Sorry, it took so long to get this chapter up so for all the ones out there that was waiting so much for a new chapter I do apologize to you. I decided to give you two chapters in one for your long wait.

now to the chapter

"Otou-san are you really thinking of meeting this new upstart." A now thirty-year-old Naruko says wearing an orange, black, and grey plaid button-up short-sleeved shirt leaving the top buttons undone to show off the Whitebeard pirate's Jolly Rodger in the upper center of her chest, blue jean pants, and black high heeled sandals. Over the outfit was a cape that was white with a blue ragging sea at the bottom reaching to her ankles. Reaching the hight of 6-0 without the heels with long blonde hair going down to her lower back tied in two braids coming together to form one big one. Hazel eyes and a soft face she could bring any person from a bad mood to happy go lucky with a toothy grin.

"He wants to meet me so it just a matter of time before our paths cross anyway," Whitebeard says not really paying attention to his daughter at the time causing Naruko to shake her head sighing at her old man. " By the look of those explosions, he seems to be in a good battle with someone." Naruko looking out to the island they plan to stay for a while seeing, feeling the rumbles get greater as they get closer.

"I can take care of everything while on the island just be ready to heal Jinbe when where there" Whitebeard tries to order her but only for Naruko to jump on his shoulder. "and miss this yeah right. Marco can heal him I want to see what so special about this guy" Naruko inform her captain not taking no for an answer.

upon arriving at the island the see a larger mist than normal surrounding the island still going where the battle had taken place to find Jinbe face down in the dirt... Seeing a lot of men to stand and Whitebeard way he releases a blast of HAOSHOKU HAKI sending them away.

"Guys FLAMING NET" the man separating them from the men around them.

"CAPTAIN ACE," one man on the other side of the flame wall said. "So this is Ace? Cutting off his man so they can get away admirable." Naruko says out so only her father and Ace can hear her. "my crew can escape but I won't run" Ace getting to fight again. "Confidence as well you said you wanted to fight him so there he is," Naruko says getting off his shoulder to stand to the side to watch already knowing how it will end. Ace charge at the old man starting a fight.

ONE WHITEBEARD BEATING LATER

After a very much one-sided fight, Ace finds himself face down in dirt once again with Whitebeard looking over him and Naruko standing near Ace observing him.

"so his strength rivaled his" Ace says to himself not knowing Naruko was behind him listening. trying to get up for another round with the world's strongest man. "Still got some fight in you" Whitebeard looking down at Ace only to get a glare in return. "Well you can keep fighting knowing I'm not going to kill you." catching Ace by surprise "But run wild and free under my name. And I will call you my son." Whitebeard informs Ace offering him a hand.

"FUCK THAT OLD MAN"

BONK

A fist had hit Ace in the back of the skull knocking him out because of Naruko.

"Naruko" surprised by his daughter's actions. "What is not like you weren't going to do it anyway," Naruko says placing Ace over her shoulder taking him back to there ship.

: BACK ON THE MOBY OUT AT SEA:

Naruko is back in her room not what you would expect from a woman. from weights in one corner to a desk with twelve different den-den mushi on top with maps on it. She found herself unable to properly sleep for weeks. Ever since Ace came aboard there ship all he has been trying to do is kill her father even after he spared his life, the nerve of this guy. She had it so bad because anytime he would try at night it would mean another midnight wake up call which resulted in all-nighters and fishing him out of the sea (if she felt like it) all because her room was beside her fathers... Great.

Then one fateful afternoon Marco decides to talk to Ace while bringing him some food. "Ace let me tell you something out of all the people here have you ever noticed there only one girl," Marco says seeing Naruko talking to some other crewmembers. "Yeah, I did notice that what gives," Ace says looking at her as well. "She is Whitebeard flesh and blood daughter and the person you will see if you do manage to kill pops. She's not the first mate for nothing" Marco tells him seeing Naruko notices them and wave with a smile which Marco wave back.

"The first mate is Whitebeard showing her special treatment because she is his daughter I thought you all were his children," Ace said looking away from the so-called family.

"They are he see all of us as his kid's blood or not," Naruko says in front of Ace making him lookup. "You know he never wanted me to be a pirate Oto-san. And after a day at death's door, he almost stopped me completely. but I keep training, helping everyone here all my brothers who gave me everything." Naruko now setting beside Ace while he looks at her.

"So you really got two options. Get off the ship start over or stay and take the mark of Whitebeard where ever you go." Marco tells Ace making Ace think more about it. While Naruko smiles getting up walking away from the two-man feeling the change in Ace's heart about Whitebeard.

: SOMETIME LATER:

"To make Douma and his crew surrender by himself Ace-Kun must really be something," Naruko says to her father getting his medicine ready for him before she leaves to do some training. "I even heard some of the guys talking about how he would make a good second division commander we haven't had one in a long time." trying to make small talk with her father about it. "That would make him one of the only commander you haven't beaten yet" Whitebeard knowing how his daughter was about it years ago.

"I'm not trying to show my worth anymore" all she could do was drop her head at how foolish she was. Beating up all the division commanders to prove herself to the whole crew she didn't need them looking after her anymore. " I'm thinking of getting the den-den mushi ready for him, and don't forget your medicine" Naruko a little excited for a new commander leaving the room to go start training knowing it will be sometime before she comes back.

: NIGHT TIME SAME DAY:

After returning from one of her deepsea training exercises and taking a quick shower to hear someone knock on her father's door next to her's.

"A pops got a Minute" Ace calls out getting the attention of both Newgate's. Naruko gets up hearing how serious he sounds decides to be a little nosey and walks to her father's door after hearing Ace go inside the room. She looks in the door's window and sees Ace sit down on the edge of the bed while her father lays on it drinking, she cracks the door open a little so she can listen in on the conversation.

"I want to tell you that I'm Gold Rodger's son," Ace says closing his eyes tightly waiting to be yelled at. But to his surprise, he heard laughter instead

"Well go figure who would have thought Roder having a child let alone a son," Whitebeard says not really caring going back to finishing his drink.

"I mean shouldn't you be mad he was your enemy after all?" Ace feeling more concerned about the matter.

"Let me tell you something Ace I..." But before Whitebeard could finish his door fly open showing Naruko with her head down hair shadowing her eyes. "so your the child of my father's greatest rival?" Naruko says getting closer to Ace before stopping in front of him with her arms crossed.

"Yes," Ace feeling guilty about hiding these from them. "So that makes you my enemy right Ace?" Naruko asks letting one of her eyes pierce at him through her hair tilting her head sideways, making him look away giving her an answer. Naruko then starts walking out the door "follow me" she says to Ace leaving no room to question just obey. Ace doing as she says leaves Whitebeard in his room alone.

"That damn kid," Whitebeard says to himself already having a good idea of what about to happen goes back to drinking.

: MINUTES LATER:

The Moby Dick is docked at a random island's beach where we can see Naruko and Ace facing each other

"Since your my enemy we're going to fight," Narko says glaring at Ace.

"I don't want to fight you" Ace trying to reason with her.

"Too bad that what enemies do Fish-Man Karate: Surface Slicer," Naruko says kicking a water slice at Ace That was tearing along the ground. Which he dodge by rolling out of the way.

"I guess I have no choice" Ace holding his hands out in front of him "Firefly," he says sending small flares towards Naruko.

"I said FIGHT! Fish-Man Jujutsu: Pirana Frennzy" Narko waves her arms in a large circle making a water mirror sending piranas out it to eat the flares.

"Fiery Doll" Ace lighting the flares inside the fishes ablaze case a mist to form between him and Naruko

"Using a mist to cover yourself is a clever move." Naruko getting impressed by how he taking the fight now. then she sees a cross appear on her chest.

"CrossFire" Sending along with a fire cross at her.

"You have to do better than that Fish-Man Jujutsu: Giant Vortex," Naruko says spinning sending a massive vortex to sweep Ace up with it.

"Shit Fire Pillar." Ace bringing up a pillar of fire around himself to stop the water from touching him regaining his footing. Getting tired of the fight Ace decides to give Naruko what she been asking of him.

"Fire Commandment: Flame Emperor" Ace summons a gigantic sphere of flames ready to throw it at Naruko. "YOU WANTED ME SERIOUS! THIS IS ME SERIOUS...!TAKE IT!" Ace throws the sphere leaving a burned path along the beach behind it.

"Fish-Man Jujutsu: Water Dragon's Shooting strike" Naruko surrounds herself in water and shoots towards the sphere head-on spinning inside it making a water drill.

"I wonder if I went too far. But she did ask for this." Ace thought to himself before hearing Naruko yelling.

"ACCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEE YOU IDIOT!" Naruko calls out from within the sphere shocking Ace. Because not only did she go threw the sphere, she dispersed it as well. Before a powerful punch meets the side of his face from Naruko which she lands on top of him.

"You little.." Ace stops from felling something wet touch his chest, he then notices something about his current situation a few things to be exact.

Not only was Naruko on top of him, but also her forearms were a bit burned from going in the sphere her clothes were a bit burned here and there. But the most surprising thing was she was crying.

"I know that it true enemies fight but... Don't family fight some times?!" Her hazel eyes clouded by the tears in them. "What does it matter that your father was Roger. All pirates are children of the sea... When I first meet you I had a feeling you two were connected some way." This shocked Ace making his eyes widen. "I heard you say that Otou-san strenth rivaled his and that could only be one person I know," Naruko says getting of Ace sitting beside him looking out towards the ocean.

"I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you like this." Ace says looking at the night sky now wondering why he worried about something so small, to begin with.

"Well, you should be. I mean honestly, do we seem like the type to care about small things like that are we Ace-kun?" Naruko asks giving him a toothy grin making Ace blush a little sitting up now. "If any time you feel like talking I'm all ears." Wanting Ace to open up to her.

"if you don't mind I can't really sleep right now and the night still young... If you don't mind?" Ace says giving side glances to her who give him a node. So a conversation on his past was had from his mother, grandfather, to his brothers any and everything he wanted to say to her came out that night. With a more than willing audience to listen.
