Bonnie was angry. It took a lot to get her to this point, but after the shitstorm of events that had gathered around her, she felt she was entitled to that anger. To recap, she was dragged into a crazy revenge plot by a batshit ancient witch who wanted to commit filicide; followed by almost getting killed by her best friend's ex boyfriend during a goddamn coin toss. Her mother—well she was more of a stepmother— who had left her when she was a toddler and oblivious was still planning on leaving her, had been turned into a vampire by Elena's other boyfriend, and was planning on walking out on her again once she got her vampirism down. She was tired, had the two vampires who caused her grief currently lounging on her couch like they owned the damn place (well Damon anyway, Stefan had the decency to just stand off in a corner.), it turned out everything she has known about herself has been a lie.

And to add the fucking cherry on top of this bullshit sundae, her biological mother was in town, along with a magical goblin. Both were not only magical beings, but apparently they were fairy-tale ones as well.

Spirits, she wanted nothing more than to break open Grams' liquor cabinet and down every bottle of scotch she left behind. Maybe she could get blackout drunk and just...just forget the last seventeen years of her life.

A hand squeezed her own, which had been balled up into a fist on her lap. She turned her head to see a remorseful Caroline staring at her. Elena sat on the opposite of her in the couch, rubbing circles on the small of her back. Caroline's blue eyes spoke volumes.

Did you want to leave?

Bonnie gave a soft shake of her head. She had to face this now or she'd be even angrier later. She turned her head back to the current situation at hand. All three of her parents were trying to up each other on just who was the worse parent.

Abby was adamant she didn't have to be here. She had only raised Bonnie for about two years before she left. She had her own son to worry about. Her dad was not having any of it and kept telling her that if she left, she would regret it. She was Bonnie's mom legally. Regina, the woman who Bonnie now knew was her birth mother, was either making jabs at Rudy or Abby or even the goblin minding his own business in the corner.

He was the one who made her curious the most. This goblin, the one who called himself Mr. Gold. He had an air of aloofness to him, but Bonnie wasn't fooled. She could practically taste the dark magic coming off of him. He never said a word during her parents' jibs and jabs, just let his eyes trail from Regina to Bonnie.

"Would you like a cuppa tea, dearies?" He asked, his question putting an end to the arguing. "You three look like you could use something to distract you. Especially you, Bonnie."

"Oh," Caroline peeped. She hadn't even thought about anything to drink. She let her eyes rest on Bonnie. This was her decision, and judging by Elena's silent but evident support, she was the same way. The brunette was clutching Bonnie's other hand like her life depended on it.

"We'll take whatever Bonnie's having." Elena answered for them.

"Speak for yourself Elena," Damon said with a scoff. His icy blue eyes moved to Regina and Rudy. "Anyone of you willing to open a vein? I'd ask Abby but I'm sure she's dying for a sip as well."

Regina fixed him with a look. Rumple said nothing, but he knew that look well. Try as she might and deny it, Regina was her mother's daughter. Cora would be smiling at the murderous glint in those brown eyes. He stole a quick glance at Bonnie and saw she had a hint of her grandmother as well. Her magic was potent and he was itching to see which unfortunate soul was going to be the first to face her wrath. He was honestly hoping for the blue eyed idiot and, if he wasn't going to shut up, the goblin might just get his wish.

"Well sorry to say but I wasn't asking you." Gold told him and gave a smile to Bonnie. "I was asking Miss. Bennett. I make a fine pot of tea, if you'd like some."

"You?" Regina questioned. "Who told you that?"

"Belle," he answered.

"Of course," Regina waved him off.

"Problem with that, Your Majesty?" Gold asked, his voice curious. Regina shut her mouth, but her face never lost her glare. "Oh, my mistake. You're just being a concerned parent."

Rudy scoffed this time. "I doubt that's it."

"Once again, before you even start, let me remind you that I didn't erase my daughter's memories." Regina shot at him.

"And once again, at least I didn't make her an afterthought and adopt another kid all together." Rudy snapped.

The lights flickered overhead and Caroline and Elena held tight to Bonnie. "You're okay," they whispered together. Gold noticed the lights and without a word, slipped out of the living room and towards the kitchen.

"You packed her up and left!"

"I made sure my daughter was away from your crazy. You only cared about Henry and I only hope that kid's sanity is still in place. What did you do, Regina? Did you do to him what you were gonna do to Bonnie?"

"Watch your next words, Rudolph, they'll cost you."

"What are you gonna do, Regina, that you already haven't? Neglect our whole relationship again?"

"I was angry!"

"So what I. You couldn't even look at me, Regina. You didn't want me, hell I doubt you wanted Bonnie!"

"Don't say that!" Regina snapped. It wasn't true. She did want her daughter. But she also knew that Bonnie had to make that choice on her own. That was the one thing she was going to allow her daughter that Cora never gave her: her own free will.

"What am I hitting home? Getting a little too personal for you?" Rudy mocked. "You're just like her, you know that? You've become your worse nightmare. You've become the woman you despised. How does it feel to be like your mother?"

Regina blinked. She laughed, or she tried to. It was too soft, light and just close of a chuckle. But Rudy saw it. He saw how her eyes lost that soft light and became cold. He saw how her posture changed, from on guard to on the attack. The square of her shoulders, the tightness of her jaw. She stepped into his personal space, and he turned his head as she spoke.

"It feels right, Rudy. Tell me, how does it feel to know you'll never be as close your mother?" Her voice was cold and he winced at her words.

"Motus."

Regina barely had time to shield to starve off the spell. Rudy and Abby weren't so lucky. They were flung into the wall and Regina, even with some resistance, found herself there as well. All three stared at the teenage girl. Bonnie's hand was outstretched, her green eyes shimmering with magic. Regina had to squint her eyes, but she saw it. That unmistakable purple hue: her kind of magic.

"Bonnie," Rudy called.

"Shut up." Bonnie snapped. "All three of you are going to shut the hell up. All you've done since you came inside is argue and I am sick and tired of it. You're acting like children and that's compared to Damon."

Damon pressed a hand to his heart, wounded by her comment.

"I have no idea who the hell you are," Bonnie said, emerald eyes locking on Regina. "But every bit of my magic recognizes you. It knows you. So you're gong to start talking. All of you and when I'm done, you can all get the hell out."

Her voice left no room for arguments and none of them wanted to even try.

Klaus could not believe what he was hearing.

"You're fucking with me."

It was all he could really say in that moment, because how else did you express that kind of news. Bonnie Bennett was a fairy-tale character. Or at least her mother was a fairy-tale character. The Evil Queen from bloody Snow White was the woman who birthed the witch who almost sent him to the grave thrice over.

Kol was on the ground, clutching his sides and howling with laughter. "Oh please tell me this isn't a joke."

It wasn't. His hybrids couldn't lie. Klaus had made sure that if they even tried, they would kill themselves. After his whole endeavor with Tyler, he had absolutely no use for liars and spies. Not those who weren't his own anyway.

Klaus rubbed a hand over his face. The little witch was just getting more interesting as the days went by. He had a hybrid casing her house only because he wanted to know what she would do to retaliate again her mother's turning.

"What do you want me to do?" the hybrid, Alex, asked him.

Klaus waved a hand. "Head back to your post. If the little witch leaves..."

"Bring her here."

Klaus looked at his brother. Kol looked rather intrigued. "Bring her here, Nik. I'd like to have a chat with her before we kill her."

The Original hybrid pondered it over. Bonnie was formidable and if he was honest, her talents were wasted on the Salvatores. He nodded and looked at his hybrid. "If she leaves the house, bring her here, unharmed."
