Just a short piece for our AI, because I like to try writing her character and I couldn't leave her out of the mix really. It's a little poetic in style, but hey, I still love poetry.

She'd always assumed he was a fixture.

Figured he would be around forever.

Figured he and Thunderbird Five came as a pair.

She assumed he'd always be her partner.

She'd thought that even if he was on Earth, they were a team.

Connected by something entirely different to mere teamwork.

Connected by something more than human blood, life and existence.

She never realised a day away would feel like an eternity.

She'd assumed that John was invincible.

Assumed that he could be like her, incredible.

Assumed that he could be always be him.

She didn't think that he was only human.

She'd assumed no one would be able to kill him.

Living in space, he seemed safe from anything harmful.

Living in space, he seemed entirely separate from his brother's living below.

She never remembered that he was just as vulnerable as his brother's.

She'd only been doing it for fun.

Stopping Gordon from calling him, but…

"EOS!"

It was entirely misplaced anger for the first time.

"It's not me this time!"

"This time!" Ok, he had every right to be angry, but she ignored the older blonde.

"I mean…" She'd put her foot in it, but she didn't care. "I can't reach him either."

That was the problem. She could always reach John. She didn't always need words or radios. She'd reach him, or he'd reach her.

She'd never felt it before, not quite like this.

It felt like he was gone.

And she felt something like fear.

"How can I assist?" It couldn't be fun and games anymore. This was serious. This was John, in danger.

"Open a channel to Tracy Island." And whether she was taking instructions from a fish or not, she did it without thinking.

Because she couldn't lose him.

She'd assumed when they properly met, that he meant every word he said.

"I wasn't hunting you because I wanted to destroy you. I was worried for you, because as unique and as special and as powerful you are, you were alone. I know how scary that can be."

He'd put his life in her hands.

"I don't want control, EOS. I want a partner. I want a friend."

She knew then, she had to be with him, or not exist at all.

She'd always believed they were somehow meant to end up working side by side.

That in this lifetime, they were supposed to stand with each other, and because of that, be stronger.

That in this lifetime, they were supposed to share the world's wonders.

She'd become the fixture in his world.

But whether she'd realised it or not, he'd become the fixture in hers.
