Heyo, guys! XxVallirenxX back with the madness!

It is is the one-year anniversary on FanFiction for Circus4APsycho8, or Circus-Chan as I call her. Since her stories were what inspired me to write for Ninjago, I decided to write this Cole x Nya one-shot as a gift.

To Circus— I hope you stay on here for a long time and... happy anniversary!

The earth and water intermingle, fighting and conflicted, soothing and comforting, balancing each other out in a way no other can.

Silvery heels tapped on the ground, opaque dress shifting with every slight movement.

A rice-milk pale hand gripped lilies and roses tightly, hinting at the tremor of fear in her stance, exotic flowers just as beautiful as her.

Like a goddess. Carrying herself with such grace Hera herself would have been jealous.

They were balancing here, on the cusp of a new world. With two words, a single bond formed like none other. The eternal paradox of a final choice, lasting forever yet only for a short time.

Rosy lips that whispered his name in the most beautiful, innocent way a voice could whisper. Fingers, calloused and bruised from constant training that glided so elegantly over his. The tip of a glass of champagne. The glint of a gilded ring, the beginning of a whole nother world, stepping beyond boundaries that were once considered impossible.

The way she perched in the grass, wearing the cheongsam she had been wearing when he first met her. Golden sun glinting off radiant hair that would make any woman envious, a dazzling smile that would light up a room.

Water and earth are two life-giving forces, giving us humans the abilities we have.

Destined to bring life into this world.

The cry of an infant, cradled by her mother. The feel of a father's kiss on her forehead.

*.*.*.*.*.*

Water nourishes, earth raising and providing. And thus, humans grow.

She was five now. There was a bright shine in those chocolate eyes, the thriving life that showed through in her beautiful demeanor.

*.*.*.*.*.*

Hardships plague the earth and sea, storms and quakes, disturbing humans.

She was ten, but not afraid to cry. And cry she did, watching the battle rage, fearing for her treasured family.

*.*.*.*.*.*

But the world is everlasting. And to the earth and water, we are the world.

They had watched her grow, the single thing that could spark the flame of hope within them.

*.*.*.*.*.*

The water and earth may wear away, but always begin anew.

It was the end. Their daughter had said goodbye, they could end this peacefully.

The power of water and earth lived on, giving the power of life.

The life that was ending.

Their hands gripped, the earth and water resting in eternal, harmonious unity.

Whew, you have no idea how many times I had to go back and forth between this and a thesaurus while writing this.

I hope you guys enjoyed it and I'll see you soon!

XxVallirenxX... out!
