I Carry Your Heart With Me

INTRODUCTION

6 years after high school. They are all grown ups now. Their lives have changed for better or for worse. They have seen success, failure, heartbreaks, love lost, love found. In these past 6 years, they have seen it all.

NALEY welcomed their son, James Lucas Scott on the day of their high school graduation. Nathan Royal Scott ditched Duke and went to Stanford with his wife and son. But that didn't stop him from following his dream and he became an all star NBA player and got drafted by the Lakers in his sophomore year.

Haley James Scott, not only kept here musical dream alive, but also became a lecturer in Princeton. When Haley got a job in Princeton, Nathan left the Lakers and joined the Knicks as he didn't want to be away from his family.

Peyton Sawyer chased her dreams of making other people's dreams come true and went to Los Angeles. She was never a college person, so she found herself interning under a record label. Her dreams shattered by the harsh reality of music industry, and with that shattered her relationship with Lucas.

Lucas went to UCLA to stay close to Peyton, Naley and JLuke. But the closer he got to Peyton, the more he realized, this wasn't what he wanted. But nonetheless, he tried his best to salvage the relationship for he didn't want to fail in yet another relationship. But Peyton's professional turmoils left her with no strength to fight for a loveless relationship. They parted ways amicably and remained friends. Lucas didn't turn out to be her one true love after all.

Brooke Davis is now a renowned fashion designer, owner of Davis Industries and Enterprises, owned her clothing line, "Clothes Over Bros", with 8 showrooms in 3 countries (and expanding), owner of Davis textiles and had recently launched "Davis" fashion magazine a year ago. Her life was everything she ever wanted and a lot more.

Brooke Davis had been described as a Prodigy, a brilliant Designer, a self made woman, an aggressive entrepreneur, a visionary and a lot more. There was another addition to all the titles. Brooke Davis is a doting mother to a beautiful girl.

Lucas sat in a New York book cafe, signing his latest books. Same old routine… the usual travelling from one place to another, the usual attending one event and another. The usual New York.

Little did he know, that there would be nothing usual about New York this time.
