Author's Note:

OH boy, I messed this one up! I skipped posting a whole chapter, the one with most of the good stuff! So, please re-read Chapter 3, which is the missing chapter, and the notes I've added to Chapter 4 (previously Ch 3).

From now on, I'm including Prologues in with the first chapter! And no more posting at 3:00 AM!

And good news, I've heard from Aleta6, the poser of the question/suggestion that prompted these stories! YAY!

Also, the first chapter of the 2nd story, 'Connections', will be posted sometime on Sunday, Aug. 27th.
