(Disclaimer: I do not own the characters nor the song.)

This is a One-Shot. I may just add all my one-shots together into one story, but for now they will be separate based on different songs. Hope you enjoy nonetheless!

"Wildest Dreams" - Taylor Swift

Laughter bubbled up her throat at the adrenaline coursing through her veins. Her hair was let loose; twining and twirling in the wind. Her painted red lips pulled back revealing sparkling white teeth, relishing in her enjoyment. She didn't picture that it would be like this when he had walked her to her house from the Grill. But she should have seen it coming from the way he was acting around the many people that lived in the small town known as Mystic Falls. He was getting antsy and he was growing weary of his family's antics as well as the antics of her own friends.

He said, "Let's get out of this town, darling. Away from everyone's' prying little eyes."

She agreed. Simply because she was just as weary as him. Not only because he was tall, handsome and known as the bad boy. She was attracted to him despite his reputation, and she just needed to get away. She could care less if what they had at the moment ended. She felt so alive in the passenger seat of his car, continuing to drive on to God knows somewhere. They both had no destination in mind, but that didn't matter at all to either of them.

She closed her eyes against the setting sun, even as she wore a pair of sunglasses. The warmth against her skin, gave her olive skin a rosy tint to her cheeks. The cool breeze helped soothe her against the sun, as it wrapped around her dress clad body.

"What are you thinking love?" He asked, tilting his head in her direction. She turned towards him, his eyes also covered by a pair of sunglasses. A smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as he reached his right hand to caress the side of her face. She smiled softly, kissing his hand before he went to entwine his fingers with her own.

"I just never thought this would happen. Us on the road. You away from your family. Me away from my friends and brother," she sighed. Her body slumping down against her seat, feeling truly relaxed ever since vampires and other mystical beings first started making an appearance in her life.

He grinned, looking back at the road ahead of them.

"You paint a very appealing picture, darling," he began. She gazed back at him with doe eyes filled with curiosity. He met her eyes and continued, "Cheeks blushing red, those tantalizing red lips of yours that remind me of blood, and the dress is a nice touch. But you know I prefer you tangled up with me naked in bed all night." He snapped his fangs playfully at her with that last comment. She rolled her eyes at his crudeness, but couldn't help but think back on the nights he spent in her bedroom with his hands woven in her dark hair and her nimble fingers tossing his clothes blindly everywhere. Sometimes she wonders when he'll leave her, because she wasn't a vampire. She was human AND the doppelganger, which would cause any relationship between them to end at some point.

She was so lost within her mind that she didn't notice the concerned expression in her companion's dark eyes that was hidden behind the sunglasses. Unbeknownst to her, his train of thought was rolling down the same path as hers. But even if it did end, he would remember her in this moment indefinitely and bring back the memories of her Wearing a nice dress, staring at the sunset with red lips and rosy cheeks. Even if the moment came when they had to go their separate ways, he'd want to see her again. But if he can't gaze at her like he is now, he always could see her in his wildest dreams.
