Oliver politely greeted the security guard as he hit the button to the elevator; he waited till it stopped to step off.
"Hello Mr. Queen, Lena is expecting you," Jess greeted him with a smile as she opened the door for him.
"Thank you," he said as she nodded before walking off.
"You made it," Lena beamed from her spot on the couch; she had her heels kicked off as she thumbed through a Catco magazine.
"Alex is very serious about her training," Oliver told her with a smile as he sat beside her.
"Oh I can imagine," Lena responded as she set the magazine down.
Oliver smiled at her as he reached over to tuck a strand of hair behind's Lena's ear, his hand lingering a moment.
Lena leaned into his touch as she took his hand, "so you were honest with me about your past, I feel I should be as well."
Oliver nodded as he waited for her to speak.
Lena took a deep breath as she began speaking, she told him all about her adoption, how she never felt she belonged, how Lex made her feel like she had a home, how the Lillian always treated her like she was nothing, how it felt seeing him slowly go mad with rage at Superman, how she took over the company and try to make it a force of good, how Kara was her only friend, how every time something happens she gets the blame, how her mother is the head of Cadmus who is hell bent on destroying the aliens.
Oliver listened to her every word, his hand never leaving hers as he felt his heart break at how she said she always felt like she deserved to be alone.
Tears fell from Lena's eyes as she leaned into Oliver.
Oliver was quick to wrap his arms around her as he held the crying women close to his chest. "I will tell you one thing,' he told her as he pulled away so he could look into her eyes, "you are worthy of love," he told her as he wiped her tears.
"Thank you," Lena whispered as she took the offered tissue, she dabbed at her eyes before setting it down.
"Sounds like we have both had it rough," Oliver tells her a hint of a frown on his face.
"As long as we don't let it define us I think we will be okay," Lena said as she leaned against him.
"Right," Oliver said as he held her.
The two sat in comfortable silence as Oliver just held her, it was broken however when the door flew open and Lillian strode in.
"I'm sorry Miss Luthor I told her you were busy," Jess said quickly as she followed behind.
Lena frowned as she fixed her dress as she stood up, "what are you doing here Mother?" she spat out.
"So this is your definition of busy? Shagged up with some man," Lillian said as she glared daggers at Oliver.
Jess silently ran out of the room.
Oliver stood up and held out his hand, "Oliver Queen.
Lillian ignored him as she turned back towards Lena who looked nervous, "he's not from around here is he?" she asked with a smirk.
Lena regained her composure as her eyes turned cold, "once again what do you want?"
"Leave us," Lillian said as she turned to Oliver who went to stand beside Lena.
"He stays," Lena told her as she crossed her arms.
"Very well," Lillian sneered as she crossed over to the counter where she poured herself a glass of scotch before turning towards the couple.
"Well?" Lena asked impatiently.
"Your brother for some odd reason wishes to see," Lillian said as she gulped her drink before setting it down.
"What?" Lena asked surprised her voice wavering.
Oliver was quick to set his hand on her lower back in comfort, she shot him a grateful smile before turning back towards her mother who was watching them with curious eyes.
"I have no desire to see him," Lena told her with her head held high as she leaned into Oliver.
Lillian's eyes narrowed as she glared at Oliver, "you've corrupted my daughter."
"She makes her own decisions," Oliver defended himself as he kissed Lena's forehead when he felt her tense up.
"Does she now?" Lillian asked with a smirk as she eyes Lena coolly.
"Once again I don't want to see him, now get the hell out of my office," Lena snapped.
"Of course," Lillian nodded as she turned and left leaving the couple alone.
"Are you okay?" Oliver asked as Lena took a deep breath.
"I'm fine," she told him with a smile that didn't quite reach her green eyes.
Oliver leveled her with a glare till she gave in.
"She just makes me feel like I will never been good enough," Lena told him as she sank down into her couch.
Oliver sat beside her as he pulled her into him, he held her tightly as he whispered, "you have no idea how special you really are. I used to think I was unworthy of love, just like you, I let the darkness take over, but I surrounded myself with people I can count on and everything changed."
"Thank you," Lena tells him as she snuggles closer.
"Of course," Oliver replies as she wraps her up tighter.
"Sorry to interrupt Miss Luthor but there is a Mr. Hudson here to see you," Jess says over the intercom.
Lena frown as she untangles herself from Oliver, "give me five minutes."
Oliver smiles as he stands up, handing Lena back her shoes, "I promised Winn I would help him train."
Lena laughed as she slipped them back on, "good luck."
Oliver smiled as he kissed her quickly before leaving.
"So Mr. Hudson what can I do for you?" Lena asked as he walked in.
Lea was trying her hardest to stay busy as the minutes ticked by, she looked up as her door opened, "Kara hi" she said as she closed her laptop.
"Hey," Kara greeted her as she held up a bag.
"Is that Big Belly Burger?" Lena asked as she beamed.
"It is," she replied as she set it down.
"You're so awesome," Lena told her as she sat down.
"So how was your day?" Kara asked as she popped a fry in her mouth.
"It was good, my mother came by," Lena frowned.
"Oliver told me, are you okay?"
Lena frowned, "you know how she makes me feel."
"She's wrong," Kara assured her as she squeezed her hand.
Lena smiled, "thank you."
Kara just nodded as she finished off her drink, "so Oliver was trying to escape but J'onn roped him into training new agents, so I was thinking maybe movie night?" Kara asked her, her face lighting up.
Lena beamed, "sounds like just what I need."
"Great," Kara smiled as she quickly took care of all the trash.
Kara turned on the lights as she and Lena entered her apartment, "I think I still have a pair of your pj's in my dresser," Kara told her as she grabbed a bottle of wine.
"Great," Lena said as she walked to the bedroom.
Once both girls were settled and well into their first movie, Kara's phone rang, "be right back," she told Lena as she squeezed her leg.
Lena watched her go, before returning her eyes back to the movie. "Everything okay?" she asked as she Kara returned.
"Yeah James was just complaining about an article I wrote," Kara frowned.
"What was it about?" Lena asked curious as she set her empty glass down.
Kara paused the movie, "Supergirl and her new vigilante friend the Green Arrow."
Lena smiled, "why would he be upset about it?"
"He doesn't trust Oliver," Kara told her.
"Oh," Lena mumbled.
"He's wrong about Oliver and about you," Kara told her.
"I don't care what James Olson thinks of me, but I do care what he's telling people about Oliver," Lena snapped.
"Look whether he prints my story or no, the people will see who Oliver really is."
Lena smiled, "you're right."
Kara nodded before unpausing the movie.
Both women finished the movie before heading to Kara's bedroom, "I'm just going to call Oliver real quick," Lena told Kara as she walked out.
Oliver was listening to Winn rambled on about his latest tech project when his phone rang, "hey," he greeted Lena.
"Hey how did training go?" Lena asked as she sat on the couch.
"It went well, they are quick learners," she heard Oliver say.
"I missed you," Lena told him as she looked towards Kara's door when she heard her cough.
"I missed you too," Oliver replied. "Maybe we can do something tomorrow?" he asked.
"I can clear my schedule," Lena told him.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Perks of being the boss," Lena laughed.
"I miss those days," Oliver replied.
"So I will see you tomorrow?" Lena asked.
"Sounds like a date," Oliver replied.
"Great, goodnight," Lena yawned.
"Goodnight."
Lena hung up with a smile before walking back towards Kara's room, it was dark when she entered so she fumbled her way around until she found her spot, and she crawled in next to the blonde.
"Night," Kara mumbled.
"Good night," Lena smiled as she thought about Oliver.
A/N: Please review, they make me so happy! . Also I know a lot of people don't think Oliver is acting like himself, I think he is. He and Lena are very similar. Always let me know what you think .
