Ren managed to wiggle her way out and went to free Chizuru. Gently, they massaged each other's wrists until their circulation returned.

Smiling, Ren kissed Chizuru.

"Ack! REN!" whisper yelled Chizuru,"What if they see us?"

"They can piss off, or join us."

Chizuru spluttered and smacked her girlfriend.

"Oh, I see you're awake."

The cross dressing duo sprang forward tackling the man.

"Gen-gen!" Both of them cried,"We missed you!"

He stared at the pair," Is that you Chizuru Yukimura and Ren Naiki?"

"It's us, remember when we smuggled the piglet away from the butcher?" Ren was beaming at him. Gen-gen was like her grandpa.

Inoue gaped and started laughing," Only you two could get yourselves in this trouble."

"Hey, blame ronin and bad luck," grumbled Ren," We don't even try to get in these situations."

He just laughed and led them to the others.

The captains expected many things of their two captives, but them laughing and calling Inoue a ridiculous nickname was not on the list.

The older of the two prisoners glanced around at their incredulous faces.

"Geez, it seems not even Kou-san recognizes us, Chizuru."

At the familiar nickname Kondou gasped, he pulled the two girls into a hug. The others realized whom they had there.

The tension bled out of the room.

"It's good to see you," Kondou spoke happily.

"I think first we need to address what they saw last night," warned Hijikata.

"Please," groaned Ren," I've been dealing with this for years. I told Yukimura-san it was a bad idea, but nooo he just had to test it."

Absolute silence filled the room.
