HISS IN YOUR EAR.
The serpent crawls,
Alone and rejected,
Regretful, forlorn,
Shadows enfold him,
and Light abandons.
Stone and iron,
they welcome him.
You hear,
His hiss in your ear,
And sense
His inescapable bonds,
You are tied,
Once you hear
The serpent's hiss in your ear.
