-2012-

The eight operatives landed with a crash on the floor, all groaning as they picked themselves up. They looked up, expecting to be somewhere else, but alas, they were in their same treehouse.

"Great job, Professor Dipshit." Wally said as he stood up. "It shot us back out."

"No it didn't!" Hoagie said. "For all you know, we could be twenty days into the future!"

"Let's check then." Nigel said as he stood up and brushed himself off.

He lead the group to the refrigerator, which held two cartons of root beers, an array of pudding, and a gallon of ice cream.

"We're in the present." Nigel said, turning to Hoagie.

"How do you know?" Rachel asked as they leaned into the fridge.

"That's the exact same thing that was in the refrigerator this morning." Nigel said.

"Well, maybe we just didn't eat anything in here for twenty days!" Hoagie said.

"You and Wally not eating for twenty days?" Abby smirked. "There's a better chance of Wally graduating high school then that happening!"

"It's true, dude." Wally said, with his mouth full if ice cream as he plopped down on the couch. "Plus, look."

He pointed to the TV screen, which displayed the date. It was the as day they left.

"Dammit!" Hoagie swore. "I thought it would work this time!"

As he sat down next to Wally, the TV screen was replaced with the image of Herbie, glaring at them.

"Herbie?" Rachel asked in confusion. "What are you doing?"

"You guys need to get here, now!" He demanded.

"What's wrong?" Fanny asked.

"The AND want to see you!" Herbie said. "It's about the time machine Numbuh 2 built."

Hoagie opened his mouth to say something, but the screen turned off before anyone could say anything.

"How do they know about that?" Hoagie asked.

"I don't know, but we better get up there." Rachel said. "They sound pissed."

They all then left, unaware about what was going to happen as much as they were unaware of what had happened.

-2032-

(One week later)

"Charlee what are we doing?" Mindy asked.

Mindy was blindfolded as she and Charlee walked through the moonbase, walking to the main room.

"Almost here!" Charlee smiled. Her tooth had been fixed after a week, and was replaced with a fake one.

Charlee led her into the the main room, where she took the blindfold off, to reveal a birthday party set up by her friends and other TND members.

"Happy Birthday, Mindy!" Rose, Bradley, Chris, Will, Alex, and Charlee said, slightly out of unison.

"You guys!" Mindy said, surprised. "But my birthday was last week!"

"We know, but we wanted to do something here," Rose said. "And with the mess after the battle..."

"And Toothless's wish to postpone until she had her replacement." Will added.

"We decided to wait." Charlee said, glaring at Will.

"You guys didn't have to do this!" Mindy said, hugging Charlee and then Alex.

"We already had plans to." Alex shrugged. "Some stuff just got in the way."

"You guys are amazing!" Mindy squealed as Mateo and Lindsay walked up to them.

"Hey, Mindy!" Mateo said happily. "Happy Birthday! Um, Numbuhs 71, 72, 73, 74, and 75, can I see you for a minute?"

"Sure." Rose shrugged. They followed him to Rose's office, where he immediately sat down in Rose's desk (to her annoyance).

"So, I have a proposition for you guys." He started.

"What?" Rose asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, as you guys know, globally, the next door organization has been failing." Mateo explained. "But, with Father, Lizzie, and Mr. Boss in high security at the Arctic prison, most of their international associates have begun to panic. They're lacking money that Boss sends them, weapons that Lizzie supplies them with, and leadership from Father. They're starting to suffer."

"What does this have to do with us?" Chris asked.

"I want you guys to do a global tour." Mateo explained. "Every continent, most countries. Try to rally people up. And if we can do that, our global network will be booming."

"A tour?" Charlee questioned. "But what about school?"

"It will be in the summer." Mateo explained. "And I can send Alex and Charlee back as soon as school starts up."

"But what about the four of us?" Will asked. "We have college nest year."

"Well, you can postpone that for a semester or two." Mateo said, shrugging.

"No we can't!" Rose said.

"Why not?" Mateo asked.

"College is important to us." Rose started. "And we can't skip a semester!"

"But it's for the Next Door." Mateo said. "And you guys are hero figures to people. You took down the worst villains ever!"

"So?" Alex said. "Why do we have to go around the world and solve everyone else's problems, like we solved yours, once again."

"Alex..."

"He has a point." Bradley said. "Why can't we finally start to enjoy our lives, now that Lizzie, Father, and Boss are gone?"

"And besides, we're not done here." Will said. "The "Board Members" are still on the loose."

"The AND can take care of that." Mateo said. "Please, guys?"

"Why can't the AND go around the world?" Charlee asked.

"Because we have more important things to do!" Mateo said. "Guys, c'mon you'll be in the AND soon, too, you'll see that it's not any easier."

"Yet, we've been doing pretty much all of the work." Rose said. "And why should adults get the easier shit, while we have to bust our asses off across the world."

"You'll just hold rallies, press conferences, stuff like that." Mateo said.

"No." Rose said. "We have stuff to do here."

"Yeah, we're leading the entire organization." Bradley said. "We can't just leave."

"C'mon guys!" Mateo said. "Charlee, Will, you'll be around people who love you, admire you!"

"Tempting, but Rose is right." Charlee said.

"Guys, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity." Mateo said. "Why are you so opposed to this?"

"Because for once, we can be normal again." Rose said. "No adults trying to kill us,"

"No battles every time we go to school." Chris added.

"And now we can finally do normally teenage stuff." Bradley added. "We've been through hell and back every since we turned thirteen, and now we just want some time to us."

"So thanks, but no thanks." Alex said.

They then left, leaving Mateo frustrated.

Towards the end of the night, after majority of people had left, Rose, Bradley, Chris, and Alex were sitting on the bridge as Will and Charlee sat down beside them, six pack of beer in Will's hand. Will handed one to everyone, each popping the lid.

"Where did you get these?" Rose asked as she opened her bottle.

"I swiped one from Patton's place after Char's tooth replacement." Will said. "On three?"

"1," Rose said.

"2," Bradley said.

"3." Chris, Alex, Charlee and Will said.

They all took a sip and immediately gagged, laughing at how bad it tasted.

"Oh, God this is gross." Chris laughed.

"Where is this from?" Rose asked as she read the bottle. "Ukraine?"

"I think so." Will laughed. "He didn't really pack the good stuff out of Ukraine, and I guess he hasn't been shopping."

"But crappy beer." Bradley laughed.

They were silent for a while until Rose decided to break the ice.

"So how are things with your parents?" Rose asked, taking a small sip.

"Awkward." Charlee shrugged. "I think they tried to make up for some stuff by paying for my tooth."

"And then your Docs." Will added, referencing Charlee's new Doc Marten's.

"They gave you those?" Rose asked.

"When we came back from the dentist, I was high on funny gas." Charlee explained. "We passed by a shoe store, and these were in the window, and I may have said that I really, really wanted a pair."

They laughed as Charlee hid her face in her hands.

"I fully intend on paying them back, as soon as I have the money." Charlee said. "But for now, what's the harm in wearing them?"

"What about your tooth?" Chris asked.

"Okay, that ended up being really expensive, and covered by both of their insurances, so I'm just gonna leave that." Charlee said, taking a long sip of her beer.

"What about yours?" Will asked Chris and Rose.

"We've managed to avoid them after the battle." Rose shrugged. "I think I may have a few calls from Rachel though. I think Lindsay gave her my number."

"I ran into them yesterday at the diner actually." Chris said. "They seemed as awkward as I was being."

"What did you do?" Rose asked.

"I said "Hi." in a really weird voice, talked about the weather, mainly to myself, and then retreated to the bathroom where I waited for like an hour." He sighed.

"I thought you had diarrhea or something." Alex said. "I noticed you were gone, but I didn't see Nigel or Rachel."

"What about Kuki and Wally?" Chris asked. "How was the "Family Dinner"?"

After the battle, Kuki had insisted that Wally and Alex should come over for a family dinner for Mindy's birthday. Alex was reluctant at first, but eventually caved to his mother's doe eyes.

"Kind of weird." Alex said. "I mainly just sat there and ate. Kuki tried to talk to me about school, friends, and relationships, but I didn't know what to tell her. Wally did feel bad and gave me and Mindy a load of cash from all the birthdays he missed."

"How much?" Will asked.

Alex took out his wallet and showed them the wad of cash that Wally had given him.

"Wow." Charlee said. "Did Mindy get this much too?"

"That and Deez Boiz tickets." Alex said. "Kuki and Wally also said they'd get me something for this birthday."

"How does he make this much with a teacher's salary and student loan debt?" Rose asked.

"I have no idea." Alex smirked. "But when I tried to give it back to him, he insisted I keep it, so..."

Rose nodded and laid her head on Bradley's shoulder.

"What about you, Brads?" She asked.

"Haven't really seen them much." Bradley shrugged. "I did talk to Jasmine though."

"Is she pissed?" Chris asked.

"Oh yeah." Bradley laughed. "She chewed me out for not telling her, and then told me how much she could have helped me if she knew. But, she seemed okay after that. And I did see Hoagie once."

"What happened?" Rose asked.

"He made a dad joke, laughed awkwardly at it and then ran to the bathroom." Bradley said. "So, about as awkward as everyone else's. Except I didn't get a wad of cash or Doc Martens."

Everyone nodded in agreement. They sat in awkward silence for awhile, sipping beer and kicking their legs off the side.

"Should we go back?" Chris asked. Everyone nodded and got up, except for Charlee.

"You guys go ahead." Charlee said. "I'm actually meeting Jason out here." She blushed a little, something she never did.

"Why?" Rose asked.

"He asked me out." Charlee smiled. "And we're going out. Tonight."

"Really?" Alex asked, sounding a little sad.

"Yeah, so I'll just wait for him here." Charlee said. "See you guys later!"

"Bye, Char, have fun." Rose said as they left.

As soon as they got into the main room again, Alex brushed past everyone, saying he needed a cigarette, and giving Jason a glare as he passed him going to Charlee. Chris left to talk to Mindy again, and Will joined him, occasionally looking over to where Angie was standing, talking to a few friends from the Arctic Base.

Bradley and Rose were left alone, Rose leaning into him as he wrapped his arms around her.

"Is anything going to be normal again?" Bradley asked. "With our parents, the TND, and pretty much everything."

"I think so." Rose said. "Eventually. But for now, do you wanna get out of here?"

"Hell yeah." Bradley smirked. "We probably should go home, my parents and your parents are probably pissed."

"Yeah, but my mom and dad work late on Thursday night's, which is coincidentally tonight." Rose smiled.

"So do you want to go to your house then?" Bradley asked, a grin on his face.

"Let's go." Rose said as she took his hand and they left.

A/N: It took me only two years, some good streaks, some bad ones and a hell of a lot of writer's block, but it's finally done!

Well, this story.

I actually have two more stories planned, one that follows teenage Sector V after they get back to their time, and another that is set in the future and deals with Sector V reconnecting with their kids. I plan on making then a hell of a lot shorter, but my plan was only like 25 chapters for this one, so we'll see! So, stay tuned for those!

And thank you to zcross1997 for your review on the last chapter! I was actually a little, tiny bit worried that people may get offended by that reference, but I'm so happy you enjoyed it!

Also, thank you to anyone who reviewed, followed, favorited, read, or even glanced at my story! Everything meant so much to me, and it honestly kept me going for 33 chapters! So thank you, thank you, thank you!
