~~10 Years Later~~
"Roza!"
"Yes ma'am?" I said while I look up from my broom.
"Your pay for this week." My boss said while handing me a couple of coins.
"Thank you." I replied while putting the money away. I kept sweeping the street until my shift was over. When I put up my broom, and stood in line for my share slightly moldy bread. While I was waiting in line I overheard a conversation
about the lost princess Anastasia. They were talking about how our government keeps saying how that her being alive is a myth. But there are reports in Paris about her being alive and well living there. My friend Anya said she was going to go there.
Well I guess she did because I haven't seen here in a month. After it felt like an hour of waiting in line, it was finally my turn. I slid a coin over the counter and he gave me an extra loaf of bread. The thing is depending on who is around and behind
the counter you can bribe your way into an extra loaf. I take my two loafs of bread, then started walking home. I kept my loafs of bread hidden underneath my long trench coat. If anyone on the streets found out I had the slightest bit of food
I would probably get mugged. I walk to an abandoned alley way on the far side of town that had the most damage done during the revolution. Then move over to a hole hidden behind a wood plank, and I take a worn crossbody satchel out of it. I put my
bead in it and put in on. After that I start to walk to the house, well what's left of a house. I was almost home until a man stopped me. He was bigger than me, so if he attacks me he will over power me.
"Can you move please?"
"I will if you give me that extra loaf."
How did he know?
"I don't know what you are talking about?"
"I think you do."
"Leave me alone!" I then shoved him out of the way and made a break for it.
