

"Anything pertaining to his background?"

"Only the fact he came from a normal family. There's no history of any ancestors who are Heroes." Even Lars was starting to have the same thought in mind.

What is it about the human that both the Heroes and Demons aren't aware of?

The next day was the usual routine for Enrique: Morning exercise, Eyecon practice, and then going to school. That said, the phantom rider already parked his motorcycle close to the school and removed his helmet. The teen elicited a sigh and placed it into the compartment. At least the situation with the Ganma settled for the time being. While it irritated him to have no further leads on any new Eyecons, he had to be patient.

Entering the school, he walked to the infirmary and slid the door open. Hasegawa immediately took heed of Enrique's presence. "Ah, Enrique. Good morning."

"Morning." The second year student responded. "Mind if I…?"

The nurse smiled and gestured to the chair across from her. "Not at all."

Enrique nodded before taking his seat as Chisato began to gather a few supplies.

"I saw the news yesterday. Seems you accomplished what was needed for Kobayashi-san." The school nurse informed him. "I am glad things have worked for him."

"Same here."

"I also heard his mother returned." Chisato smiled. "Seems like someone has fixed more than a simple situation after all."

The high school scratched his cheek in embarrassment. She was referring to him. His eyes glanced and noticed Chisato reaching for a roll of bandages on the shelf but his cheeks flared intensely when he glanced at her rear. Immediately he shook his head to try and forget the memory of the kiss.

"I-I just wanted to help him since he's been through enough." Enrique admitted.

The dark-haired woman stepped down and returned to her seat. "And it worked. Now do you see? You aren't a bad person at all. You not only helped Minato but also mend the family back together." She turned the chair to face him. "That alone shows you are not using them for nefarious purposes like the Ganma are."

"I guess you're right." He sighed and noticed Chisato raising a bandage. "A-Ah…" He rolled his sleeves to allow Chisato to patch his injuries.

The nurse chastised the work done to tend his injuries but given the Rider's frequent fights, he didn't have much time to fully make recoveries.

"You really should tend to your injuries more often Enrique. Can't have the teachers question your activities."

"Right… sorry." Enrique murmured. He really should look out more of his injuries. To focus more on recovery immediately after fighting. If he didn't, the teachers from his class would question his doings regarding outside the school life.

Chisato replaced the old bandages with a new one and rolled his sleeves back down. "Just remember to keep watch in case your injuries worsen."

The raven-haired teen opened his mouth slightly to speak but the school bell rang, informing students to head to their first class for the day. The teen stood up from his seat and approached the door.

"I should head to class. And…" He looked away nervously. "T-Thanks, Ms. Hasegawa."

"Anytime, Enrique," The nurse smiled kindly which made Enrique blush and quickly left the infirmary in a hurry. The woman giggled. Despite not looking at him when she grabbed the supplies earlier, she knew he glanced which was progress for his attention. She did it intentionally to get his attention. After all, his reactions and tone were evident. However she was thankful to see him take her suggestion and fix what was broken. To see him able to do so was worthwhile and his soul has gained the capability to use the power of Tutankhamen. That alone showed he had true potential to harbor such power.

"You truly are an interesting one." Chisato hummed.

A/N: With that ending, this completed the Tutankhamen arc! Specter has gained another Eyecon as did Alain. It seems it is becoming a race to see who will gather more Eyecons before the other can. Along with the new Eyecon, it seems the two demons are now aware of Specter's activities which will lead to more trouble for our protagonist. You just have to wait and see what will happen in the next chapter.

I know I have said this before (twice if I recall correctly) but I am still searching for a Beta-reader/editor for an upcoming story. The requirements are the following: Must have knowledge of Final Fantasy VII (and its remake since the story will also follow the remake storyline) and/or Final Fantasy XIV Online. If you are interested in helping as an editor/beta-reader, please send me a private message through PM but you must know both games well (or the original Final Fantasy 7 and/or the FF7 Remake). I had also left a poll on my profile regarding this story if you are curious.

Don't forget to leave a review, favorite, and follow this story! Stay in the shadows everyone and I'll see you all later!

P.S. Please stay safe everyone and be careful.
