Chapter 7

It was a month later; a black hole appears in the dining hall.

In the day after Rogue's… steamy affair with Levi ended, you can find Eren and Levi all over each other… yup! All over each other, it was quite cute and disgusting at the same time. Especially when Eren would do whatever the hell he can to spoil Levi, who to the shock and horror of every living person in the survey corps, smiles at Eren and even laughed when the younger scout joked around. Mikasa was disturbed and nearly screamed her head off about a million times already. Armin was so proud of Eren he shed few tears of joy, which slightly made Eren concern about him. Hanji cackle madly about her baby finally doing it? And Erwin trying to ignore all of that and keep his confused smile on his face as best as he can, the rest of the scouts? Well, Levi was happy and stopped being a demon, they all were happy.

So they all endured a month of Eren and Levi being disgustingly cute and in love, the training with captain Levi was pleasant for once… so they all let the couple be. Rogue and Rivai, on the other hand, spent it giggling and smirking… well, Rogue smirked and Rivai giggled but that was beside the point. Also, Rogue start training the scouts for farther expeditions which, to tell the truth? It was not cool! Cause he was like Satan out of hell and was even worse than Levi if that was possible. Oh! And let us not forget him taking Levi and Eren to train, they all saw captain Levi in tears, which made them all scream in horror, he limps too… they didn't pay much attention to the later cause you know… reasons.

So today after a cruel torture season with Rogue, they all were in the dining hall trying to eat their food… or more of trying to lift the spoon without their hands giving on them… Oluo already thrust his head into his bowl of soup and tried to eat his food like that… Levi didn't even have the heart to scream at him about how disgusting that was… which was saying something about how tired they all were.

Suddenly there was light…

And a black hole appearing in the middle of a dining hall making everyone jump and squeak like a bunch of girls. Out of it appear…

Hange Zoë…

Who looked like he was run over by a titan and lived to tell the tale, he grins tiredly and waved to Rogue, who frown and pointed his pistol at the poor bastard. Rivai on the other hand squeal in delight and went to hug the other man making Rogue growl and Hange to laugh happily and hug the younger kid. "Hello, there munchkin." Said Hange hugging Rivai. "Rogue." Hange nods his head making Rogue huff at that, but the twitch of his lips gave him away. "Are you ready to go home?" Asked Hange making Rogue pauses and stand up at that.

"Wait! You are leaving?" Asked Hanji in distress making Hange look at her with a fascinated look, but a growl from Rogue made him back away with a nerves laugh.

"Of course." Said Rogue, making the hall turn deadly silent, everyone was looking at one another with a mixed kind of emotions making Rogue sighs at that. "You didn't expect us to stay here forever, did you?" Rogue questioned making a lot of people shrug and gaze at their feet.

"Well… we hoped you will stay longer…" Said Eren fidgeting a little making the rest of the room nods at that, Levi was having a mixed look on his face, when he gazes at Rogue he smiled a little, a resigned look on his face, though he was happy for Rogue and Rivai, he was thankful for them for getting him and Eren together… and maybe a few more things.

"We can't," said Rivai with a small smile and a shrug. "We want to, but we can't… I'm going to miss you all." Said Rivai with teary eyes, he ran to hug Levi and Eren tightly then he let the two of them go and went to hug his friends one by one.

"We have to leave Rogue," Hange said making the brunet look at him. "A lot of things changed when the two of you were here." He said with a small smile. "History has rewritten itself… and I think you should see it, to believe." He grinned happily making Rogue pause and raises his brow at that.

"Rivai!" Rogue called out making Rivai look at the older man then at his friends waving goodbye. Rogue looked at Levi and Eren and smiled a little waving his hand. The three of them went through the black hole and was never seen again…

Their friends didn't forget about them even after centuries has passed…

When the trio finally reached their time, they saw their friends waiting for them with happy looks and laughter. Isabel and Farlan hugged Rivai tightly crying on his shoulder, they threaten to lock Rivai in a high tower so no harm can reach him ever again, Rivai laughed at that and hugged them in return. Rogue's squad run to him screaming about how careless he was, then resume crying and hugging him as well, making the man grunt in disdain but the small smile on his face said otherwise. Erwin and Mike Smith just nod their heads and congratulate Rogue on returning to safety… they went on their way after that leaving Rogue to snort at the way they showed their concern in thought he was thankful. The rest of their friends? Well, let's leave it for another time.

Hange also told them what happened after they went on their time travel journey… well more of took them out to see… earth had changed… it became more and more beautiful, the proud place it should have been. Hange grinned happily and took them to a museum, Rogue rolled his eyes at that but froze at what he saw when they entered, Rivai's gasp was the only thing that snapped them out.

The future changed… and the two of them made that possible.

The museum was an honorary place for the soldiers who died in Ymir's era, with hologram figures and explanation and the whole life of every soldier. They went to their friends, hoping to see how their lives ended.

Erwin and Mike Smith…

They both lead the survey corps to victory against the titans; Erwin had lost his arm in the final battle but still, he fought to the end, he ends up quitting his position as a commander after the war and became the queen's adviser, he married Hanji as it seems and was happy until his dying day at the age of seventy. Unfortunately, Mike died while protecting his squad, but he was honored for his great sacrifice.

Hanji Zoë…

She took the lead after the final battle becoming the commander of the survey corps, she lost her eye in the batter but not her spirit as is seems, with the scouts she was able to recover the lands that were stolen from them, she write all of her adventures in books that became famous for years and years to come, she and Erwin had many children to carry their legacy… she died in one of her adventures, but the scouts who were with her said she died with a smile on her face.

Armin Arlelt and Mikasa Ackerman…

The two of them took the world by storm, Armin dedicated his life to his studies publishing several books about the world around them, people said he had also written the future that Eren Yeager told him about, which to the shock of everyone, happened and continued to happen until in the year of 2019 people decided to change their course of life, and became better, stopping a lot of wars that said to have taken place in the future. As for Mikasa, she was one of the queen's loyal guards, the strongest after Levi, she stopped a lot of assassination on the queen's life, there was so little to say about her, but she ends up marrying Armin and having a child they named Eren, honoring their dead friend.

And lastly but not least, their past selves…

Eren Yeager and Levi Ackerman fought bravely in the war; they made the win possible for humankind. Eren was hailed a hero; his sacrifice was admired by all. He and Levi ended up getting married and traveling around the world with Hanji until Eren and Levi opened an orphanage for the children with the help of the queen, they all lived happily until Eren died at the age of 23… after his thirteen years was up… Eren's funeral was attended by everyone inside of the walls, giving their farewell to the hero who freed them, Levi took over the orphanage taking care of the children until he died thirteen years later, and was buried beside Eren… it was unknown to anyone other than their friends where they were buried, even to their day. Legends always surrounded the pair, the famous one is when Eren died; some said that on his deathbed, he told his husband when humanity was going to ends, Levi never told anyone when that date was, but he always watch people with sad looks and resigned smiles, some said that Eren told Levi when he was going to die, that's why Levi was always happy in his last year of life, he knew when he was going to join his lover… and some, some said that when Eren thirteen years was up, he told his lover to eat his still-beating heart, to gain his titan's power for humanity still needs at least one titan shifter to protect it if something happened, that's why Levi died thirteen years later… most people believe in the last legend more than the other two mainly because of the thirteen years' time… but in all of the tales, they always take the concept of Eren seeing the future and warning them from what happened… Rogue knew he shouldn't have done that, but he couldn't help it, he had to tell them…

Rivai was heartbroken at that, but Rogue hugged him tightly telling him that this was the happy ending that the two of them had longed for, it was better than the original ending… in the original ending… after the war ended and lots and lots of people's deaths, Eren Yeager was sentenced to be imprisoned for life, he was imprisoned in the underground and was tortured for three years until his death, before his death… he curses all humanity with death and war, he roared and screamed for three days, and everyone in the kingdom heard him and his curse… after his death Levi Ackerman had lost his mind, he went on a killing spree killing more and more each day, causing fear and distress all around the land, civil war broke out and lots of people inside of the walls died… Eren Yeager's curse became true and fear took over every person inside of the walls after they saw Eren's grave was dugout. Levi and Eren's corpse was never seen again… the survivors of the curse were no more than a thousand people… that's why Eren Yeager and Levi Ackerman were the most hated names in the Ymir era to their day… for Eren's curse of war and death followed humanity no matter where they went…

They left the museum because Rivai couldn't take it anymore, he ends up crying all the way to their home, Rogue stayed silent as he didn't know what to say. When they reached home Hange got out of the car and led them into his lab. Silently he handed them a book with a grin. Rogue took the book and opened it on the first page… he smiled and gave it to Rivai to read.

Dear Rogue and Rivai…

Thank you for giving us our chance at happiness, we owe our happiness to you two. May your days be filled with joy and love as ours were…

Finally!

So we finally reached the end of this story, and to tell the truth, I'm happy it's finally over…

People may wonder why I rushed to the end… and to tell the truth, I start losing interest in the story, and it seems like no one liked it that much, other than few who I am grateful to them for liking it…

I had two choices… it was either me deleting the story or leaving it on a long hiatus… but that's not me, I don't leave my stories unfinished, so I rushed the story to the end… and here we are!

I hoped that you liked the story and you will continue following me on my adventures and other stories.
