'Thoughts'

(With Pitch)

The spirit of fear had finished his job up. He had been in New York. He had spread fear to the necessary people and left to return home. He was tired and wanted to sleep. He kept his guard up. He knew that those guardians would contact him and he had no idea when. He silently cursed Harry in his head. That brat made them see reason and now they were going to bug him.

'Of course. They couldn't wait until tomorrow.' He thought tiredly.

"Ah! There you are Pitch." North said.

Standing near his home were the guardians minus Jack. He rolled his eyes and went over to them. He wanted to get it over with as soon as he could so that he could go to sleep. Hopefully afterward they would leave him alone. He knew that what he had done was wrong. He paid for that. He had no plans to try it again. Harry helped to keep him sane and thanks to him he had believers again.

"Let's just get this over with. Yes I tried to take over the world. After I lost all my believers and could barely do anything I had gone crazy. That was why I did what I did. I went from being all powerful to being invisible. I blamed you. After what happened I was back to the way I was when you all took away my believers the first time. People need fear. I am doing my job. I have no plans on taking over the world." He told them.

They all looked surprised. Symbols appeared over Sandy's head. Pitch had no idea what he was saying. North seemed to. He nodded his head.

"Sandy's right. We owe you an apology. We have felt what it's like to lose believers and become weak. It felt terrible. You have paid for your crimes and yet we hounded you. We are very sorry." He said and the others apologized as well.

The golden eyed man looked at them all before sighing. "Thank you for that. I shall forgive you this time. Just leave me alone and I shall leave you all alone as well."

"Of course." Tooth said.

Pitch turned to go into his house when he stopped. He turned and looked at them all. His words surprised them once more.

"When you do find out why the seasonal spirits lied about Harry please send me a letter. He is a dear friend to me and I would like to know." He said.

"We will." North promised. "Goodbye Pitch."

"Goodbye." He entered his house.

The guardians stood there for a few minutes. Now that they talked to Pitch, they needed to talk to the seasonal spirits. North looked at his fellow guardians and friends.

"I think we should each tackle a group. I shall take the winter spirits." He said.

"I'll take the Spring and Summer spirits. Between me and Sandy we can handle them." Bunnymund offered getting a thumbs up from Sandy.

"Good. I'll take the Fall spirits." Tooth said.

"Alright. Let's get to work." They all split up.

(With North)

When he returned to his home he called the winter spirits. He just hoped that he would get the answers he was looking for. He felt guilty. Not only did he believe the summer and spring spirits without looking into it but he never noticed that no seasonal spirit liked Jack. It did explain why he was on his own and some of his behaviors. As he thought about it he wondered how he had missed the signs. They weren't subtle at all.

Soon the room was filled with winter spirits. None of them looked pleased to be there. They remained silent as they waited for North to speak. He wasn't going to keep them waiting.

"I called you here because I heard some disturbing news. Let's start with the first piece of news I heard. The summer and spring spirits lied to the guardians." He told them.

"What do you mean?" A male spirit asked.

"They told us that they witnessed Reaper murdering some children and that he was plotting with Pitch to take over the world. That is a lie." He said.

"Duh! We could have told you that." A female spirit snorted. "I bet even Jack knew that."

"Why do you hate Jack?" He asked.

"He gets all the credit for what we all do! He had movies made about him and he is in a song! He gets praised for every snowflake that falls. He isn't the only one making it snow and he gets the credit. It's not fair!" A third spirit yelled.

"That's all?" He asked in shock.

"No. He nearly ruined Easter with a blizzard and now he's a guardian. How is that fair?" He asked.

"Did you ever do anything to him?" North asked. 'They better not have.'

"No. We aren't like the other seasonal spirits. We don't lie and all we did was avoid Jack." The female from earlier said.

"Good. Why do you hate Reaper?" He asked next.

"We don't hate him. We just don't like him. He told us off for how we treat Jack. He should mind his own business." She told him.

"Why do the others hate him and Jack?" He asked.

"They hate all winter spirits because they believe we kill their precious nature. As for Reaper, we have no idea." She said.

"I see. Thank you for coming and answering my questions. You're free to leave." He said.

They all left. What North didn't know was that some spirits didn't show up. He also didn't know some of those who did were also the ones who would see Jack getting beaten up and would watch from a safe distance. He wished the others luck and hoped they had gotten more information then he did.

(With Aster and Sandy)

Aster waited in an open field. He was waiting for the spring spirits. He would question them first. Sandy was off hiding. They weren't sure how they would react and wanted to be prepared. The spring spirits were late and they both knew it was on purpose.

'Children.' Bunnymund thought. 'They are just trying to irritate me. I spent a lot of time with Jack. It's hard to irritate me now.'

It took another hour before they finally showed up. They were all smirking at him. Unknown to the guardians there were a few spring spirits that weren't there. A brunette male clothed in green and blue stepped forward. He gave Bunny a bow.

"You called oh great guardian?" He mocked.

"Cut the shit." Aster gave him a deadly glare that made the spirit flinch. "I know you lied to us."

"What?" He asked as he regained his confidence.

"Reaper isn't a murderer." He said.

"Oh that." The group laughed.

"Why did you lie to us?" He asked.

"We don't have to tell you anything." The spirit said.

"I will go to Mother Nature." He threatened.

"Yeah right. I don't care if you do." He laughed. "We don't have to talk to you. Bye bye giant bunny." He said before the group left.

"Assholes." The Easter Bunny muttered. "Won't they be surprised when we actually do go to Mother Nature."

Sandy silently agreed to them. Unknown to the spring spirits but they had contacted the woman before they called them for a meeting. They let her know what was going on. She was furious and told them to come to her if they were unhelpful. She had no idea how they managed to hide all this from her but they were in for a rude awakening. She had punishments planned for their lying and it would be worse now that they refused to cooperate with the guardians.

Now the two waited for the summer spirits. Both hoped North and Tooth had better luck then they were having. Luckily the spirits arrived on time. Unluckily they didn't let Bunnymund speak. They glared at him.

"We know why you called us. We won't be telling you anything." A female spirit told him before they left.

"Let's go tell Mother Nature." Bunny said.

Sandy agreed as he walked up to him. Two pictures appeared over his head.

"I hope they got more information as well. I doubt it though." He said.

The dream guardian nodded before the two left. They went to Mother Nature's garden. They informed her what had happened. She promised to talk with them. They left to go see how the others were doing.

(With Tooth)

The minute she called the fall spirits a few showed up. They told her they weren't talking to her before leaving. To her shock another group showed up. A blonde dressed in a red dress was the one to talk.

"We are sorry about the others. They side with the summer and spring spirits that lied to you." She said.

"You knew?" The fairy asked.

"We learned of it when you called. Had we known we would have told you." She said.

"Why did they lie?" She asked.

"They hate Reaper. He told a lot of us seasonal spirits off for how we were treating the winter spirits." She explained.

"How did you treat winter spirits?" She asked.

This time it was a male spirit who began talking. He had brown hair and was dressed in golden brown and red. He looked very guilty.

"We hated winter spirits and the ones that just left still do. We had thought that they were killing nature. We now know that they don't. Some spirits just ignored them. I regret to say I wasn't one of them. If I saw one on their own, like Jack, me and some others would beat them up and use our magic on them." He admitted.

Tooth gasped in shock and horror. "How could you?"

"I don't know. Back then I didn't care. It was payback for killing nature and destroying my hard work. Reaper heard what we were doing. He told us off for it." He said as he teared up.

"Some of us took what he said to hear. We realized how… fucked up we were." Another spirit said as he hugged the boy.

"The fall spirits that had come here before us agree with the others. I know that a few seasonal spirits didn't show up when the other guardians called for them. They don't agree with the lies nor the treatment they give other spirits. Some of them are like Tony. They used to beat them up until Reaper told them off. Some winter spirits would help their fellow winter spirit while others would leave before they too were beaten up. There were some who had shown up to the meeting at the North Pole who would watch the other spirits beat Jack up. They enjoyed watching that due to petty jealousy. Those who didn't show up to the meeting are like us. We are afraid. The mass majority of spirits threatened to burn us if we talked." The first spirit said.

"I see." She was horrified by what she learned. "You may stay here for safety and so can the others who are afraid. I will tell Mother Nature about this."

"Thank you." She hugged Tooth.

"You're welcome." She hugged her back.

"Um.." Tony looked at the guardian. "Can you ask Jack to meet with us? We apologized to the winter spirits that don't enjoy watching others get beaten. We need to apologize to him."

"I can ask but I can't promise you anything." She said as she backed out of the hug with the female fall spirit.

"I understand. Thank you." He said.

"You're welcome. I'll be back." She said before leaving.
