Chapter 11

"Now class, we are on to the fascinating world of legal liability in business practices…" Allison listened to the professor drone on and on in her legal environment of business class, aka one of the most boring classes about patents, libel cases ect. Allison rested her head on her hand hoping that the next hour of her lecture would go by faster than the first, however that didn't seem likely.

She let her mind wander to the past three months, it feels like her summer went by in a blur. She was glad to get back in to school and away from the original drama that seemed to have died down a bit with their grief over the baby. She guessed the summer had been pretty nice compared to the months before hand. She and Elijah were able to get away from the city a few times. Allison had managed to convince him to take her rock climbing and cliff jumping and out on beach days a few towns over and away from the prying eyes of the supernatural community of New Orleans.

Francesca had taken control of the werewolves in the quarter, with moonstone rings that prevented them from changing, while weakening Klaus's power with every full moon. This fact pissed Allison off. She was a bitch. Klaus and Elijah had closed the doors to the compound shutting out the world, to deal with the loss of Klaus's daughter. The details of her death were still at a loss to Allison, all she knows was that the witches killed her, and apparently she was there. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't conjure up a specific image of the baby dying or the aftermath. Elijah had concluded that she must have blocked it out, it was too traumatizing of a scene to keep in memory.

Elijah… Allison smiled as she thought his name. He had taken over his brother's rule, worked hard to keep each member of the city at peace. This wore on him, he would be out all night, busy all day, never seemed to have enough time to spend with Allison unless they were out of the city. This saddened her, she wanted to be there for Elijah through his grief but it felt like he was pushing her away. Not wanting to talk to her, avoiding questions about what was going on in the city and details of what had happened last spring. It took a toll on her, but Allison was patient with him and the times they did spend together were amazing.

Hayley had returned to the bayou to be with her kind. Allison figured that the loss of her child must be too much to bear. She had also heard rumors that Cami and Marcel were still seeing each other. But Allison hadn't really spoken to her friends too much over the summer. All in all she spent most of it either alone, trying to bring her life back to some sense of normalcy, or doing normal things with Elijah.

They had been able to go on dates and even went on a weekend together to one of the many Mikealson properties. She was her happiest when she was able to have Elijah all to herself. She loved his undivided attention to be on her. He made her feel the most alive than she had in years.

Allison was brought out of her thoughts by people moving around her, she guessed the hour must have been up, comfirming as she glanced at her watch. She quickly gathered up her notebook which contained practically no notes from the days lecture and exited the room. Getting in the Mikealson's new black Buick, she made her way back to the compound. She optimistically hoped that Elijah would be there, even though he normally wasn't when she got out of her classes.

Sighing as she got out of the parked car, she entered the compound through one of the back entrances, blissfully unaware of the man in black following her with a camera. As Allison entered the main room of the compound, she heard a loud crash from what sounded like Klaus's room. She threw her backpack down and rushed up the stairs towards the sound of another crash.

As she approached the door, Allison could hear Klaus's voice, "It's been months Elijah." Allison's heart spiked at the sound of his name. "I have adhered to our plan, sit and do nothing, sell our grief." Klaus continued. Sell? Why would they need to sell their grief, she was sure that losing a child would bring the grief easily enough.

"Klaus?" Allison's voice squeaked as she pushed through the door. The brothers turned their gaze to the girl standing in the doorway. Neither of them said anything so Allison continued, "I heard a crash, and I um, just wanted to make sure everything was okay." The intent look on both of their faces made her shrink back slightly. Klaus looked at her like she was the enemy and Elijah looked like he wanted her anywhere but in that room. After few seconds a relaxed look washed over the hybrid's face a smile came to his lips.

"Well not really love, another full moon is upon us, another night of weakness as the moonlight rings steal away my strength." Klaus stated, his anger rising as he looked towards his brother. "The inertia is killing me, I need to act. I need to spill blood." Klaus stole a quick glance at Allison before continuing, "I need to avenge my daughter."

"You'll be pleased to know that I have located the last of the twelve rings forged with your blood." Elijah said with a controlled smile to his brother.

"Then its time." Klaus responded with a smirk.

"Klaus I'm worried about Hayley." Allison spoke up, remembering the visit she had weeks ago with her friend. "She looks terrible, I don't think she is handling everything in the right way."

"She looks well to me." Klaus retorted narrowing his eyes at the girl.

"Honestly she looks no better than you do brother." Elijah chimed in, seeing that Hayley's safety was important to Allison, it was important for him too, but he was just happy she had survived the witch's torments. "If you would treat each other as more than passing acquaintances, perhaps you could be of help."

"She won't talk to anyone, she's dealing with all of these demons alone." Allison pleaded. "I haven't seen her in weeks this time, she's never gone off for this long without seeing anyone."

Klaus shifted a glare towards her, "It is not my problem." Allison was being taken aback by his harsh words. She cared about Hayley and wanted her to be happy, and seeing the father of her dead child speak to ill towards her pissed her off.

Allison shot a glare back at him and turned to leave the room, "Well since you don't care I'm going to go find her, and make sure that she is all right." She then stalked out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

All of a sudden Elijah was in front of her. Her breath caught in her throat and she had to take a deep breath to regain herself. "Elijah, you scared me."

"My apologies, I would like to advice against wandering around the bayou looking for Hayley, there are lots of things out there." Allison was about to argue, but Elijah cut her off, "She will come back when she is ready. We just need to give her time." Allison knew that he was right but she missed her friend.

She nodded and sighed. "I just miss her."

"I know, I do too. What are your plans for the rest of the evening?" He asked as he brushed a piece of hair away from her face, emptying how her cheeks flushed under his touch.

"I was going to meet Davina for a bit, then nothing, why?" Allison responded.

"How about we go in to town for dinner." He suggested.

Allison smiled up at him. "I'd like that. I'll meet you back here at 8, okay?"

"That sounds good." Elijah said.

An hour later she found herself walking around the shops of New Orleans with her teenage friend. "Why are we going in here D?" Alison asked at the two girls approached an old records shop. Allison was already carrying a couple bags from the clothing stores her and Davina had already raided. Allison had stopped feeling bad about spending Klaus's money a while ago, she also loved maxing out his credit lines whenever she was pissed off at him. She smiled as she remembered a time in the middle of the summer when Klaus wouldn't let her go out for the night, claiming "it was dangerous", so she went online and ordered personalized kayaks for everyone in the family, hoping to convince them all to go on a kayak trip to life their spirits. But the gesture didn't resonate and the kayaks still sit in one of the storage rooms in the boxes they arrived in.

"I'm just picking up something for a friend." Davina responded cryptically making Allison turn to look at her curiously as they entered the shop.

Davina walked up to the shop owner and greeted him. "Got your order right here Davina. You know some day you're gonna have to give me low down on why you're so hooked on ancient Icelandic folk music." Allison shot Davina a confused look wondering why her friend was buying such weird and outdated music.

"It's for a friend." Davina answered with a smile. Allison wondered what friend of Davina's would want ancient Icelandic folk music. Davina didn't have many friends especially since she left her coven and she couldn't think of anyone that old school Davina would be hanging out with.

"I sure hope so." Joe responded. Allison pushed her thoughts to the back of her mind.

Allison turned and began browsing the rest of the shop as Davina finished up her conversation, there was an incredibly handsome boy, and he couldn't be more than 18 years old. He smiled at Allison and turned to look at Davina who he threw a smirk to and exited the shop. Allison wondered who he has since she hadn't seen him in the quarter before. Granted, he could have been a tourist, New Orleans surely got enough of those. As soon as the boy left Oliver pushed his way in to the shop and approached the two girls. Allison narrowed her eyes at the werewolf who was part of the pack under Francesca's rule. She had never understood why Oliver would sell out Francesca and now the witch that was making his pack moonlight rings. She remembered the fun loving werewolf from all that time ago, when Hayley had first thrown that party to meet her cursed pack.

"Hey there cuties." He said, throwing a cocky smirk their way.

"Don't call us that." Davina retorted making her friend smile. Allison took in the rugged looking werewolf, rolling her eyes at his comment.

"So I heard that you ditched your coven." Oliver said to Davina, arms crossing slightly across his chest. When she didn't respond, he continued, "That's too bad. That other harvest girl Cassie, she's been super helpful to all us wolves."

"She's making you moonlight rings Oliver, I wouldn't call that helpful, I'd call that an alliance." Davina countered.

"You can call it whatever you want, but as long as we don't have to turn on a full moon anymore, it works for me." Oliver justified.

"Yeah but at what price." Allison said with a glare. "You're basically selling out to be the guard dog to some witch who would happily risk your life to benefit herself."

Oliver's gaze shifted to Allison and he narrowed his eyes in amusement at the girl's comment. "It's not selling out. At least I have some integrity"

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Allison never had anyone so blatantly question her integrity. She always tried to be honest when it counted, everyone told some white lies but morally, she was pretty on track.

Oliver scoffed. "You're screwing around with originals, shacking up with them. I'm not the one whoring myself out." Allison's jaw dropped and an angry blush appeared on her face at his blatant comment.

"Fuck you." Allison glared at the werewolf who wore a smug look on his face.

Allison saw Oliver's eyes drag head to toe down her body and back up before he met her gaze again, eyebrows raised, and an even bigger smirk plastered on his face. "As appealing as that offer may be, I don't want Elijah and Klaus' seconds."

"One that was far from an offer, and two, not that I should need to justify your grossly misinformed accusation," Allison took a step toward Oliver not wanting to back down. "But I have not, nor ever will, as you so eloquently put it, whore myself out to anyone, let alone Klaus. As for Elijah if you can't see that we are actually in a relationship, you're even more stupid than Francesca is."

"How's being Elijah's little pet treating you? You know that's all humans ever are to vampires right? Pets." Oliver rebutted.

Allison tried not to let his words faze her, but she was done with this conversation. Oliver made it a point to thoroughly embarrass and offend her and she wasn't going to stand here and take it any longer. "Come on D, let's go." Allison grabbed her hand as the witch nodded and followed her friend out of the shop.

"Wow, he's really turned in to a dick." Allison commented as she followed her friend to a nearby coffee shop. The two girls entered quickly ordered their drinks and sat at a table by the window.

"So how's everything going with the witches?" Allison asked as she sipped on her chai latte.

"Oh you know they pretty much hate me. They kept trying to control me after I came back. I pretty much told them to go hell." Allison laughed at this, her friend sure had some fire in her. "I'm back in school too."

"Yeah me too, I think I'm trying to desperately grasp at our last sense of normalcy in this life." Allison commented.

"You're right, but hey you can't escape the supernatural." Davina responded. "Speaking of, how are you and Elijah?" Davina asked reluctantly. The original wasn't one of her favorite vampires.

Allison looked out the window pondering how to respond. "I mean he says he cares about me whenever we actually talk about it. But I never really see him anymore. I'm in school. He's busy all day, then when he is in the compound at night, it's only for a few hours, then he leaves." Davina looked concerned for her friend. She wanted her to be happy. "Like whenever we … you know…" Allison said blushing. "He just stays until I fall asleep then leaves to do whatever business he has to do in the city. I never get to wake up with him next me, it's like we can't have a normal relationship. We are going to dinner though tonight so I guess that's a good sign, I need to talk to him about some of this stuff."

"Yeah he trying to regulate everything in the city must be straining on you guys. Allison you ever think about just getting out of all this? Cutting off supernatural ties?" Davina said trying to comfort her friend, but worried about her safety. It was no secret that Davina didn't exactly approve of how close Allison and Elijah were, she had seen the kind of damage they can do to somebody and even though Elijah isn't Klaus, he would do nearly anything for his brother.

"Come on D, don't start this again. I know they haven't been the best to you, but I can't help how I feel about Elijah." Allison said with a sigh. She had been trying to warm her friend up to the idea of her and Elijah for a while, but Allison understood the animosity Davina had for the original brothers.

"Have you seen Klaus?" Davina questioned slightly changing the subject.

"Yeah he's hiding away, plotting, planning, I don't really know. All I do know is, he's grieving the loss of his baby." Allison explained, thinking about how Klaus had been holed up in his bedroom or his art studio for months.

"The city's been going crazy, I've heard that Francesca is getting stir crazy waiting for him to make a move." Davina continued.

"If you ask me, I'm pretty sure that's what he wants." Allison theorized.

Davina's phone buzzed and she pulled it out of her pocket to look at the screen. "Sorry to cut this short Allie, but I have to go." She said standing up. Allison just nodded and smiled at her. "I'll text you, we need to do this again soon, and it's nice to have a break from everything."

"Yeah for sure!" Allison responded watching Davina walk out of the coffee shop. Allison finished her drink and stood up and grabbed her shopping bags to make her way back to her car, which was parked a few blocks down, near one of the first shops her and Davina had gone to.

Allison slammed the trunk to the car closed, her shopping bags tucked safely inside. As she rounded the car to get in the driver's seat she heard a voice.

"Excuse me miss?" A man said from behind her, making Allison turn around. "I'm sorry to bother you, but do you have a phone I could borrow, I'm trying to reach my wife to see what shop she ended up at with my daughter. Mine just ran out of battery."

"Oh yeah of course." Allison said happily, pulling her phone out of her pocket and pulling up the dial screen. Being from the Midwest, Allison was way too trusting. She was a good person so she would help someone in need. "Here ya go." Allison held out her arm for the man to take her phone. She suddenly felt a pin prick on her wrist and her vision started blurring. Allison panicked and tried to look around for a way to escape, but it was useless and her vision turned black and she lost consciousness and fell in to the arms of the man who pulled her unconscious body in to the approaching black van.

Allison's head pounded as her mind regained consciousness. It took her a moment before she could fully take in her surroundings. When her eyes finally adjusted to the dark room, she started to make out the shapes. She was in an empty room, it wasn't unkempt by any means, and it just looked like it had been cleared out. She could tell that there was expensive wallpaper lining the room, and immediately wondered whose house she was in.

She sat in a wooden chair with a wide back rest that her arms were tied tightly behind, causing strain in her shoulders. Her legs were tied to the legs of the chair a little more than shoulder width apart. She knew better than to scream for help, especially in what seemed like a large house, she doubted anyone that would help her could hear.

Allison looked down at herself seeing to see her navy blue t shirt dress covered in patches of dirt, she had some scrapes right above her knee but she couldn't see past there as her knees were bent down to the legs of the chair. Allison sighed and tried to remain as calm as she could in her current predicament.

After what felt like hours, but was really only a few minutes, the door opened. Allison squinted her eyes at the sudden light that entered the room. She noticed two large dark figures enter the room wheeling in a cart with a large desktop on the top. They opened the curtains in front of her before they exited the room. Moonlight flooded the area and Allison could finally see the large room. She looked out the window and though there wasn't anything distinguishing where she was, she could tell it was just before midnight from how high the moon was.

She had been out for a long time, and briefly wondered what kind of drug they gave her to do that, before her mind was brought back to how much she missed that night. She was supposed to meet Elijah, surely he would notice that she was gone. He would know something was wrong and he and Klaus would find her. They had to, it was her only hope.

Allison heard the door open again and heels clicked against the hardwood floors. Allison tilted her head up as the woman came in to view. Francesca Guerra stood in front of her.

"Of course." Allison sighed to herself wondering why she hadn't thought of her before.

"Allison. Pleasure to see you again." Francesca greeted.

Allison scowled as she replied. "Wish I could say the same." The woman then lifted her hand and backhanded Allison, she could already feel a bruise forming and she turned her head back to glare at Francesca. "Sorry Hun, but it's all about the image." She said as she raised her hand and struck her again, this time leaving a long scratch across her cheek. Allison recoiled away from her as she raised her arm up again, but this time it was to grab her chin and force Allison to look at her. "You see supernatural situations don't turn out so well for humans when there's no originals around to shield you." The thought of being utterly helpless brought tears to Allison's eyes, which just made Francesca smile and turn away from her.

"What's with the computer?" Allison questioned against her better judgement.

"You'll see in a bit, first I have to make sure your originals get a message." With that, Francesca walked out of the room.

Allison sat and waited until many more people entered the room. Two large men stood behind Allison on either side. Francesca stepped in front of the risen webcam as other wolves turned on the computer. Bodies blocked her view of it, so Allison couldn't see what they were doing.

"Are you sure they got the deep web address?" Francesca asked one of her lackeys.

"We found the messenger with his head torn off so I'm pretty sure they got it." One of the men affirmed.

This made Allison wonder what they were doing. What they wanted from the originals, wasn't Francesca scared of them? Why was she purposely antagonizing them? The men moved out of camera view except for the two standing behind Allison. Francesca was the only one left standing in front of her. She strained her neck to see around her and onto the computer screen. It didn't looked like a normal web browser on the screen, Allison remembered them talking about a deep web address and she wondered if that was what they were on. Suddenly what looked like a video chat screen opened up? It was all black except for a small box in the bottom corner of the screen which showed a view of Allison blocked by Francesca.

Klaus and Elijah's faces suddenly popped up on the screen. Allison felt relief wash over her body at seeing them. Francesca shifted the camera so they could only see her face. She had stepped to the side so Allison now had full view of the screen.

"Francesca." Elijah's voice floated through the computer speakers. "Where is she?" His voice turning dark as he glared through the computer.

"She's fine. For now." Francesca answered.

"That is not what he asked." Klaus growled.

"I assume you orchestrated this whole charade as a means to make demands from my brother and I, so go on with it. What do you want?" Elijah asked.

"You out of this town." Francesca said demandingly.

"And what makes you think we will agree to that?" Klaus asked almost humored by her outlandish demand.

She shifted the camera back to its original position on to Allison. She could see herself on the screen and she had to admit, she looked pretty rough. The scratch had bled a bit down her face which made it look a lot worse than it was. Her eye was swollen and red, a small bruise beginning to form. Allison could see Elijah's faces shift to his normal passive demeanor in to pure unfiltered anger. Allison gave him a small smile to try and comfort him, but it didn't seem to do much.

"If you so much as touch her…" Elijah started but was cut off.

"You see this is what will get you to leave town. As I have told Allison, supernatural business is no place for humans, they get caught in cross fire and are the perfect pawns to sacrifice to get to the king." Francesca said smirking. "How nice that I have the only human that seems to mean something to you originals in my house, a place that no vampire can enter without permission, including the two of you." Francesca walked next to Allison and crouched down to her level, "You see, I will guarantee pretty little Allison's safe existence free from the supernatural." She ran a hand down her cheek to her neck, making Allison turn her head away from the woman. "The only thing you two have to do is take yourselves to a different city and build an empire there, not here."

"You think that you can intimidate us with this?" Klaus said looking amused. "Nice try." With that, the screen went black. Klaus had turned off their monitor.

Francesca turned and narrowed her eyes at Allison, "That was the wrong choice." She then turned to the two men that stood behind Allison. "Take her to the bathroom, give her minimal water, and tie her up." Francesca's head tilted to an out of place beam above her that stretched across the length of the room. "Keep the camera on and interrogate her. Elijah will surely come back to check on her if there is still a feed. Put on a good show, really persuade them."

The men nodded as Francesca exited the room. One of the men worked on hanging roped from the ceiling and moving around the computer so the camera was focused on the new location. The other man reached down and untied both of her feet along with her hand. He met her eyes and narrowed his at her. "Behave. There's nowhere to run." He then proceeded to grab her arm roughly and pull her out of the chair. He walked to a door on the east wall and led her in to the bathroom.

He then crossed his arms and stood in the doorway watching her. "Can I have a little privacy?" She asked, crossing her arms.

The man laughed and shook his head. "Unless you want to wait another 12 hours to go to the bathroom again, I suggest you appreciate what is given to you." The man growled.

Allison sighed in resignation and pulled her underwear down and sat on the toilet. She made sure to move her dress so she wasn't showing anything to the werewolf who was watching her intently. When she finished, the werewolf handed her a small glass of water, which she took gratefully and finished in two gulps. Her throat was still incredibly dry and she felt thoroughly dehydrated. "Can I have some more?" She asked in a small voice, trying to give him the best innocent puppy look she had.

The man smirked and pulled the cup out of her hands. "Nice try sweetheart." He then grabbed her arm and pulled her back to where the man was holding the end of a rope that was draped over the high beam. Allison struggled against the man's hold, remembering what Francesca said about interrogating her.

Her struggles were futile as ropes were tied around her wrists and her arms were pulled up a straining amount above her head. She had to stand on the tips of her toes to alleviate the pain caused by the strenuous position. The men stepped back and looked at their handy work as the human struggled against her binds. One of the men turned to another part of the room to find something while the other came to stand in front to Allison.

He grabbed her chin in his hands in a painful grip and forced her to look at him. "Now, we can do this the easy way, and you can give me all the information I want to know about the Mikealson's. Or we can do this the hard way, which will end in a drastically more painful way." Allison's heart spiked as fear for her life came forward. Everyone had warned her about this, a pawn being used to get to the Mikealson's. When she didn't say anything the man smiled. "The hard way it is."

The second man then came forward and held a knife up so she could see. The first man stepped back allowing the other to have his fun with her while he restarted the stream to the original's computer. As soon as they were back online Klaus and Elijah's faces appeared back on the screen. Their eyes narrowed as they took in the new position Allison was now in.

"Perfect. The best way to do this is with an audience." The first man said as he waved in to the camera and moved to stand behind Allison. He brushed the hair to one side of her head and brought his lips next to her ear. "Tell me Allie, has anyone besides yourself or the original family been in the compound?" Allison narrowed her eyes at the question, but didn't say anything.

After a moment of silence, the second man brought his fist that wasn't holding the knife back and collided it with her abdomen. The breath was torn out of her and she couched trying to recover from the painful blow. "I don't know. I don't really pay attention, I just go to class and hang out in the quarter. I barely see anyone in the compound." Allison rushed out between struggled breaths. Technically that isn't a lie.

"Wrong answer." The second man once again brought his fist back and back handed her, hitting the same spot that Francesca had before. Tears came forward in Allison's eyes as the pain erupted behind them. She squeezed her eyes closed tight, trying to breathe through the unfamiliar pain.

Klaus' voice made her force her eyes back open as it floated through the screen. "If you lay another hand on her, I will reach down your throat and tear your intestines out, slowly and painfully." The hybrid growled.

Both of the men laughed and ignored the hybrid. "You seem to have the both of them wrapped around your little finger." He reached up to where her hands were bound by the ropes and snapped her pinky finger. Allison screamed and her legs gave out causing her body weight to pull painfully on her shoulders. She faintly heard two growls come through the computer screen accompanied by what sounded like a chair smashing. When Allison was finally able to get her footing again, she looked towards the screen. Both originals held harsh and murderous glares on their face as they tried to keep their tempers under control.

The second man then started walking around her predatorily. "What I can't seem to understand is how a simple human seems to weasel her way in to the hearts of the most notorious monsters to walk the planet." The man came to stand in front of Allison once again. "I mean you are pretty nice to look at, maybe that's what it is. They keep you around as some kind of sex and blood toy?" Allison glared at his words knowing they weren't true. "It's sick" The werewolf growled.

"Not as sick as you kidnapping and tying up an innocent girl." Allison retorted before she could hold her tongue.

The first man that stood behind her laughed. "Maybe it's her sharp tongue that keeps them interested. This one's sure got a mouth on her."

"No man that can't be it." The second man mused. He then stepped even closer to Allison and grabbed the neckline of her shirt. She shot him a confused look which turned fearful as he held the knife up next to her face. "Hold still sweetheart, wouldn't want to cut up that lovely body before we get a chance to see it." The color drained from Allison's face as she took in what she was saying. From the computer she could hear Elijah growl. He then brought the knife to the neckline of her dress and proceeded to cut it away from her body.

When Allison realized exactly what he was doing she started struggling, trying to get him to stop before he completely shredded the only thing keeping her decent. "Please stop." Allison whimpered as the man pulled her dress from behind her and it fell from her body. Allison hung her head in shame at being exposed to the two people torturing her.

The first man laughed and came to stand in front of her next to the other man. Both of their eyes were shamelessly running up and down Allison's body. She was glad in only a navy blue bralette that was partially see through and lace bikini style navy panties. A blush spread across her entire body and she tried to pull her hands down to cover herself, but the struggle didn't do anything except entertain the two werewolves in the room.

The man with the knife moved to set it on some other table in the room while the first man walked up to the camera to address the two originals. "I get it now. She is one hot piece of ass." The werewolf laughed in to the computer. Allison glared at him as he spoke of her as nothing more than a piece of meat.

"I will kill you." Elijah's voice was even, it didn't even sound like a threat, more so a statement, which made it all the more threatening.

The second man had ridden himself of the knife and came to stand beside the first. He laughed at Elijah's words. "You better hope she talks. Before we have to find more creative ways to break her. Ones that I will turn this camera off for." He chuckled darkly.

Allison heard Klaus' snarl at this threat. The first man went to open a beer and sit in the chair that Allison had once been bound to. He crossed his leg over his knee and looked at his partner. "Well, keep at it. She'll talk eventually."

The second man nodded and shot one more smirk at the originals who sat glaring at the screen. He then turned back to Allison and approached her. She leaned away from his as much as her bondage would allow. "I don't know anything, you can stop now." Allison glared.

"Tell me one thing you have learned about the Mikealson family and maybe I'll think about it." The man laughed.

Allison frowned and looked at the computer screen in front of her. Elijah's worried and angry face was the only thing she could see. The only thing she could focus on if she was going to get out of this alive. "Okay." Allison sighed in resignation. The man's eyebrows shot up waiting for her to continue. "A couple weeks ago, I and Elijah were talking over brunch." She paused and took a deep breath.

"Continue." The man urged.

"And I found out that his new favorite way to eat waffles is with banana, blueberries, whipped cream and strawberry syrup." Allison forced a smug smile to come to her face as she gave her interrogators a useless fact about the original vampire. Allison looked towards the screen as Klaus chuckled and she saw a small smile come to Elijah's face. She tried to return one, but what cut off by a fist hitting her face and splitting her lip.

She barely had time to recoil from the first punch before another one landed on her rib cage fracturing multiple ribs. Allison's breathing became ragged as she tried not to cry out from the pain they were inflicting on her. Allison spit the blood out of her mouth and mover her eyes to glare at the werewolf. "What? That's all you got?" The werewolf growled and she could tell that she was pissing him off. He proceeded to land blows all over her body until there were tears running down her cheeks and she could barely take a breath without causing some sort of pain to shoot through her body.

The first man had finished his beer and moved to grab the knife and take his fellow werewolf's spot. Allison spit more blood out of her mouth and on to the expensive carpet as she addressed the man. "Wow, two werewolves just to interrogate little old me?"

The man growled and moved behind. He wrapped his arm around her torso pulling her back against him, causing even more strain in her arms. She groaned at the pain. "Enough of this bull shit." He placed the knife against Allison's neck and pressed down slightly, not enough to break the skin, but enough to remind Allison that it was there. "Tell me what Klaus is planning."

"I don't know." Allison started but cut off when the knife pressed deeper in to her neck, leaving a small cut. "Fine. Klaus has been painting nonstop over the summer. Some of his paintings are areas around the city. I've seen the cathedral, one of the tombs in the cemetery, and the park on 8th and highland. I'm sure whatever he's planning, there's clues there." Allison lied through her teeth, happy that her heartbeat was already irregular from the beating she had taken. The first man pulled the knife away from her neck and nodded to the second. They both exchanged a look and moved to exit the room, leaving Allison alone with the original brothers staring at her.

She smiled at them the best she could. "So guys I know this isn't really the best time, but those kayaks I ordered are still sitting in storage, and I'm in desperate need for a relaxing day on the water." Klaus laughed at her comment while Elijah simply looked at her with a sad expression on his face. "Come on Elijah, when I get out of this we are going, okay?"

His eyes snapped to the camera and it felt like he was looking right at her. She would give anything for him to be in the room with her right at that moment. Elijah gave her a small smile. "Anything you want Allison." She flashed her teeth at him, trying to show him that she was okay. He just needed to hurry up with whatever plan they had to get her out of here.

"You're coming to get me right?" Allison asked once again trying to pull out of the ropes around her wrists, but she stopped when she hit her broken pinky one too many times.

"Working on it Allie, bureaucracy isn't the fastest moving mechanism. Just hang in there. Kay, love?" Klaus assured her. Allison nodded at his words. Klaus suddenly stood out of the chair he was sitting him. "Why don't I see if I can get things moving a little faster?"

Elijah nodded at his brother and watched him exit the room. His gaze then turned towards Allison. "I will get you out of this." He vowed.

Allison nodded. "I know you will."

Hours had passed and it felt like an eternity. Elijah had stayed and talked to her about mundane things, keeping her attention off of the painful situation she was in. Suddenly Allison heard voices outside of the door. It flew open and in walked Francesca and Father Kieran. He gasped as he took in the gory scene in front of him.

"What is the meaning of this?" Father K walked forward towards Allison meaning to help her down and make sure she isn't too badly hurt.

But he was stopped by Francesca's hand. "I can't let you do that Father. She is our leverage to get the originals out of town."

"You think they are just going to leave over some human? They are over a thousand years old. There is no way they are going to fall for that." Father K tried to argue.

"She had information on them!" The werewolf argued.

"She isn't even on vervain Francesca. They wouldn't trust her with any secret if her mind could be penetrated. You should have consulted with me before this." The priest spoke through clenched teeth. He had known Allison since she befriended Cami when she moved to the city. She was a good and innocent girl and did not deserve to be taken hostage to get at thousand year old creatures.

"I don't have to consult with you on anything." Francesca growled before speeding forward and gripping him by the neck. "You see it is you who should respect me, and now you will die because of that lack of respect."

"No!" Allison shouted as Francesca grabbed the knife from off of a table and brought it to the priest's neck, puncturing his artery. Allison looked on in horror as tears came forward in her eyes. The priest dropped to the ground in front of Allison, gasping for air. "No Father K. I'm so so sorry." He looked up at her with the last bit of strength he had and drew in a breath.

"Tell Cami, love her." The priest got out through ragged breath.

Allison nodded rapidly at his words. "I promise I will. She loves you too, this city loves you Father K. I'm so sorry." The priest had taken his last breath as Allison finished her words and sobs came forward as she cried.

"This is what happens to those who don't obey." Francesca came to stand in front of Allison and took her bruised face in to her hands. "It will happen to you." Allison closed her eyes causing more tears to escape from them. After another moment Francesca exited the room, leaving the priest's body behind. When Allison looked back towards the computer screen, Elijah was gone. A sob bubbled in her throat as she thought of how much she needed him. Allison didn't know how long she spent crying but her head turned up when the door opened.

She nearly cried out in excitement as Elijah appeared in the doorway. He was slightly covered in blood and his clothes were disheveled, but Allison didn't care. He could have walked in in a bunny suit and she would have still thought it was the best sight she could see. "Elijah." Allison exhaled. The vampire took in the room. His eyes landed on the priest who laid in a pool of his own blood, not breathing. He frowned at the sight knowing that Allison cared about him.

Elijah quickly made his way in to the center of the room where Allison was bound. She shot a smile at him as he reached up and tore apart the ropes, careful to avoid her damaged pinky finger. He slowly guided her arms down knowing how sore her shoulders must be. She whimpered slightly at the pain, and the noise broke Elijah's heart. He hated that he was the reason she was taken and tortured. He reached down and lifted her up behind her knees with his other arm.

Even though her sore muscles protested she lifted her arms up and wrapped them around his neck and buried her head in to his chest. She finally felt safe, protected. His arms held her delicately to his chest. "I'm sorry I missed our dinner." Allison said to him in a small voice.

Elijah looked down at her wondering how this girl would feel the need to apologize for what happened to her. "It is not your fault."

"I should be more careful and not get kidnapped." Allison added with a hint of humor. Elijah sighed and smiled down at her, thankful that he had her safe in his arms. "Can we go home?"

"Of course Allison." Elijah then slowly walked her out of the mansion past the various dead bodies of the werewolves. She recognized the two that had tortured her and noticed that they were severely more damaged, almost torn apart. Once they were out the front door, Elijah sped to the compound. Allison winced slightly at the pain in her ribs from the movement, but tried not to let it bother her. She focused her mind on the fact that she was safe, that none of those werewolves would ever hurt her again.

When they finally stopped, she let out a breath. "You know I that method of transportation."

"My apologies Allison, next time I come to your rescue I will be sure to bring a vehicle." Elijah joked, making her smile. He then entered the compound and made his way to one of the living rooms on the first floor. He set her gently on the couch and pulled open the jacket that was wrapped around her to look at the damage those wolves had done.

His lips pulled down in to a frown as he saw the black and blue spots that covered her abdomen. He could see the cracked ribs on her left side pushing through her skin in directions they shouldn't. "I am so sorry Allison."

She frowned at the distress on Elijah's face. "Hey." He looked at her bruised face, blood still coming out of her cheek and lip wound, as well as the small cut on her neck. "I'll be fine, just heal me up, and I'll be running around here good as new." She forced herself to smile through the pain she felt.

He brought his hand up to stroke her cheek that wasn't damaged. "What did I do to deserve you?" Elijah mused.

"You threw two hundred dollars on Cami's bar." Allison laughed, but it was cut short as the pain from her fractured ribs washed through her body.

Elijah smiled at the memory of his first encounter with the human in front of him. He looked at her for a moment with all the love he could manage before he pulled his hand away and moved it to feel her ribs, so he would know how to set them to heal properly. She winced at the pressure. "I am sorry Allison, but we need these to heal properly." She nodded at him and squeezed her eyes shut trying to block out the additional pain. His fingers trailed over both sides of her rib cage making sure nothing else was damage. "Can you take a really deep breath for me? I know it will hurt but as big as you can." Allison did as she instructed but she could only manage so much before the pain cut her inhale short. She let out a small whimper. "That's good Allison. Now let me see your finger." She had almost forgotten the pain of the broken bone in her pinky, her other injuries were making all the pain blend together. She followed Elijah's instruction and lifted her hand to him. She looked away as her pinky was bent in the opposite direction it should have been. Elijah's jaw set harshly. "I should have made their deaths more painful."

"It doesn't matter now. I'm just glad to be back, safe with you." Allison tried to calm him down. The men who did this to her already paid with their lives, she just wanted to forget about what happened and move on.

Elijah nodded at her words and let go of her hand. He pulled away from her and stood up from his kneeling position next to her. He went over to the bar and grabbed an empty glass off of one of the shelves behind it. Brining his hand to his mouth, he bit in to his palm and squeezed a significant amount of blood in to the glass. He brought it over to her and handed the glass to her good hand. "Okay, this is going to hurt, but my blood will have you all healed in a few minutes, and then no more pain." Elijah smiled to assure her.

Allison nodded at his and handed him her damaged hand. "Let's get it over with." Elijah nodded and quickly reset the bone in her finger. Allison let out a small scream at the pain. "Fuck that hurts." Elijah placed his other hand along her two broken ribs and used his fingers to push the bones in to place. Allison winced again at the pain, but used the last bit of strength she had to bring the cup to her lips and drink its contents. Allison nearly moaned as the taste entered her mouth. She hadn't understood why she as a human could even stomach, let alone feel pleasure from drinking Elijah's blood. But every time he had healed her, her body felt like it was humming with strength and every one of her nerves was on end.

Allison let out a small whimper as she wanted nothing more than her body to heal. "Finish all of it Allison. There's quite a bit to heal." She obliged and finished the rest of the blood. Elijah held his hands in a vice like grip for a couple more minutes as she felt the bones repair themselves. He watched as the swelling bruises and cuts on her face and neck slowly disappeared.

When the pain had finally left Allison's body, she sat up and flung her arms around Elijah's neck and pressed her lips to his. "Thank you. I was so scared." She whispered to him after a few seconds of kissing. She clung to him like her life depended on it.

"I see you've made it home in one piece, barely." Klaus's voice carried in to the room. Allison pulled away from Elijah and moved to stand up. Elijah followed suit.

"We're you worried Nik?" Allison asked looking up at him smirking, feeling more like herself again now that she was back in safety of the compound and healed.

"I was merely annoyed by how you were dumb enough to let yourself get kidnapped." Klaus retorted making Allison glare at him. She knew that he was just putting up a wall, he did care about Allison's safety. He had to admit he would have missed her witty personality.

"Niklaus." Elijah said in warning tone.

"Relax 'Lijah." Klaus said throwing his arm around Allison's shoulder's in a half hug and looking down at her. "I'm glad you're okay love." Allison smiled at his kindness, something that he rarely ever showed. Allison turned and hugged his torso, silently thanking him. He reciprocated for a few seconds then pulled away. The two brothers shared a look that Allison couldn't decipher, before Klaus turned and exited the room.

"Let's get you to bed." Elijah said as Allison yawned.

"Yeah." Allison agreed and made her way to the stairs. Once they entered the room, Allison pulled off Elijah's jacket and grabbed one of her fuzzy robes and covered her body. "What happened to Francesca?" Allison wondered, not remembering seeing her among the bodies as her and Elijah left the house.

"I let Hayley deal with her. As you know she is partly to blame for her child's death." Elijah responded.

"Yeah of course. You saw Hayley? Is she okay?" Allison wondered about her friend.

"Yes, she heard you were in danger and agreed to work with Klaus in order to get some retribution for her child." Elijah explained. Allison nodded thanking Elijah for the information and happy that Hayley and Klaus were on speaking terms again. Maybe she would see more of her friend around the compound.

"Can you be here when I get out of the shower?" She asked looking away from him, not wanting to sound like she was clinging on to him, but the kidnapping really did freak her out more than she wanted to let on.

"Of course. I need to talk to my brother but I will be back in ten minutes." Elijah responded, stroking Allison's cheek with his thumb.

"Promise?" Allison asked.

"You have my word." Elijah affirmed with deep sincerity. He placed a soft kiss on Allison's lips and exited the room.

Allison quickly stripped off her clothes and got in the shower. She quietly let a few tears fall as she replayed how helpless she felt being in Francesca's grasp, being abused by her werewolf lackeys. She scrubbed her body trying to get the feeling of their hands off of her. She felt like she could still feel the ropes digging in to her wrists. Allison slid down the shower wall and wrapped her arms around her legs, burying her head in her knees and let the water hit her. She released silent sobs as she didn't want anyone in the house to hear her. Once she was able to pick herself up, she exited the shower, wrapped a fluffy white towel around her body and looked in the mirror. Her face was healed but there were still bags under her eyes, she could see the past day's events taking a toll on her.

She wasn't sure how long she spent staring at herself in the mirror but she soon heard a small knock on the bathroom door, right before it slowly opened. "Allison, are you okay?" She didn't say anything. Just continued looking at herself. Elijah approached her. After a few moments she turned around to face him tears coming to her eyes.

"I felt so helpless. And when she killed Father K. Oh my god, Cami is going to be so hurt." Allison's voice broke. Elijah wrapped his arms around her and let her cry into his chest.

"None of this is your fault Allison. You couldn't help the situation you were thrown into." Elijah tried to comfort her.

She calmed herself down, and stepped away from Elijah. She let the towel fall of her body as she stepped into some shorts a tee shirt. Allison quickly threw her hair up in a bun and walked towards the bed.

"Can you stay here tonight?" Allison asked Elijah as she pulled the sheets back on the bed.

"Always Allison." He responded. Elijah changed in to a pair of sweatpants and got in to bed with Allison allowing her to use him as a pillow. Her heartbeat finally slowed as slumber took over her and Elijah drifted off listening to the calm beating. Content that she was back in the safety of his arms.
