Chapter 10 : Behind the Mask part 3 Final

Lori dressed as Batman was waiting almost close to the arena behind a dark corner for the moment when Lincoln will appear for his execetution and that Mr . W will get a really nasty surprise . Lori knew everything about the bat costume from Mr . Wayne explaining everything to her , so she knew where to push on the costume so she can be invisible , but for some reason that option was not working at the moment for her.

She really hoped that this time around , she will be a great help to Lincoln . She really loved Lincoln so much knowing that her love is forbidden . Lori has a sudden flashback when she started to fall in love with her brother .

Flashback ...

It happen when the Louds still lived in Royal Woods . Everyone was doing there own stuff when lori burst inside the house looking really upset .

" Lori what happend sweetheart ?" asked her mother Rita Loud .

" I ... i just broke up with Bobby permanently " said Lori .

" What ? Why ?" asked her father Lynn Sr.

" I told him that i need a break , so i can focus on my future career as a police woman for a while . But he said there is no need for me to have a future as a police woman . I tried to explain it , but then he blames me i found someone else and i am using this whole future career as an excuse , and i told him if you cant trust me the one you love the most then we are not a couple anymore " said Lori .

" Sweetheart dont worry you always had a fight with Bobby i am positive that you two will be back together in no time " said Rita Loud .

" Not this time around , this time is for good" said Lori going to her room . At the same time a fiftteen - year - old Lincoln comes home covered in bruises scarying his family .

" Lincoln Loud , again ? When will you stop with all these brawls you get yourself into ? "asked his father .

" Quiet , old man . You dont control my life anymore "said Lincoln going to his room .

" Man that boy , sure has changed alot when he became thirteen "said his father .

Upstairs Lori was taking out the trash from her room , when she hears someone outside . She looks to see who it was and it was her brother Lincoln .

"Another rough day?" asked Lori.

"Maybe or maybe not . What about you ?"asks Lincoln .

" Nothing much just broke up with Bobby "said Lori .

"Well you , deserve someone much better then him . Heck if we were not related i would have asked you out"said Lincoln surprising his sister for what he just said .

" You mean it ?" asks Lori .

"Of course , what do i look stupid enough to reject a gorgeous beauty lie you" said Lincoln . Lori was surprised at what Lincoln just told her . Ever since Lincoln becamed thirteen he changed alot , he was no longer acting as a geek , he started taking karate lesson from Lynn and he even started causing trouble for mom and dad when he started to get himself into many fights .

But one thing Lori noticed the most that one time she caught Lincoln having a fight with mom and dad and the rest of the sisters for putting them in trouble.

After that fight he had , Lincoln spent all his money to buy them present gifts to them . His attitude was just a mask to hide his true nature of a good kid who stilll loves his family even when he cause problems .

Ever since Lincoln told Lori how beautifull she is , Lori started to see Lincoln in a different light always confident in himself , always strong to not let anyone mess with him and for still carrying for his family , but she knew that mom and dad and the rest of the sibling would not take that kinda relationship , but Lori still hoped that one day she can express her fellings to Lincoln .

Flashback ends ...

"Hang in there everyone , i will save you all this time"said Lori dressed as Batman . Lori was focused for the moment to make her grand entrance that she never noticed a tall black figure behind her .

Lincoln was being dragged to the arena for his execution ., but was stopped by Mr .W and Bane was next to him with what made Lincoln terrified , Mr. W had Lori dressed as Batman with the mask of .

"Your really wanted to make a fool out of me didnt you?"asked Mr. W.

"Let her go , now"said Lincoln.

"Are you threatening me? Very well then instead of you , she will be execute by Bane"said Mr. W.

"I swear , youre gonna pay dearly you punk"said Lincoln looking really angry at Mr. W.

"Maybe , maybe not . Take her to the arena and punish this fool really bad"said Mr. W.

Lincoln hearing this didnt hesitated at all and charged at Mr. W taking him down on the ground and punching him like no tommorow.

"I warned you. Now youl understand what happens when you piss me off really badly"said Lincoln to Mr. W until a knife appears around his neck, behind him was his none other then his brainwashed sister Lynn Jr. a.k.a Lady Vengeance .

"Come one whats wrong dont tell me she made you think twice"said Mr. W with his mouth covered in blood after being busted by Lincoln .

"I really hate you punk"said Lincoln.

"I will take that as a compliment. Let him go i want him alive for the grand finale"said Mr.W. Lady Vengeance did as she was told , whille Lincoln barely could handle seeing his sister like this all brainwashed and doing everything Mr. W asks her to do .

Meanwhille ...

Bruce Wayne finally returns home , the trial of Derek Powers a.k.a Blight was postponed again . Bruce only wanted to relax and stop worrying that the entire world is agaisnt him .

"Hello?Anybody home?" asked Bruce.

"Dont bother Bruce you wont find the Louds home"said a voice behind Bruce revealing to be Barbara Gordon.

"What are you talking about Barbara?"asked Bruce.

"The League of Asassins are back and there new leader kidnapped all of them"said Barbara to Bruce.

"This cant be true. The League of Asassins was taken care of me and Terry long ago"said Bruce.

"And since when did you started to believe youre old enemies are dead?"asked Barbara Gordon showing a letter she took out from her purse showing it to Bruce . After all this time Bruce wanted to believe that at least one enemy from his past was actually dead , but he should have known better that when it comes to him and Batman everything is possible even after these many long years .

"When did you received this letter?"asked Bruce.

"Last night it was send to me"said Barbara.

"Then we must make a move on and fast or these kids die"said Bruce.

"Are you out of youre mind? You health is not what it was back in the good old days and neither is mine. If youl put again that costume you might die in the process. Bruce i know the feeling to save someone but we are not younger as we used to be"said Barbara.

"When did i said i was gonna wear the suit again?" asked Bruce.

"Wait then ... ohh no you dont mean him?" asked Barbara.

"Yes"said Bruce .

"But he stopped being Batman only to make sure his villlains wont come after his family , thats is why he quit being Batman"said Barbara.

"We have no other choise. Its either him or the kids will die"said Bruce getting ready to call someone.

"Yeah , who is it?"asked a voice on the other side of the line .

"An old friend requesting youre help for one last time"said Bruce .

Back with Lincoln...

Lincoln was tied on the arena wall unable to move , only thing he could do was watch the carnage that was about to take place , he wasnt alone his sisters minus Lori were next to him out cold as a request from Mr. W himself .

"This all my fault"said Lincoln .

"Awww dont worry kid , once youre sister is taken out you and the rest of youre family will be next to share the same fate"said Mr. W appearing in front of him.

"No let my sisters go , i can do whatever you want with me , just please spare my sisters"said Lincoln almost begging .

"Tempting but no"said Mr. W turning his back on Lincoln and grabs a microphone who was coming down from the ceilling to him .

"Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to youre most entertaining show of youre lives. Today you all will wittness the execution of the one the only Batman" said Mr . W with the ground opening revealing Lori a.k.a Batman all tied up .

Every criminal boss from Gotham was screaming and yelling like they were on a soccer game. Nobody noticed that a dark figure up on the ceiling was watching this whole moment.

Flashback...

Bruce and Barbara were in the Batcave waiting for someone to appear. That someone appeared and it was revealed to be none other then Terry Mcginnis the previous Batman before Lincoln.

"Good to see the Batcave again like i left it" said Terry.

"Youre late"said Bruce .

"But i came. So what is this so called help from me?"asked Terry. Bruce didnt wasted anytime and explained everything , surprising Terry a little.

"I dunno what to say Bruce. There is a really good reason why i stopped this and you of all people know very well"said Terry.

"All i am asking is just one more time. After that i swear i wont bother you anymore"said Bruce.

"Please Terry help us out. You off all people knows the pain Bruce has when you lose someone and so do i"said Barbara starting to speak also.

"Fine but this is the last time"said Terry.

"Is my costume ready?"asked Terry.

"As always" said Bruce .

Flashback ends...

"Are the bombs ready?"asked Bruce speaking with Terry from the main base .

"Ready, just waiting for the signal"said the dark figure revealing to be Batman.

Down below all tied up Lori dressed as Batman was helpless and her fear increased when the executioner revealed to be her sister Lynn a.k.a Lady Vengeance.

"This is youre last chance kid , reveal to all of us that youre the real Batman"said Mr. W

Lincoln was about to do so when...

"He is not Batman , i am"said Batman coming down and with Bruce giving him the order to blow the bombs so did he do. The arena was covered with terror with many crimelord screaming and running for there lives when the bombs exploded and total chaos started .

"How can this be? I was sure this kid was Batman"said Mr. W.

"Well ... looks like you were wrong"said Batman punching Mr. W straight in the face .

"Security get this fool Lady Vengeance and Bane you two come here also"said Mr. W.

"You cant win by yourself , help me get lose and i can help i know how to fight"said Lincoln to Batman not surprised at all that sudden surprises that took place so far.

"I have a better idea . I will free you but you must save them first, thats how things work"said Batman to Lincoln fighting with his bare hands against the security guards until Lady Vengeance and Bane reached him.

"But ... that was Lincoln able to say when Batman cut him short.

"No buts , this is how the world of Batman works , first you must think of the innocent lives after that you can worry about youre enemies"said Batman. Down below Lori was glad she was spared and somehow managed to free herself and noticed Mr. W running away during the whole ordeal.

"Ohh no way youre getting away"said Lori running after Mr. W. Lady Vengeance stopped on her tracks seeing the other Batman after her boss , and decided to let Bane deal with this Batman so she can get the other one all by herself .

Lincoln being freed understood what Batman told him and freed his sisters , then just like his sister he noticed Lori chasing Mr. W and went to rush to help also when the police barged in.

Terry a.k.a Batman was fighting with all his might against Bane , he was doing pretty well. Seems he didnt lost his touch as acrime fighting vigillante. Bane was starting to get tired with all this , he really wanted to rest propably the serum he received to regain hsi youth still nedeed some work on the whole stamina issue but Batman didnt let him rest and kicks him really hard that Bane ends up on the ground all tied up .

"You still got it in you"said Barbara.

"Thanks"said Terry.

"Go help Lincoln and capture Mr. W"said Barbara to Terry which he did leaving her alone .

On the roof...

Mr. W was about to leave with his helicopter when a voice from behind called him .

"Youre not going anywhere pal"said Lori.

"Really and what makes you think , you can stop me?"asked Mr. W

Lori was about to speak again but she was grabbed from behind by Lady Vengeance , that was when Lincoln appeared and saw everything .

"Lynn let go of her she is youre sister"said Lincoln.

Lynn heard him and the word sister that was when she accidentally released Lori and her head was all fuzzy she didnt understood why alll she could see was images of every of the louds inside her head .

Mr. W saw this and wonders if this dosent mean that the brainwash is getting weaker , whatever the case this was his chance to get away but not without leaving something behind for his followers.

He takes out his gun and was ready to shot . Lori sees this and in slow motion she goes in front of both his sister and brother to protect them . Lincoln and Lynn heard multiple shots and then a body falling down on the ground.

"Looooooooori" yells Lincoln with all his might running towards her. Lynn seeing this her head was starting to hurt even more but then out of nowhere without understanding why she charges with all her anger towards Mr. W making him drop his gun .

That was the signal Mr. W nedeed to leave as he got inside the helicopter only to be kicked back by Lynn out of the helicopter.

"You ungratefull woman, you dare attacking me?"asks Mr W running towards Lynn and grabs her by her hands , but both didnt noticed they reached the end of the wall with both Lynn and Mr. W falling down .

"NOOOO" yells Lincoln putting Lori down and goes to see if Lynn is okay , saddly he couldnt see both of them which mean they could have survived . Lincoln return back at Lori to check on her , but then he sees something that makes him cry blood was coming from her body .

"lori dont you dare die on me. First mom and dad , no way im gonna lose you to"said Lincoln trying to stop the bleeding with rain starting to pour down . Thats when a hand reaches him , it was Lori starting to speak with him:

"Lincoln is everybody else okay?"asked Lori coughing.

"Dont speak now Lori ,youre losing to much blood"said Lincoln to her.

"Please tell me"said Lori again coughing for a second time.

"There okay , everyone is okay. Now please dont speak"said Lincoln.

"That is good to know. I finally was able to help you, take good care of them and remember i always will love you all"said Lori starting to close her eyes. Lincoln seeing this tried to speak and hope he will hear her voice again , but no matter how much Lincoln tried Lori has closed her eyes for good.

"Please Lori , open youre eyes. You cant throw the towel yet, how will i explain to the rest if youre gone. Please open youre eyes"said Lincoln with tears in his eyes begging his sister to open her eyes, that was when a hand grabs him by the shoulder seeing Batman saddly coming to late.

"Its over kid , she is gone kid"said Batman to him as the rain was not showing to stop anytime soon.

Lincoln in the end stopped getting up and trying looking at the cloudy was the second time he lost someone he tried to protect , question is how will his sisters react to tyhis when he will have to explain them.

"Youre Terry Mcginnis the previous Batman right?"asked Lincoln.

"Yes"said Terry taking off his mask.

"Tell me , is this why you stopped being Batman?"asked Lincoln again. Terry didnt said a word but Lincoln got the message.

"I see"said Lincoln going down to check on the rest of his sisters. Leni , Luna , Luan , Lucy , Lola and Lana , Lisa and Lilly were being taken care by the cops when they seen there brother coming there way, they wanted to speak but when they saw the sad face he was making they knew something was not right .

"Is everything okay bro?And where is Lori?"asked Luna.

"Guys i need to tell you something , and this is no joke at up to you if youl believe me or not"said Lincoln.

"What is it?"asked Luan.

"This whole mess is all my fault , because ... because i really am Batman and Lori ... is dead"said Lincoln following up by a thunder .
