So I wrote this a few days after watching 21x7 "Doubling Down" which was one of my favourite episodes for ages - the Heidi, Cartman, Kyle love triangle really hooked me and gave me loads of ideas so here's a little story focussing on Kyle after Heidi left him. Hope you enjoy!

Kyle stood gazing out of his window, jaw gaping. He felt like a hole had just opened up in his stomach and his heart had fallen into it. He couldn't get the image of Heidi walking away hand in hand with Cartman out of his head, and the way Eric had half grinned, half glared back at him through the window.

'Cartman'. He didn't even deserve a name, hell, he didn't even deserve to be called Fatass. He was worse than that. Kyle couldn't fathom a word to describe him at this moment. He thought he had won, he thought he had saved Heidi, and now not only had she left him, she had blamed him. She left him to go back to that waste of a human Eric Cartman. And yet, he still stood there, unable to move from the spot in his living room where she had left him, wondering if it was truly him who had manipulated her?

No. No it wasn't. He firmly convinced himself. Cartman had manipulated Heidi, and now he was getting to Kyle as well. He just couldn't work out how. How could he be that manipulative? How could Heidi think Kyle was the manipulative one when he was nothing but nice to her? He thought they had something so special, he realised he'd had feelings for her after so long, he'd been the only one who wanted to help her, he loved her. What more could he do? Yet Cartman got everything Kyle wanted from Heidi and more. Kyle was happy with just her company and affection but Cartman? He got to kiss her, hold her, tell her he loved her - not that he ever did. She even showed him her vagina! Why? Why did he get that but not Kyle?

Kyle's heart felt like it had fully sunk into his stomach now and it wasn't sitting well. He felt sick. He grabbed his phone from his pocket and unlocked it. The first two notifications only amplified his feeling - one; a text from Cartman reading "Suck it, Jew!" and another was a facebook notification reading "Heidi Turner is in a relationship with Eric Cartman". Kyle opened the later, and scrolled to the comments. The negativity from her friends perked him up a little bit, but he knew it would just fuel Cartman, and Heidi's reasoning to be with Cartman.

He slumped onto his living room sofa, opening the text from Cartman as he did. He opened the options on the messages and, without hesitation, pressed the block number button. His hand released from his phone letting it fall onto the sofa cushion next to him. This was it, this was the last time he'd let Cartman get to him. He was done. If he couldn't even win this one where he knew he was right 100%, what hope did he have against him in future? Heidi was gone, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back for Kyle, he knew now more than ever he needed to get away from Cartman, his group of friends, maybe even South Park, for good.
