Introduction

Selena Potter will begin her fifth year at Hogwarts soon but when the Dementors attack they unlock her memories of previous lives. After sending her Patronus at the Dementors she on instinct apparates to were Loki is and finds herself in the middle of a battle with Loki leading it. Now Loki and the Avengers are in the middle of the Wizarding World. And none know about Loki and Selena's connection…

Chapter .1.

Selena was fighting with Dudley wand in her hand as it starts to get chilly.

"Dudley come back your running right at it!" Selena yells

Selena felt more on the creeping chill. There was more then one.

"Dudley, keep your mouth shut! Whatever you do, keep your mouth shut", Selena yells, "Where's my wand – Lumos"

Her spell lights up her wand.

"Expecto Patronum", Selena says

Selena felt the Dementor making her relieve her memories and something clicks memories pour into her mind. She opened her eyes and shouted thinking of Loki.

"Expecto Patronum!" Selena yells

A Stag and a Snake come from her wand surprising her but she sends one at each Dementor. Once they were gone she thought of her memories of Loki and disappears from Surrey.

She appears in the middle of a battle. Selena couldn't believe it this army was in New York. She looks around for Loki and sees him flying in the sky and she knew he was leading this invasion. Because his eyes were blue instead of forest green.

Selena knew she needed a space where Loki could see her.

She sees people trying to escape.

"Protego!" Selena yells protecting the people as they hurry underground

She sees the Hulk taking on a lot of aliens she sends a powerful Bombarda at the aliens and Protego at the Hulk and the Hulk grins at her

"Get out of here", a man wearing an American Flag says

She recognises him as Steve Rodgers her brother Bucky Barnes best friend in a previous life

"No. Bombarda! Bombarda Maxima!" Selena says pointing the spell in the sky at the aliens and the blast kills many, "Protego!"

Selena runs over the debris.

"Bombarda Maxima!" Selena yells sending it flying at the aliens

She sends another shield spell at the Muggles. As her Bombarda sends dead aliens everywhere.

"Stupefy!" Selena says yelling at the alien and her spell knocks it out

Selena keeps running.

"Protego!" Selena says shielding more citizens

She holds the shield too everyone was away from the fight before hurrying on.

"Expelliarmus!" Selena says making the weapon in the aliens hands fly out

She sees a red-haired woman with the Steve wearing an American flag. She sees a creature about to hit them.

"Everte Statum! Protego!" Selena yells then yells the first spell knocking the alien back and places a shield.

She then does an arrow-shooting spell which takes out quite a few aliens

"Protego!" Selena says again protecting the woman and Steve

The shield protects them and Selena runs to them as they realises that something was protecting them.

"What are you?" the woman asks

"No time. Protego! Everte Statum! Expelliarmus! Stupfey! Petificus Totalus!" Selena says saving them from another attack

"Thanks", Steve says

"Can you take me up to Stark Tower? I need to get up high", Selena says urgently

The woman looks at Steve.

"I can handle this", he says

"Come with me. Stick close", she says and they begin to run

"What is your name?" Selena says sending more spells out

"Natasha Romanov. You?" Natasha asks

"Selena Potter", Selena says, "Petrificus Totalus!"

She hits another alien.

"Nice shot", Natasha says

"He is not dead. Just a full bond bind", Selena says, "Incarcerous!"

Ropes go out of her wand and binds another alien.

"Bombarda!" Selena says sending aliens flying

They make it to Stark Tower with shields Selena was able to produce. They make it too the higher floors and Selena goes to the edge looking for Loki.

She sees him he hadn't realised she was here.

"Loki!" Selena yells

Many of the Avengers see Selena at the edge of the roof shout something. Loki turns around and none saw his eyes but Selene they turned forest green. They watch as an alien knocks Selena of the roof but Loki catches her hand in a quick teleportation.

"Don't let go", Selena says

"Not planning on it", Loki says pulling Selena up and into his arms

"My Kaetia is that you?" Loki whispers in her ear

"Yes. I remember. I am Selena now. Stop this invasion Loki. I know you were controlled", Selena replies

"I love you. I am sorry", Loki says kissing her forehead

"I know and I still love you. You will have to catch me up", Selena says

"Loki stay right there. Miss Potter come here", Natasha says

"Natasha look at his eyes they are green I am sure you saw them blue before he was controlled like the rest. Now he can close that portal", Selena says

"My sceptre will close it", Loki says disappearing and reappearing with his sceptre

Selena sticks close to Loki as he approaches the Tesseract.

"We can close it", Natasha says into her earpiece, "Loki is willingly doing it"

Natasha listens for a minutes before her eyes widen.

"Not yet. A Nuke is heading for the city. Stark is putting it through the portal", Natasha says

"He better hurry", Loki says

The three of them watch the skies as Stark flies from the portal.

"Come on", Natasha says

Selena feels Loki push out his magic to give Stark more power.

"What was that?" Natasha asks

"Loki is giving his power to Mr Stark to help him through the portal and shield him", Selena explains too Natasha

"Captain says close it", Natasha says

"5 seconds", Loki says

They see Stark fall from the sky and Loki jabs the sceptre's into the place to turn it off. There was a huge bang from the machine and Loki shields Natasha, Erik, Selena and Himself with the last bit of magic he had left.

Selena sees all the aliens drop dead. Which was a huge relief. She sees a man with a head injury.

"Episkey, Tergeo", Selena says healing the wound at Doctor Selvig's head and clearing the blood away

"Selena", Loki slurring his words

Selena catches him.

"Rest. No one will harm you. But I won't be here", Selena says knowing she broke the law in her world

Loki was already passed out in her lap.

"Natasha promise me you won't aloud SHIELD to lock him up he was controlled. He is a victim", Selena says

"What happened to him?" Natasha asks

"He broke the control and it injured his mind it is healing as we speak. He also used most of his magic saving Stark and protecting us. Swear a vow on your life you won't let SHIELD lock him up. I won't be here to stop them", Selena says knowing she only had a few minutes left

"I promise", Natasha says

"Thor will be able to tell you Loki's eyes are forest green. Not blue like you saw. Look through your memories and you will find the answer", Selena says

"What can we do for him?" Natasha asks

"Let him rest. Don't wake him. He is basically in a healing coma from the magical trauma", Selena says

"Alright", Natasha says, "The team is on the way up"

"Loki I love you. Get well", Selena whispers kissing his forehead

The Avengers appear on the roof. Selena steps in front of Loki. Selena heals them with them looking at her in shock.

"It wasn't his fault Natasha will explain. Look after him", Selena says

That was when two cracks were heard everyone turns their weapons on the two men.

"Drop your weapons. They are here for me", Selena says straightening up

"Miss Selena Potter?" one asks

"Yes", Selena says

"You broke the Statue of Security here in New York and in your home in Surrey, England. We have been sent to arrest you. Hand over your wand and come peacefully", one says

"Here", Selena says handing him her wand

"Hands out", the other says

Selena does. And they put manacles on her hands and she winces at the tightness.

"Your are under arrest for breaking the Statue of Security here in New York at multiple times and in Surrey, England with the Patronus Charm and your illegal apparition just over an hour ago. You will be escorted to a holding cell and then deported to England to stand trial", the man says, "Any attempts to stop us will be met with force"

"Of course Aurors", Selena says

The two 'Aurors' grab her shackles and disappear with a crack.

"What the hell was that?" Stark asks

"I don't know. Lets get Loki into a bed and I will explain what she told me", Natasha says

"I'll help Selvig", Clint says not wanting to touch Loki

Thor comes and helps Natasha lift Loki. Tony groans about lending some room but he did. And they all meet at the table where Natasha told them what this 'Selena Potter' told her.

"My brothers eyes are forest green. They were blue on the carrier", Thor says

"JARVIS get pictures from the Carrier", Tony orders

They see the footage and see Loki's eyes in the cell were blue. They pull up Clint's and his eyes were blue instead of grey on the footage on the helicarrier.

"Son of a bitch. She was right", Tony says

"How did she know?" Clint asks

"Thor do you know her?" Bruce asks

"No I don't", Thor says

"What was she doing anyway? How did she kill those things?" Steve asks

Fury storms in.

"Where is Loki?" Fury asks

"Sleeping", Tony says

"Why isn't he locked up?" Fury asks

They explain this teen who turned up in the middle of the battle.

"She yelled his name he looked at her and an alien knocked her off the roof and he caught her within seconds. That is when he switched sides. They seemed very close", Natasha says

"What was her name?" Fury asks

"Selena Potter", Natasha says

"She had a stick on her", Steve says

"These two guys who took her said she broke the Statue of Security or something like that. In England not even 2 hours ago. How did she get here?" Tony asks

"She called them Aurors", Steve adds

Fury swore.

"Who were they?" Tony asks

"They were witches and wizards. They have their own society and laws", Fury says

"And one of them is this Statue?" Bruce asks

"The International Statute of Secrecy. It means that witches and wizards aren't allowed to use magic in front of us since we aren't magical. And there is an underage law no one under 17 is allowed to use magic outside of school", Fury says

"And she did both", Steve states

"Yes but I am sure in those laws that there is a clause that allows them to use magic in a dire situation and to defend themselves", Fury says

"We need to help this kid", Tony says

"I will try my contacts and see where they have taken her. Watch Loki I still don't trust him", Fury says leaving the room

"Drinks anyone?"

Three Days Later…

Loki woke with a splitting headache. He remembered everything leading up too him passing out. He had found his love again. He had lost count on how many times he had lost her. The first time she was a Princess of Alfheim and he had been courting her with her father the Kings approval and that off her family then she had been killed on a diplomatic mission as she was the Crown Princess. She had used a spell to make her soul keep being reborn so one day she could be with him. But it never worked out. She was cursed to always die.

He hadn't told anyone about her not his father or brother. His mother knew of course she always knew and now she was bound by an oath not to tell anyone.

Loki looked around the room and she wasn't in here. He gets up cautiously and leaves the room and sees the Avengers sitting eating. They all see his now forest green eyes.

"Sleeping beauty awakes", Tony jokes

"Where is Selena?" Loki asks

They all pale. Thor looks at his brother.

"She has been arrested", Thor says bluntly

"Thor!" Jane says hitting him

"Arrested why?" Loki asks

"She broke something called the Statue of Security", Natasha says

"There is a clause in there that she can get out off. By extenuating circumstances and it was. How long was I out?" Loki asks

"Three days", Bruce says, "Miss Potter said not to touch you that you were in a healing coma"

"I was. Now I need to find her", Loki says

"Well look who it is", Fury says walking in

"Security breach", Tony says

"Shut it Stark. You how do you know Miss Potter?" Fury asks Loki

"That is between her and me. Where is she?" Loki asks

"She has been transferred to the British Ministry of Magic and she is in a cell awaiting trial which will be tomorrow", Fury says

Loki growls, "I am leaving for London"

"You will not go alone. As it is the Ministry doesn't like Miss Potter or Albus Dumbledore", Fury says

"Albus is still alive?" Steve asks

"Yes. I am not even going to ask how you know him. But he is the most powerful wizard in Britain at the moment", Fury says

"Why don't this Ministry now don't like Miss Potter or Dumbledore?" Natasha asks

"Because the Ministry believes that Miss Potter and Albus are liars. Potter and Dumbledore are telling people Voldemort is back which is correct he is", Fury says

"Who is Voldemort?" Steve asks

"Wizarding version of Hitler", Fury says

Causing them all to shiver.

"Are they idiots?" Loki growls

"They could be. Here is the file on Miss Potter. I give you all permission to go to London and help in anyway you can as Albus is an old friend. Loki can go if you keep an eye on him", Fury says handing over a file

"I am going regardless", Loki growls

Fury just glares and leaves.

"JARVIS have my jet ready in 1 hour and book accommodation", Tony says

"Yes sir", JARVIS says

"And have Pepper have contracts fix this tower for everyone", Tony adds

"I will sir", JARVIS says

"So reindeer games who is Miss Potter too you?" Tony asks

"I am not telling just get your jet ready", Loki says

"Brother please tell us", Thor says

"No. You won't understand", Loki says looking at Thor and Jane

He wished he had what they did. But at the moment he didn't.

They all go to the airport and the plane talking about what had happened. Natasha pulls out Miss Potter's file.

"Apparently she was born on the 31st of July 1990. To James and Lily Potter nee Evans. They were targets of this Voldemort's so they went into hiding. Then they were betrayed and Voldemort killed James Potter first found in front of the stairs", Natasha says

"Suggesting he was protecting whoever was upstairs", Steve says

"Yes. Lily Potter was found in the nursey dead from the killing curse too and Selena was in her crib alive. Apparently Lily had sacrificed herself for her daughter", Natasha says

"Powerful magic sacrifice is", Loki says, "Then what?"

"Then Selena was sent to live with her Aunt. That is where SHIELD got the information. School photos and test scores", Natasha says showing them all

"She looks like she was abused", Tony says softly

Loki growls, "If they dared mistreat her I will kill them"

"Why put her there?" Clint asks

"It was because of blood wards according to what Fury got out of Dumbledore. As long as Selena was with her mothers blood relatives she was safe. The Death Eaters and Voldemort couldn't get to her", Natasha says

"What kind of name are Death Eaters?" Tony asks

"Follows of a being who doesn't fear death or maybe fears it", Bruce suggests

"There have been several attempts on her life since she started Hogwarts the School for Witchcraft and Wizardry", Natasha says

"Who names the school Hogwarts?" Tony asks

Loki glares at him, "Shut up before I do it"

"Anyway she found out in her third year about her godfather Sirius Black who was supposedly a murderer", Natasha says'

"I heard Fury talking about him. He was going to have Agents look for him", Clint says

"Well she found out the truth that Peter Pettigrew her father's other friend was the one to betray them. Pettigrew escaped and Sirius was going to be executed by Dementors kiss but he escaped and has been on the run even since", Natasha says

"Kiss? What are Dementors?" Tony asks
"They suck all the happiness out of you. When they kiss you they suck out your soul", Loki says

Everyone looked pale and wondered how Loki knew that.

"The last school year they had the Triwizard Tournament were Selena was entered not of her own free will", Natasha says

Loki freezes at hearing that. Selena had already died once to that blasted Tournament. She had been known as Carol Black then.

"Her fellow Hogwarts champion Cedric Diggory and her took the cup and was port-keyed to Voldemort where her fellow champion was killed by Peter Pettigrew her parents betrayer. That was when Voldemort came back. He used Selena's blood to come back and duelled her she managed to escape with some injuries. She risked everything to bring her fellow champions body back. And now the British Ministry refuses to admit he is back. According to Fury the Minister is an idiot that doesn't what the peaceful times to end and is being bribed to keep quiet that was what Fury's mole reported", Natasha says

"So what is Albus doing about it?" Steve asks

"Apparently Fury says Dumbledore has a secret organization who are trying to gather support and he wants us to join and help", Natasha says readying the last page of the report

"Already another mission and we just finished with New York", Tony says

"I am sorry I was controlled into attacking your city", Loki says sarcastically

"Controlled is still being argued", Tony says

"Well I was. If it wasn't for Selena I would have done more damage and more casualties", Loki says honestly

"How did she help you?" Thor asks, "You didn't even change for me"

"That I won't tell you. But just being there gave me the strength to break away. It caused damage that was why I was in a coma for three days damage must help. I still have a headache but nothing I can do about that", Loki says

"Maybe some pain killers?" Bruce suggests, "I got some"

"They won't work. I just need Selena", Loki says, "And sleep"

"Sleep this is a 7 hour flight", Tony says

They arrive in London at 9pm and the trial was not will 9am. So they got their rooms and got some sleep. All of Loki's dreams were nightmares of how his beloved was killed and the trauma of being tortured by the other. Luckily Loki never told the other about Selena protecting her always and he hoped this time she would stay be his side and gain her powers and inheritance back and finally be his wife…
