Epilogue

23 WEEKS LATER...

"Come on Regina... push!"

Regina was sweating profusely and giving it her all. The twins were one week early which was a miracle for twins. And at 37 weeks Dr. Wang felt they could forgo the c-section and let Regina try to give birth. This was extremely uncommon but not impossible and the women felt it would work as they believed almost certainly that the babies possessed magic. Regina had a smooth pregnancy and whenever something began to feel out of sorts immediately they saw light blue and light pink tiny lights coming from her belly causing her to feel relief. The biggest thing that happened was a couple weeks ago at Granny's diner her ankles began to swell to the point of discomfort.

Like a poltergeist a chair moved across the room towards Regina and her legs were suddenly drawn upon them.

Snow and charming looked at the women as if they'd seen a ghost because as far as they could tell neither one of them had lifted a hand.

They then noticed the small lights.

Regina and Emma quietly told them their theory. But only Henry knew as they didn't feel it was safe to go around saying their babies possessed magic before their own birth.

"Come on honey you are almost there...you are doing so good!" Emma held her hand and braced herself because Regina's grip was deadly. But she wouldn't remove her hand for she remembered the pangs of labor pain and her wife had to do this twice in a row.

Suddenly, like the start of an orchestra in a silent hall they heard it...their baby cry for the first time.

"It's a girl!" Dr. Wang excitedly cried. She handed Emma the scissors and she promptly cut the umbilical cord.

Regina reached out her arms and held Margaret for the first time. She couldn't stop her tears.

Emma kissed her wife and then her daughter. "Regina, we have a daughter." Emma eye's were blurry from all her tears.

Regina kissed her baby. A baby she never knew would be possible. "Hi Maggie. Welcome to the world Margaret Rema. We love you so much."

"Okay Regina...we've still got one more."

"Okay." Regina reluctantly handed the baby to her other mother.

Emma knew babies weren't born beautiful but she swore her daughter was the most beautiful she'd ever seen.

Henry gently approached, "Moms can I hold her while you keep going?"

Regina looked lovingly at Henry, "Yes, son."

Emma handed a proud and excited looking Henry, "Here's your sister."

Henry took her to the other side of Regina as he coo'd and whispered sweet words to his baby sister.

Regina started to feel the urge again. "Can I push?"

"Yes, Regina, go!"

"Mmmmm." She went for it but stopped as her head slumped back.

"Honey?" Emma was alarmed. Regina was exhausted.

The nurse came over and put oxygen over Regina's face.

"What's going on?" Emma asked.

Dr Wang peaked out from her position to receive the baby, "Both of their oxygen levels have dropped." She directed to Emma.

But she continued, "Regina you are doing amazing. We are almost done but I need you to push ok. We have to get him out now. I need you to muster all your strength for him okay. I'll tell you when."

Regina was having another contraction and it felt as if it was ripping her apart.

"God Emma, it hurts!"

"I know baby. I know. But you are doing great! I'm so proud of you! It's almost over. You can do this. I know you can do this!"

Emma was extremely worried. They had run a scenario where the baby could get stuck in the vaginal canal putting both the life of the mother and child at risk. But she had an idea. Regina was the strongest woman she knew. She just needed a little more.

Emma sat behind her as a brace as Regina leaned back against her. She grabbed Regina's hands and rested them on her own knees. "Use me. Use our love, our magic for strength. You've got this. We've got this."

"Alright Regina. Now!"

"Regina pushed with all she hand as she felt the magical connection between Emma and she pour from their hands."

"Almost there, almost there...keeping going...and we've got him!"

Again the sounds of a beautiful wailing baby. Emma slumped back with Regina on top of her.

She kissed the back of Regina's head. "You did it baby."

"No, we did it. All of us. As a family." Regina looked at Henry as he cut the umbilical cord.

The baby was handed to her just as Maggie was. Both she and Emma kissed and caressed his little face. "Hello Maxwell David. We love you so much."

A short while later after Regina nursed both babes Snow and Charming came in to meet their grandkids. Regina was holding a baby on each side.

Snow walked over to Regina and kissed her on the forehead. "Congratulations mom." She whispered.

"Congratulations grandma." Regina smiled back.

Emma gently first took Maggie and introduced them. "Mom, this is Margaret Rema."

Snow was overcome with emotion at the use of name from this world, "Oh my."

"Rema is after Regina and myself." The blonde explained

"And Dad, this is Maxwell David." He smiled and shed a few tears as he stroked his grandson's head. "I can't believe you guys."

"It was Regina's idea."

"Thank you." David held her hand. "How do you feel?"

"Honestly, like I just pushed two bowling balls out of a socket."

At that moment they could see through the windows Ruby, Dorothy with their almost one year old daughter, Belle with Rumple and Gideon, Granny, Zelena, Glinda, little Robin...everyone have balloons and flowers in their hands.

The babies were given back to Regina as Emma sat on one side of her and Henry on the other.

Regina looked at their reflection in the mirror in front of her and said, "Now this is a happy ending."

Guys! It's been a total pleasure (mostly) writing this story. I realize that in the course of it I went through many experiences in my life. I never thought the story would take this long and I am super grateful for those of you who stuck by me and patiently waited for its completion. I may add a part 2 in the future or even snidbits of this Omegaverse-centric world. I really do hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have and are happy with the ending. I personally find endings terrifying to write as us, readers tend to never be fully satisfied. On my part it's usually because I don't want a story to end and I honestly could have continued this indefinitely. However, I will very likely write small stories tied to this one and perhaps, like I said, a part two. Thank you again! I hope the reviews continue and your awesome support! For any SVU fans out there I started writing my first Rolivia fic and it's unlike anything I've ever written before. It's halfway done and hopefully soon I'll be adding to fanfiction. (For those that started The Quest for True Happiness- I do plan to finish it. I had awesome plans for that story and will eventually get to it). If I do reach 300 reviews I promise to stop everything I'm doing and write a story from this Omegaverse world. Requests are always welcome. :) Until then...everyone please stay safe! Wear your masks and remember we have a duty to our loved ones and this beautiful planet we call home. No letting our guards down. Happy Reading! XOXO
