A/N: DA DA DA DUN DA DADA DA DAA DUNNN Here it is! a new chapter! Sorry been pretty lazy recently... so here's a new something let me know you thoughts on how this story should go~
[Chapter status: 1.11.20 Debut additions later]
After Grover got into contact with Annabeth and Percy they all went back to camp. They were all surrounding in Rachel's room trying to understand her dream.
"To be born in darkness... it must be Nico!" Percy exclaimed, he doesn't know why but his intuition has said it had to be Nico.
Annabeth frowned it couldn't be a coincidence. They just saw Nico yesterday and then he went missing. She looked around the room she had a itch to want to help this girl redecorate but she knew it wasn't the time for that. Annabeth was conflicted why after so long a prophecy wasn't requested until now... is it true that Nico was in danger? And why did Percy was determined it's about Nico? Did he know something everyone else didn't?
"Even if it is about Nico... how do we determine who will go?" Will asked in concern.
"I need to go, please let me." Percy didn't know why but for some reason the fates were telling him that Nico was in real danger and he was the only one who could help him.
Annabeth was pretty annoyed she didn't know why Percy was trying so hard to be apart of this quest. She kept silent pretty much this whole time she is very concern about the prophecy and Nico but for some reason she didn't like it.
"What do you think dear?" Chiron asked Annabeth she looked up, it was like if Chiron has heard her thoughts.
All eyes were on her at this point, if she said yes she would go but... is it right for her to go?
She balled her fists and spoke after taking a deep breath, "I...am not the one to go."
With that she turned and walked out of the room ignoring everyone's protest. She constantly blinked her eyes and tried to keep the tears from falling. Her heart hurt alot, What's stopping you? She remembered Will asking her. She tried to keep her breath steady but her body wouldn't respond to her.
She ended up wandering near the cabins and sad down behind one to absentmindedly stare at the forest. The trees blew peacefully as she felt the cold air blow through the camp. The rustling of the leaves calmed her down she was jealous of how the trees don't have feelings. How nice it would have been to not feel this pain. She stopped twirling the piece of grass she didn't know she picked to squeeze her heart.
She was very confused with her feelings of Nico.. Percy... why is his head always had to be full of kelp? It got her angry. If he wasn't so keened on the fact that it was Nico he wouldn't bother with this quest. Annabeth would have agreed to go, it was probably for their sakes. Why was she so bothered?
She couldn't missed the days she enjoyed Percy's company but she always wondered what was their status. Were they boyfriend and girlfriend? Or boy friend and girl friend. They have been through so much together that it didn't even have her question whatever they had it just seemed natural for her to be with him. But everything now he's in the picture... this have changed. She never realized it, but she hasn't noticed the different tones he would talk to Nico vs her. He always remember about things Nico has said or made sure he was included...
"Annabeth!" She looked up to the mention of her name it was Grover.
He tried to catch his breath, he seemed to have ran, was he looking for her? she instantly felt bad...
"We were looking for you!" Grover told her.
