A/N: So a user named The Howling Behemoth requested some Over The Garden Wall related poems - the first one for sure they'll be using in a fanfic, which they have my permission to do. (And thank you so much for asking me to write them :D.)

Just thought I'd share them all with you guys :3. Hope you like it! Also, if you ever have a prompt or request, feel free to PM me! Depends what it is and my mood, but I'll more than likely do it.

Waning Wick

"Wick flickers;
flickering wick
casting shadows foreshadowing
lights diminishing flick.

The howling wind,
not the breath of the forest -
but, that of the light
that's cast before us.

It's dim, dimming glow
a beckoning

; a warning -

the lantern must be
fed before morning."

Night Forest

"The creature is darkness,
but its breath is the light-
not of silver moon,
but fire bright.

It's dimming, waning
is damnation to all;
whether the Beast feeds
or whether he falls.

With

crickling, crackling tinder it'll flare-
as long as the Edelwood blooms in his care.

So follow, little traveler,
the flickering light
and (go home/grow in) to
the forest this night."
