Hello People. Welcome to my first ever story. I had a thought about Anabel looking alike with Acerola, and thus the idea of this story is created. More details at the end of this chapter. Hope you enjoy.

Disclamer: I don't own Pokémon, or else Anabel would be a main character, and Acerola will appear already in the SM anime...

Chapter 1: The Faller

The sun was setting along the Alolan coastline. The waves splashing, palm trees rustling over the wind, and Wingulls cooing.

The peacefulness is upheld again in the Alolan Island Poni.

It didn't last long, though. A tiny swirl of purple appeared from the sky out of nowhere. The swirl went faster and faster, and eventually a hole, growing in size, and white from what it looks outside, is formed. From the still-growing hole, out came a purple to lilac-haired girl, who looks in her early 10s, in her white shirt with lilac sleeves, and matching pants. In her hand was a basket, with a blanket which looked like it could fly off anytime. Slowly, the girl left the hole, and started freefalling. Hugging the basket tight, she fell faster and faster into the calm Alolan sea, while the purple hole that sent them in started to fade.

With a tremendous splash, both the girl and the basket fell into the water. The girl struggled and struggled, while the basket floated, and was pushed by the waves on the shore. The girl soon followed, gasping, "Must get out, must get out…" before falling unconscious.

Just yards away from the very shore, two men were just about to pay for their dinner and call it a day.

"I mean, it isn't the best result, Mr. Nanu, but…"

"'Isn't the best result?!'"Yelled Nanu, "You got a human hurled into a wormhole stuff and now she is gone forever, and you call that a small issue?! That would get you fired straight from your first mission, Looker!"

"I'm sorry, sir, I have to admit it isn't my best plan, and there is human loss in our mission, but at least we can confirm the beast we are supposed to investigate on is right from the start a powerful pokémon…"

"I have to agree that monster is no match with all of mine," Started Nanu, "But… No, no buts. We are both guilty in her loss, and I, instead of you, will be punished. I am your superior, after all."

"Mr. Nanu…"

The two were walking and discussing about the success of their mission (And being Looker's first) when they saw the girl, unconscious and washed up onto the shore. The basket just inches from her.

"Wait. Was that…?"

"It's a drowned young lad. Let's go and help him."

They ran towards the girl, whom she was mistaken as a boy. Looker held her wrist and checked her pulse.

"Quite a fast pulse. He is not responding. Should we take him to the pokémon centre, sir?"

"Yes, Looker, and quick!" Nanu yelled at his subordinate.

Just as he was leaving, while Looker carried the girl and hurrying to the pokémon centre, he noticed the basket.

Nanu had a look at the basket. Inside the cover was a baby, looked nothing older than three months. She wore a one-piece with a Drifloon patch on the front. A napkin was hung just below the saliva-dripping mouth, with a capital letter 'A' sewed on it. He lifted the basket, and gently, he ran after Looker.

At the hospital, Looker and Nanu looked distraught, wondering how their day could be worse, finding an unconscious person after losing a companion on their mission. The Chansey light at the top of the operation room switched off after what seemed like ages. Looker immediately ran towards nurse Joy and her partner pokémon Chansey. "How is the boy?" He asked, worriedly.

"And the baby?" Added Nanu.

"Boy? Oh, you mean the girl you carried here. She's was bruised all over, and she needed some rest. She should be awake in an hour or two though. The baby on the other hand…" Nurse Joy paused.

"The baby?" Nanu asked, slightly more calm than Looker but still in the same worried tone.

"She is absolutely fine, apart from being a bit hungry."

"That's good news. Thank you, nurse Joy."

"Now if you'll please, I'll be back to the counter."

Nurse Joy left the waiting room. Looker fell to one of the waiting chairs. "At least they will be fine."

The lilac girl returned to her senses soon, just to realize there is a man in his waistcoat and shirt and tie sitting beside her, dozing off.

"Where... am I?"

Looker dropped his head, got awake, heard the girl speaking, and quickly replied. "You're finally awake miss. You're in Poni Island's pokémon centre, the hospital wing…"

The girl's reaction interrupted him. "Hospital?! Acerola! ACEROLA! Do you know where my sister is?" Fear was filled in her Lilac eyes.

"If you're looking for the baby in the basket beside you, she is alright. My boss Nanu is with her at the moment." Looker showed his identity card to the girl at the same time. "I am an International police, by the way. My name is Looker."

"I'm Anabel… Mr. Looker, why am I here? Where on Pokémon World is this Poni Island?"

"You are found unconscious by the shore in this Island in the Alola region."

"Alo...la? How far away is Hoenn from here?"

"Hoenn? Is that where you're from? I'm afraid it's half a Pokémon World away."

"WHAT?!"

Just as Looker tried to ask her questions, Nanu ran into the room, Carrying baby Acerola on his left hand, and the energy detection machine on the right. "It's unbelievable! There is a high energy source, originated from the wormhole and the beast pokémon in this baby girl!"

"Acerola!" Anabel yelled. "Please, give me back my sister!"

The machine's buzzer went off again as Nanu handed the baby to Anabel.

"That's just impossible! There is a high energy detected from the girl as well!"

"Sorry sir, my name's Anabel."

"Wait… If we can detect high energy from Anabel and Acerola… Aren't they…"

"Fallers?" Nanu and Looker looked at each other in shock, leaving a confused Anabel holding a laughing Acerola on her hospital bed.

AND that's it for chapter 1! The whole story's gonna be a Sun and Moon Abilityshipping fanfic in the anime with a few major changes:

·Ash will be 23 in the series, Anabel 22. They were 13 and 12 when they meet and battle each other in the Battle Frontier.

·Acerola is Anabel's younger sister, and Nanu will take care of him just the same as the game's plot.

·As Ash is 23 he arrives at Pokémon school as a TEACHER instead, and Acerola will be in his place as student

The next chapter would be a short one, with a mini story of how Anabel got into International Police. Ash should appear from chapter 3. So until then, See you later!
