"I need to talk to you, in private, as soon as possible."

Jack leaned over Vaughn's shoulder as Vaughn stared blankly at his computer screen.

"I'm kind of busy right now. Could this wait?"

"No, see you in five minutes."

Vaughn turned to reply, only to realize that Jack wasn't in the mood for negotiating, and he was already halfway down the corridor. Vaughn got up, adjusted his tie, and followed Jack down to the storage area.

"So, you wanted to talk to me."

"Have you been intimate with my daughter?"

"What? When - "

"It's a simple question Agent Vaughn. I am not blind, and I am not stupid."

"I never implied that you were sir, it's just that that is none of your business."

Jack raced towards Vaughn and grabbed him by the collar.

"Mr. Vaughn, Sydney is my daughter, therefore her business is my business."

Sweat started to pour down the sides of Vaughn's face.

"Give me your definition of intimate."

Jack's grip tightened.

"Mr. Vaughn, I know you have feelings for my daughter. But there are certain things you need to understand."

"Is this about breaking protocol because I for one - "

Jack let go of Vaughn. He backed up slowly, never losing eye contact.

"Screw protocol. If you hurt my daughter, in any way, I will hunt you down, and make it my personal duty to destroy you. Are we clear?"

Vaughn's eyes were wide with fear.

"Yeah, I think we're pretty clear."

Vaughn wiped off his forehead as Jack started to walk off. Jack quickly turned around as he was exiting.

"Oh, and one more thing, if you decide to get married or anything, let me know. I don't enjoy being left in the dust."
