Well, here it is. My first Growing Up Creepie fanfiction. This takes place after the episode "Night of Fright." It ended in a cliffhanger, and I decided to continue it on.

The story centers around Melanie and Carla discovering Creepie's secret: raised by bugs. I like to think it the episode "Creepie Crawling" takes place before "Night of Fright." I like to think it happens like this: "Creepie Crawling," "Goth to Have a Better Friends," "Going for Brogue" and "Night of Fright." Watch them in that order. You won't regret it.

The next chapters talk about my headcanon and what happened to Creepie's real parents.

Stay tuned. ^_^

The moment Creepie entered the house was the minute it all started. She saw Melanie and Carla strung up in spiderwebs in the corner. In the same spot she was hanging from to practice her spiderweb spinning. The look in their eyes. The whole time Creepie stood there she'd forgotten why she was there. Her whole train of thought lost. And the next second the passed was the second she jumped into action.

Creepie leaped and held onto the spiderweb. Sticky. Aunt Rose was really determined with keeping them for her dinner. She tore up pieces and when she tore enough she and the two cocooned girls fell to the hardwood floor. Carla was the one who squirmed the most. Creepie didn't know why she and Melanie were in her house but after she frees them she'll interrogate them. Besides, these two have been through enough.

"Hold still." Creepie said, tearing shreds of spiderweb cocoon. She tore pieces and pieces but tearing it by hand would take too long. She needed a knife. "I'll be right back." she told the two girls. Melanie and Carla let out muffled screams as a response, and Creepie dashed into the kitchen. She looked in the drawer and pulled out the big kitchen knife. She ran back into the living room and hoisted the knife over her head. Melanie let out a muffled scream as though this was her end.

Creepie plunged the knife into the cocoon, not even bothering to wonder if she'd hit skin. Well, if she did, she would apologize for it. She sliced the knife and could easily remove more sticky spiderweb. With the girls squirming made it hard for the goth girl to carefully cut the cocoon without cutting them in the process. Creepie ordered them stay still while she worked. Melanie and Carla nodded, and Creepie continue with her work. When she'd cut enough, the blond and the brunette could move freely and they sat up, gasping lungfuls of air.

The first thing they did was blurt out questions that came out as incoherent stutters. Melanie and Carla talked over each other, making it hard for Creepie to understand them, or the very least know what was going on. Finally the goth girl had enough and yelled, "QUIET!" The two girls blinked in surprise.

"What are you two doing in my house?" Creepie demanded.

"Your house?" Carla spat. "B-but...this..."

"Why are you here?"

"The invitation Chris-Alice gave us said to go to 8 Locust Lane." Carla handed her the invitation. Creepie took the invitation and checked for the correct address. She saw it, and she with no doubt about saw an '8' written. It wasn't an '8' at all; it was Gnat. He must've stepped on the paper and somehow he made it look like an eight. Oh now she knew why. It was all a misunderstanding, and all because of a miswritten number.

"What did you two see?," asked Creepie.

"We didn't see anything." Carla replied. "We were chased around the house by this...this..."

"Bug bowl." Melanie interjected.

"Yeah." Carla said.

Bug bowl? The mealie worms! That's what they meant. But how did they end up strung up spiderwebs?

"How did you two end up there anyway?" Creepie then asked.

"We ran into the basement." Carla explained. "To hide from all the crazy stuff that was chasing us. And... And..."

"We saw this giant spider!" Melanie shouted. "It had all these eyes and big teeth and everything."

Aunt Rose. Creepie thought in resolve.

"What is going on?" Carla inquired.

Creepie closed her eyes. "I think it's time you know the truth." She opened her eyes and said, "You can come out know."

And that's when it happened. Thousands upon thousands of bugs crawled out from the walls, the floorboards, the ceiling. Melanie and Carla watched in horror. Among them was a green praying mantis and a mosquito who made their way to Creepie first. Melanie and Carla. Crept away when the bugs made their way toward them. They even had to get up on the sofa to keep from stepping on them, or the bugs crawling on them.

"Mom, Dad." Creepie said to the praying mantis and mosquito. "How could you let this happen?"

"We're sorry, honey," said Caroleena. "We thought they were your friends, so we let them in... Oh, Creepie we're really sorry. We didn't think how this would end."

"We didn't mean to let this happen, Creepella," said Vinnie, hovering over her. They apologized but it would take more than just an apology to get Creepie to forget this ever happened.

Creepie looked over at Melanie and Carla, whom she forgot were here. They looked at the floor with wide eyes. The goth was careless, but she didn't know they would end up here. She couldn't know everything. That was just unrealistic. Well, they were here and they were witnessing this surreal scenario. It was time they might as well know they real truth.

"Remember that story I told you one time?" Creepie asked them, trying to get their minds off this. "About a girl who was raised by bugs?"

Carla's eyes widened. Something inside her sparked. She thought back to that day in the cafeteria where she told her and Melanie a bizarre story. She didn't think it was real; it was absurd. Now all this craziness made sense.

"So you're..." Carla pointed at Creepie, as though hoping this were a nightmare and not the waking world. But the goth girl gave a tiny nod. Carla looked around the manor.

"What? What is she?" Melanie said. It irked Carla that she couldn't get there faster.

"She was raised by bugs!" Carla spat back. Realization finally dawned on Melanie and it all came pounding on her. She and Carla looked at Creepie and her family. Bugs off all kinds surrounded Creepie like she was their queen.

"You can control them?" Carla asked fearfully.

"No, not control," said Creepie. "More like they help me, I help them."

What did that mean? Looking at her now explained a lot of things. And it also explained Creepie's extensive knowledge on insects. It all made sense.

"Sonce you know now, I'm gonna need you both to swear you will never tell anyone about my family." Creepie said with authoritative.

"How can we not tell anyone?" Carla uttered.

"You better not." Creepie said. "Or I'm gonna feed you to Aunt Rose."

The giant spider they saw in the basement. She had a name?

A pair of flying inspects buzzed around Melanie and Carla for added emphasis. It was hard not to swat them and it only aggravated Creepie.

"Look, I'm gonna have my bug friends keep an eye on you and make sure you don't say anything to anyone." said Creepie. She stood up and approached them. "Do we have a deal?"

Between the buzzing and the fear coursing through them, Melanie and Carla watched the bugs that were flying around them and the rest that were on the floor. Carla spotted the praying mantis and the mosquito perched on Creepie's shoulders. Her "parents."

"We have a deal." Carla answered.
