Ok for those of you who read my story (Avatar the last airbender) will probably be angry that this isn't an avatar updated. Please know that I have a reason. The fact is that I've been writing that story for a looong time and because of that I want to do something else please believe me when I say that I do not intend nor ever intend to abandon that fanfic. I love the fanfic so much and feel that if I am getting a little tired of it and I do not want that. I will return to it at some point but for now I am writing this. Please try to understand

My oc is born in the One Piece world and he has ate a devil fruit (Anyone who has already came up with it I am not stealing it because I'm not writing the same story that you are and don't want to copy you. So yeah leave me alone with that) Also this is taking place on the Grand Line entrance.

With all that said let's move on to the chapter.

The ride up Reverse Mountain. Set sail!

"Nami my love, I have a report!" Sanji yells excitingly from the crow's nest through his binoculars with Zoro next to him and a certain guy named Kent sitting on the very peak of the mast. "Major cloud cover ahead big rain clouds. There's a storm coming." He says. "A well at least we're back on our original course." She says looking back at the map she's holding. "According to the map we should be spotting the Redline anytime now." After that Luffy stretches his arms and grabs the crow's nest and pulls himself up into it. "Wow we're almost there to the Grand Line at last." Luffy says with a goofy smile plastered on his face. "Isn't this exciting? We're finally going. We did it, we did it." He says cheerfully while continuously hitting Sanji on the back as he starts to get angry and back kicks Luffy in the face. "Cut it out!" He yells. "Sorry." Luffy apologizes.

"I have to admit I never thought I'd see the day. To be able to go into the grand line. It's amazing." Kent says with a smile while taking out a book of his and starts to write.

"Could this be right? Is the path to the Grand Line really as perilous as it's drawn here?" Nami thinks to herself while studying the map. After that Nami called everyone to the Ship's lounge as she places the map onto the table. "Take a look." She says drawing everyone's attention. "I'm familiar with the rumours and these drawings confirm it. As unimaginable as it may seem the entrance to the Grand Line is a mountain." She says pointing to a mountain with two lines cutting it like an X but one line on the right going through but stopping on the middle of the mountain. "So what are we going to crash into it?" Zoro asks her. "You got to be kidding." Sanji says. "I didn't want to believe it but the maps clear. The mountain appears to be riddled with small canals so we might have to go up and over it." She finishes. "ooooo, sounds like fun." Luffy says who has a glass between his teeth. "What are you talking about?" Zoro asks her confused. "Even if there are canals or whatever a ship can't climb up a mountain." "Well the map says otherwise." She says defending her statement. Kent walks up to Nami.

"Look guys Nami is just tired and isn't thinking straight I'm sure if she gets some rest she'll…." Before he could finish Nami punches him in the face as he falls onto the floor with a red fist shaped mark on his face. "Ow" He says mildly. "Shut up you if Nami thinks that something can be done than it can. Got that?" Sanji yells at him. Kent quickly gets up and dusts himself off. "Yeah but remember that map was stolen by buggy the clown so can we trust it?" Zoro says. "If you guys haven't noticed the rudders stuck!" Usopp yells in the background. "A little help over here would be nice!" He says still struggling with the rudder. "Sanji can you please give Ussop a hand? I can't think with all his shouting." She says irritated. "Right away Nami." He says sliding over to Usopp with hearts over his eyes.

"Uh, does this current seem unusually strong to anyone else?" Usopp asks them. "Usopp what did you just say?" Nami asks him catching her attention. "I asked if any of you noticed the insane strength of this current?" He asks again. "The current? That must be…" She says realizing something. "What is it?" Luffy asks her. "The canals do go up the mountain." She says. "And mind telling us how that works exactly?" Kent asks her. "Look right here." She points to the map as the rest look to what she is pointing. "You see? The guiding line was directing us to this spot on the Redline. Notice how it's labelled here Reverse Mountain." She says as Sanji stopped helping Usopp and also looked. "HELLO A LITTLE HELP OVER HERE THANK YOU!" He shouts as shark teeth form on his regular teeth. "I'll help you Usopp." Kent says humbly. "Ok let's go." He says and starts pushing but only to also struggle with it.

"COME ON BUDGE!" He says trying to move the rudder. Ignoring them Nami continues to explain. These green lines represent canals or artificial water ways if major currents from all four oceans float towards this mountain what do you thinks going to happen? The currents would force water up these canals collide at the top and go straight down into the Grand Line. Now Reverse Mountain is a winter mountain. So it's cold right? That means any surface currents that don't flow up the current will be forced down as they cool, anything riding those currents will be pulled down as well. We screw up and miss the entrance to the canal the Going Marry will be carried straight into the Redlines rock base and likely be destroyed." She says as she finishes.

"Ship and crew would be sucked to the bottom of the sea. Understand?" She says concerned. "Ok, so what you're saying is that if we miss our entrance. We can just kiss our dreams and our asses' bye bye. Well then hope someone packed some diving gear." Kent says as he quickly fits himself in a scuba suit. Everyone besides Luffy sweat dropped at the moment. "Yeah so It's a mystery mountain." Luffy says chuckling clearly not understanding what Nami means.

"(sigh) No that's not my point at all. Anyway since we're positioned on this current we shouldn't have any problems getting to the summit of Reverse Mountain. Only thing that would hurt us now is if something went wrong with the rudder." She says. "Nami you're a genius." Sanji says with his love sick attitude. "Call me sceptic but ships don't climb mountains." Zoro says unconvinced of this whole thing. "Well I heard a few stories." Sanji says. "Do those stories include you creeping girls out?" Kent says sarcastically causing Sanji to give him a deadly glare. "Watch it quick head. No what I heard was that half the people who make it to the Grand Line die before they even get there. Whatever we find isn't going to be easy." He says.

After that rain starts to fall. "Sanji can you get the sails?" Nami requests him. "Anything for you Nami." He says willingly. "Luffy help me." Sanji then says ordering Luffy. "Got it." Luffy says as he finishes pulling up the sails. Suddenly his eyes widen as the mist starts to clear revealing a mountain ahead. "Hey I can see the Mystery Mountain!" He shouts to the others. "It's Reverse Mountain!" Kent shouts back. "That's insanely huge." Usopp exclaims with his jaw dropped. "Wow, the entrance to the Grand Line." Nami says amazed at the site. "Awesome it's bigger than I thought." Luffy say excitingly. "It's gigantic. I can hardly see the top!" Kent yells with enthusiasm.

As the Straw Hats stare at the unbelievable site in front of them the Going Marry than bumps causing the crew to lose their balance as Luffy falls from the mast and swings back and forth while holding onto it. "Whoa, we're getting sucked in! Hold the rudder steady!" Luffy yells while bouncing up and down. "We're on it!" Usopp and Sanji yell back in unison. "Nami! Where's that entrance you were talking about?! If we keep this heading we're going to crash into the rocks!" Luffy asks her. Nami then sees a gap between the mountain. "There's a crack in the cliff. That must be it." She says. "Nami give us a direction." Usopp says. "Keep bearin straight ahead." She says full of certainty. "You can't be serious?" Usopp says dumbfounded. "Trust me." She says. Luffy and Kent than stand beside her. "Have we made it? Is that the canal entrance?" Luffy asks her curiously. "More than likely." She answers. "This is astonishing." Kent says in awe.

"I got to be dreaming. It's impossible. The ocean REALLY IS flowing up the mountain." Zoro says unable to believe what he is seeing. "We have to make our way through those water gates just right or we'll crash into the Redline and be smashed to pieces." Nami advises them.

At that moment the Going Marry starts drifting to the left moving a little bit away from the water gate. "We're drifting off course. We got to go more to the right!" Luffy exclaims to Usopp and Sanji. "We can't!" Usopp yells. "Kent give us a little help!" Sanji shouts. Kent turns around and runs to them. "I'm coming." He says as he grabs onto the rudder. "Push to starboard." Usopp says as all three of them push the rudder to the right as hard as they can. "Come on, put your back into it." Usopp orders them. "What do you think I'm doing?" Kent argues.

(Snap!)

The rudder suddenly breaks off as the three of them are sent flying crashing into a table. "THE RUDDER!" Luffy, Nami and Zoro scream in unison. Luffy then quickly hands his hat over to Zoro as he jumps off the ship. "GUM GUM…BALLOON!" He yells as his whole body quickly inflates as he is squeezed between the ship and one of the arch ways. The ship then slides off of him as it moves into the water heading back on the right course.

"Luffy grab a hold!" Zoro calls out to him reaching out his hand. Luffy deflates himself and stretches his arms far forward until he grabs onto Zoro. It then retracts as he flies towards the ship crashing face first on the deck. Usopp, Kent and Sanji cheer in joy while they jump around with arms around each other's necks as Nami sighs in relief. "WE MADE IT!" Usopp, Kent and Sanji Scream at the same time with delight.

As the Going Marry sails up the currents the rain stops as the storm fades away behind it. "Now it's just a straight shot to the summit!" Nami yells in glee. Muffled noises come from Luffy as he tries to get his head unstuck from the deck. "I'm free." He exclaims in triumph finally getting his head out. He runs to the port as the whole crew gaze upon the site. "Wow, great view." Luffy says admiring it. "I have to say that this is really awesome." Kent says excited.

As everyone takes in the marvellous view they all then turn right to see Eric the sickle sickle man standing on the railing on the edge of the ship as they suddenly stop celebrating. "CRUSH YOU DAMN PIRATES." He yells in frustration. "He's back. It's the sicko guy. Damn it. Thought swirly head was dead. Ah crap." Nami, Luffy, Sanji, Zoro and Kent say one after the other. "Yeah I did…" "SHUDUP!" Eric yells interrupting Luffy. "I DISPISE THE ENTIRE LOT OF YOU. THANKS TO YOUR MEDDELING I HAVE NO CHANCE OF OBTAINING DRAGONNITE THAT ALONE SEALS YOUR DOOM. ATLEAST I'LL HAVE THE SATISFACTION OF COLLECTING THE PRICES ON YOUR MISRABLE LITTLE HEADS. MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELVES AND SURRENDOR AT ONCE!" He shouts with his teeth grinding in anger.

Everyone is terrified at what he'll do next. "Now what? I hope somebody has a plan because if he starts using those wind slashes there's no telling what he'll apart." Sanji says fearfully as Erik laughs maniacally. "Ha ha ha, you should see the looks on your faces you can't lay a single finger on me." Eric says mockingly.

Kent then clenches his fist as he looks at Eric with an angered look. "They can't…but I can." He says. Everyone then turn their heads looking at him. "What the hell are you talking about boy?" Eric confused mixed with anger.

Kent then proceeds to get down on one knee while placing his hand on the ground. "YOU HAVE PISSED ME OFF FOR THE LAST TIME! SWIFT SWIFT…" He shouts as he readies himself. Worry and fear fills Eric's body. "Stop! Don't do anything!" He warns him in terror. "…JOLT!" Kent yells as he suddenly thrust forward at incredible speed with his fist out. Before he could even blink, Eric suddenly felt a fist on his stomach as blood spurts out his mouth and he flies off the railing and disappear into the water below.

"We'll he's not coming back anytime soon, since he can't swim." Kent says proudly as he chuckles. "Let's just focus on getting to the top in one piece (no pun intended)" He says. "Good job Kent." Nami says.

As everyone puts the moment aside they turn their attention on the path before them. "Whoa look how high we are, we're in the clouds!" Luffy exclaims while sitting on the figure head of the ship. As the ship continues to go up higher and higher it finally goes past the clouds until it reaches to the very peak of the mountain where the summit comes into view. "It's amazing we done it we reached the summit." Nami says.

The ship then ramps off the summit as it floats into air. After a few seconds the ship then quickly falls back down as it slides down on the other side of the mountain.

"To be the world's best swordsman."

"To find the all blue."

"To draw a map of the entire world."

"To become a brave warrior of the seas."

"To be the greatest explorer ever."

"I can see it. The greatest sea in the whole world. The Grand Line." Luffy says happily. "Somewhere out there the One Piece is waiting and we're going to find it. LET'S GO!" He says as the ship continues to zoom down the mountain as more amazing adventures await them in the Grand Line.
