Stubborn

Youko strode confidently ahead of her as if he knew exactly where he was going; even if to her it seemed like they were wandering aimlessly in the forest.

Stopping suddenly, he spared her a glance over his shoulder before he stepped right off the path into a thicket of foliage. Wonderingly, the undergrowth looked to melt away and completely open up before him.

Following in muted amazement, Kagome stepped into a peaceful glade and he meandered the clearing, pausing at a copse of bushes. Seemingly finding what he was looking for, he made a selection and returned to her.

"Kneel," he stated.

Resolutely, Kagome dropped to her knees and waited for further instruction.

Youko sighed. "Miko, remove your odd tunic."

She pouted. "This again?"

A draft suddenly went up her back, when in an instant sharp claw-tips cut a single tear down her back and her top slipped from her shoulders to hang off her awkwardly. With a squeak, she pressed the wrecked shirt to her chest and glared over her shoulder. "Was that necessary?!"

He shrugged one shoulder and dropped gracefully to the ground. Leaning in close to her, he commanded. "Be quiet and turn around."
