So sorry for the long wait on this story! Let's get to it!

Ch.6

The next world came up before I knew it, and I could feel the excitement rising within me once again. After everything was set on the ship, we set to disembark on to the world.

When the light faded from the transportation, I could finally look around to see where we were. Right away I started to get a very strong sense of familiarity. The room we were in was a very large hallway that lead up to a grand staircase that splits into two different staircases in opposite directions.

It was Beast's castle! This was a place I knew well and I had actually visited on my own adventure! I tried to contain my gasp, but it slipped out anyways. I figured though it was okay to do so as Sora, Donald, and Goofy also seemed rather in awe about the place.

"Hey, what is this place?" Sora asked as he looked around.

"It's huge!" Donald exclaimed.

"It seems like a castle of sorts," I said, trying to play along as if I had never seen this place before.

"It's a bit of a gloomy castle then, don't ya think?" Goofy asked.

"I guess, but I can't say I have been to many castles to know for sure," I replied, again still pretending I was new to this.

"I wonder who would live in a place like this?"

I was about to give my answer, when a loud roar, belonging to none other than the Beast, rang through the castle. Much to my surprise the other three did not seem phase or even startled by such a tremendous roar.

"Hey, does anybody else recognize that?" Goofy asked inquisitively.

Another roar echoed around the place, adn Sora began to smile.

"Hey! That's the Beast!"

Donald nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

"Wait, how you do you the bea-" I started to say, but I was quick to stop myself. I needed to use my choice of words carefully, otherwise I felt they may think I already seemed to know more than I should have. "How do you know what that roar is I mean?"

"It's actually a friend I know, met him on my first journey," Sora explained. "So since we are here we should go and see him!"

"I hope he is doing okay," Goofy added.

We were beginning to move forward when something slinked across the ground in front of us. It only took a few seconds to see that it was a small little Shadow Heartless. It crossed the floor and heading into one of the rooms near us.

"Come on," Sora said. "Let's go after it!"

The four of us ran into the room and began to look around for where the Heartless could have gone, but on first glance we didn't see anything. Even Tippe flew out of my pocket and began to look around with us. Right away Donald wandered over to a table where the rose in its glass case was sitting. My eyes widened, why in the world the Beast would keep it down here, it was supposed to be up in his room.

"Maybe there are more differences here than what I am used to, after all things went differently for the most part with Mulan and her story. So maybe the stories I am use to aren't exactly the same in his world because of the Heartless and everything," I thought, trying to give a good reason for what I was seeing.

Suddenly the Heartless popped out of the ground, startling Donald. He squawked as he jumped back. "Found it!"

Right away more Heartless came up from the ground, surrounding us on every side. I summoned my wand as Tippe flew back into my pocket for safety. I then jumped at one of the Heartless, casting a thunder spell.

Before long we had taken out a great number of Heartless. I wasn't too sure how many though, but I knew it had to be quite a lot at this point. Even with all the work we had done, there were still more Heartless popping up!

"Aw, c'mon! Enough already!" Sora shouted in exasperation.

"Somebody help us!" Donald added in after Sora.

As if on cue, the doors to the room slammed open and the Beast walked in with quiet an angry look on his face. He didn't look at us, but he came in and began knocking away the Heartless, destroying them once they hit the walls or the floor.

Sora smiled once all the Heartless were gone and then ran up to the Beast. "Just in time!"

The Beast didn't even seen to look at Sora before he knocked him away. He walked over to the talk that had the rose, picking it up he clutched closely and then exited the room. I guess maybe he didn't mean to leave it there and came to retrieve it, but either way it seemed that Sora, Donald and Goofy were rather confused.

Tippe flew out of my pocket and looked at the group. "What happened?"

"Gee, I don't know," Goofy replied before looking to Sora and Donald. "Do ya think he maybe forgot who we are?"

"With this many Heartless around, something must be up," Sora replied.

"Well, let's go and find out then," I suggested as I headed to exit the room.

The guys followed behind me as we began to investigate around the room once more. Just as I started to look around, I thought I noticed something or someone near the top of the stairs. It was too quick, but I know I saw something that was blue, and I knew that could only mean one thing.

"Belle is here already!" I thought to myself. "But... she isn't the same Belle that I met before. I can't forget that this world or universe or whatever is different than my own for the most part. But still! I might get to see Belle again!"

"Kilala?" a voice asked snapping me from my thoughts.

"What? Huh… oh!" I looked to see Sora staring at me with a confused glance. "Did you say something?"

"Yeah, Donald said he saw someone at the top of the stairs. We figure it has to be the Beast's friend Belle. We were going to head up there to see if she knows why the Beast is acting strange."

"Oh! Okay, let's do that," I replied.

"Are you sure you are okay though? You looked a bit spacey… but also excited?" Sora asked as we started to walk up the long staircase that splits up to the east and west sections.

"I'm fine!" I replied quickly. "I was just excited to see- ah… to see what is going to happen next. I mean we are in a giant castle and stuff. Totally new to me."

Internally I was facepalming at my poor attempt to cover up how much I knew. I could only hope that Sora would buy it though.

"Ah, okay. I can understand. On my first adventure there were so many new places and people I met, it was a lot to take it," Sora said as we headed up the east staircase.

I sighed in relief that Sora didn't catch on to my lies, but now I found myself more curious about his first adventure. Thankfully there didn't seem to be any Heartless coming up on the walk, so I thought it would be a good time to try and ask some more about Sora.

"So where did you go then? Like what did you get to see?"

"There was a lot of places! We went to a deep jungle place, and another place was a desert, boy that was a really hot and dry one. Then there was also some other really cool worlds, but just in case we get to go to them, I want it to be a surprise," Sora said before smiling.

"Oh, I see! I can't wait!" I chimed happily.

Truly I was excited, and from the little bit of what Sora told me, I could figure out at least one place he had been too. I wasn't entirely sure on the jungle part, I would probably half to ask him for more hints later, but I knew for sure what the desert world had to be. It would have to be Agrabah which was where Aladdin and Jasmine were! If we got the chance to go there, I knew I would have a lot of fun seeing those two again, even if they weren't the versions that I knew.

When we got up to the end of the east wing, the door to the room was closed slightly. It was open a crack, but not by much. Sora shushed us and walked a little closer to the door and looked through the crack. I didn't get close enough though to hear what was being said, but the next moment Sora turned to us and pointed to the door.

I was about to ask what he was signaling for, when Donald spoke up first. "Okay."

He backed himself up and ran at the door, not even stopping when Sora called out for him. THough he didn't crash into the door, instead he flew forward and fell to the floor for Belle had open the door. I pressed my lips as best as I could to keep myself from laughing.

"Hey!" Donald shouted. "Who opened the door?"

Donald suddenly was picked up and hugged tightly by Belle. "Oh, I'm so happy you're here!"

She then looked to us and smiled. "Donald! Sora! Goofy!"

Sora waved and smiled back. "Hiya!"

Belle turned to me, looking a little curious, but then she smiled once more. "And oh, you have a friend with you this time."

"Hi," I said, thinking carefully not to make it seem like I had already met her once before back in my own universe. "I'm Kilala."

"Kilala, wonder to meet you," Belle replied.

Donald squirmed in her arms, struggling to get away from her hug. "Put me down! Put me down!"

Belle laughed and finally place Donald back on the floor. He shook his head, slightly dizzy for a moment, but then he regained himself. "Where's the Beast?"

Belle sighed, looking away from us. "Oh, he must be in the west wing. We don't talk like we used to."

"Oh! That's terrible to hear!" I said. "What do you think could have happened?"

"I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I do know it has to be something, but that's why you are all here, right?" Belle asked, looking at all of us.

Sora gave a shrug when all of us ended up looking to him. It looked like even he didn't know how to respond to what Belle had said.

Finally Goofy was the one to speak up. "We aren't exactly here for that, but we can still help!"

"Yeah," I agreed. "I would be glad to help out in anyway that I can!"

"Since we're here and all it makes sense," Sora added.

"So tell us what has been happening," I said. "Like is there anything else you know that could help us figure this out?"

"Well, he has been acting strange lately. I still don't know too much, but the only ones who might know why are locked up in the dungeon. I want to help them, but…"

Belle trailed off, sighing once more, and it left me with more questions than before. I already told myself that things would be different here, but it was still coming as a surprise to me. The stories that I was so used to were so different here. Though to be fair there were plenty of things that were different or not exactly the same in the Disney Princess worlds that I had gone to on my own journey.

When I had gone to the story of Beauty of the Beast on my journey, there were already a lot of things different, as well as things that I did that I didn't expect to see. I guess that is what it was, the stories were just stories, but being in them live and in the moment, things could go differently.

"Wait a second," Sora said. "Who locked who up?"

"The Beast locked up his servants," Belle answers.

I let out a short gasped upon hearing that, just another thing that was in this world that was different. Though I didn't know the full context of what had happened, it still seemed awful to hear that the Beast did that. I could only hope that there was a good explanation for it. It seemed the Belle didn't even know why the Beast had locked them up sadly, so we were going to have to head out and find out for ourselves.

Once Belle told us the location of the dungeon, we were ready to head out, though we took a moment to make sure we had everything we needed. Just as I was about to head out of Belle's room, I was stopped by her.

"So Kilala, you are a friend of Sora's?"

"Yeah," I answered, I just met him recently and now I am here to help him out on his journey."

"Well it's very nice to meet you Kilala. I hope that maybe we can get to know each other better, perhaps once all of this is sorted out, of course."

I gave a cheery smile. "That sounds really nice!"

Getting to meet Belle once again, even if it was the first time for her in this world, was more than enough to bring up my spirits about everything. The more I went along, and the more I did, it all got more exciting.

After heading out of the east wing, we made our way down to the west wing. There we pasted a short hallway that was filled with armored suits. After that we came to a section that had a staircase leading up, no doubt to where the Beast's room was.

Across from the staircase there was one of the Beast's servants. It just happened to be the rather boisterous but friendly wardrobe. She seemed to be asleep in front of doors that most likely lead to where we needed to go.

It all seemed like it would be easy going from here as Sora tried to push her away. Suddenly the wardrobe woke up and grabbed at us about how we woke her up. She then went right back to blocking the door.

"What are we going to do now?" Sora asked as he watched the wardrobe fall back asleep.

"I guess we gotta keep trying," I suggested.

"But how?"

"Hmm…" I hummed as I watched the wardrobe sleeping. "We just need to be real quiet and try not to move her too quickly."

"Right, got it!" Sora said.

I then went up to help him carefully push the wardrobe over as carefully and slowly as we could. It only took us a few minutes, but finally we got her past the door. But just as we were about to go over there and enter she woke up once more.

"And I was just starting to get comfortable… May I help you?"

"Oh! Um, I am very sorry we woke you up ma'am," I said as politely as I could. "But we need to get to the dungeon."

"And why would that be?" the wardrobe asked suspiciously.

Sora now stepped up to my side, still looking a bit fazed that he was talking to a wardrobe. "Belle wanted us to go down there to try and help."

"Oh goodness! You're all here to help my friends? Well, why didn't you say so?"

"Cause you were sleeping and wouldn't listen before," I thought to myself, knowing it was best to keep that to myself rather than say it aloud. I knew the wardrobe was nice, but she was just a bit odd sometimes.

"I'm sorry I startled you. Oh, I used to be human, you know, until the enchantress cast her spell. I was turned into a wardrobe when the prince was turned into a beast," the wardrobe explained.

I saw Donald and Goofy both go into a surprising level of shock upon hearing that. Even Sora looked rather astonished by that fact. Though it only took me a few seconds that I should probably seem like I had never heard of such a thing either. Despite my best efforts I kept forgetting that the others didn't know that I read stories and saw animated movies of all these characters from my own universe.

Though what I didn't expect was to have the wardrobe start to tell the story of how the Beast was cursed. It didn't last long though, with her only stopping after the first opening lines about the setting, resulting in all of us sighing heavily.

"Hurry, now. The dungeon is damp and chilly. Certainly no place for a clock!"

"A clock?"

"You'll find out soon enough," the wardrobe replied.

After that four of us entered into the undercroft and saw a strange door with created carved into the door. I stared at it deeply, trying to figure out what it was. I knew that in the movie of Beauty and the Beast, not every location of the castle was shown, but this just felt different. Something felt off about it.

It wasn't long though before I got my answers on my hunch. Donald had gotten close to the door and seconds later the creates came alive and began trying to attack us.

I gasped as I backed up. "Are the Heartless… like built into the castle now?"

Sora summoned his keyblade. "I don't know, but whatever they are doing we gotta stop them."

"Right!" I said before summoning my wand and doing what I could to attack this strange door statue Heartless thing.

Eventually it seemed liked the Heartless were defeated, and much to my surprise little dark spiked cloudy things floated out from the door and vanished. I blinked slowly trying to figure it out. "Wait… were those actually the Heartless?" I looked to the door to see that it was a normal looking, as normal as it could get in a cursed castle.

"I guess so, it is really strange though," Sora said as he finally opened the door. "It's like those Heartless were inside of the door or something."

Suddenly it clicked in my mind how that could have all made sense. "It's like they were ghosts or something that could possess it!"

"Oh, you know that actually makes some sense at least."

"You think this could be the dungeon?"

"Probably," Donald said as he walked through the doors once they were opened.

"Now we just gotta set those servants free!" Goofy added.

"Yeah, but where do you think they are? I don't see anybody," Sora said as he looked around once we were in the dungeon.

"Well remember how we just talked to a living wardrobe back there? Why shouldn't it be the same for the servants then?" I suggested, seeing as the boys were clearing thinking that the Beast had normal human servants locked up down here.

Off to the side I did see four rather familiar objects I knew were the Beast's servants, but they were staying still, most likely wary of random strangers

"Oooh, I get it now. But what could they be then? Maybe we should have asked Belle or that wardrobe."

"Excuse me, but did you say Belle?" a voice with a heavy friend accent asked.

"Shh! Keep quiet. It might be them."

"Oh, they look like nice people to me."

We looked over to see that Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip were all sitting on some chairs right next to us. I smile at them and nodded. "Yes, we're friends of Belle. She wanted us to come find you."

"Well that is awfully nice to hear," Mrs. Potts said before she hopped off the chair and to the ground below. The others followed in suit seconds later.

Now Sora stepped forward and he was the one to speak up. "I'm Sora," he then looked over at us and began to point. "Donald. Goofy. Kilala."

I waved happy at all of the servants. "I'm glad we found you guys, hope you are all okay."

"It is we who are overjoyed to see you!" Lumiere exclaimed.

"So is it really true that somebody put a spell on you guys?" Goofy asked.

Cogsworht nodded. "Yes, that's right! You've heard! It was the enchantress."

The three adult servants than began to tell the story of how the Beast became cursed. A story that I already knew by heart, but hearing it live from the servants was rather unique. I could feel that they were still heavily disheartened by what happened. It made sense of course, who wouldn't be upset if they were cursed to be a household item all because their prince was selfish.

"Wow…" Sora mumbled once the three had finished. "That's quite a story.

"I'm sorry that happened to you," I said, offering the best condolences that I could.

"Is there anything we can do to help?"

"Let's get the enchantress!" Donald exclaimed, causing me to sigh internally.

"If only they could know the full stories, then it could make more sense maybe," I thought to myself.

Thankfully Mrs. Potts shook her head at Donald. "Oh no, dear."

"We already know what needs to be done, but with the master out of sorts…" Lumiere added on, but at the end he trailed off.

"Do you know why he could be acting so weird?" I asked.

"It's hard to say dear. It's almost as if he's forgotten how to trust others."

"You don't suppose he's been turned into a Heartless, do you?" Cogsworth suggested out of the blue.

"Well we already know the Heartless are here," I stated. "So maybe they do have something to do with it."

"And if the Heartless are here, then we are here to put a stop to them," Sora said.

"Let's go find the Beast!" Donald said, now that we seemed to have some kind of plan in order.

Cogsworth clapped his hands together. "Splendid!"

Lumiere then headed over to a door that was near us. Follow me, messieurs and madame. I know a shortcut."

As we followed him, I had the feeling that all of this was going to get more complicated. There were still so many questions I had and wanted to know about how all of this worked or how different the story would be. I knew though I would find out in time, and if I could do anything to help, I would. I was brought here for a reason, and that reason was to help Sora, who already had done this once before. Somehow knowing that I was supposed to help him this time around made me wonder just how hard all of this was supposed to be.

I hope this chapter was good and all. I know I struggle writing things to add to this and whatnot to make it good, but I try as best as I can. If you have any suggestions let me know!
