Chapter 8: Luke
Luke's POV
I stared at the boy with blue eyes, wanting to see what Kronos saw in him, I had to fight Chiron to be on this team, he had looked at me with sadness and disappointment, it had been Dionysus who had just told him he could go.
"I don't get math Luke," Percy said and ran a hand through his hair, he hated been not smart enough, he was childish, and to naïve. That I could get out of him, he needed to be taught, how to fight.
"I want you to pick up a fencing class or something Perce," I said and waved a dagger in the air, threw it, and watched as it hit the center target.
"Why?" Percy asked and went back to trying to solve the math equation, he counted out loud and cursed, I was kind of surprised when it was in the Old Tongue.
"Because you never know when it will come in use," I gave back, green eyes studied me for a moment before nodding.
"I guess so," he grinned and finished the last equation. "Should we go see how Grover is?" He asks me.
"Go, enjoy your freedom" I answer, Percy dashes off, "enjoy the freedom, you belong to Lord Kronos," I whisper and begin to form a plan.
Percy was apart of Kronos' great plan for the world and he needed to be strong, he might be my lords consort… but I was his weapon.
NO ONES POV
Luke was a pretty cool TA, he knew when to push him and when to not, it made him comfortable, he knew he had seen Luke somewhere once before and was not sure when it was.
Luke taught him how to fight, and the gift he got for Christmas made him cry, a camera.
The camera was kind of old fashioned and when he finished taking the photo, the paper came out with the print, he put them in a book for safe keeping.
It was on boxing day that Percy began to dream of someone that looked like Kronos, but this seemed to eat at him, making him want to bow down and worship this man.
He told Luke the next day, the older teen had glanced at him and knelt to the ground.
"When he talks to you, you do everything you can to push his will out, our Lord is strong and we need to stand united, a war is coming Perseus Jackson and you need to be willing to chose the wining side," He said and walked out of the room.
Percy had to be prepared when the gods came after him, he had stolen the lightening bolt a few weeks ago and now it was the gods turn to make a move, and Percy was the pawn right in the middle.
