The Apocalypse Scenario

Part One: the Phoenix Agenda

The Whitehouse

1972

President John F Kennedy looked out the Whitehouse window seriously. The War wasn't going well and he knew he would have to make a decision soon. After a moment, he pressed a button on his desk. "Sent in my secretary."

A secret door in the back of his office opened and Presidential secretary Sally Hemings entered, cradling a baby. "Good morning, Mister President."

"Good Morning, Sally. How's my secret son Barack doing?" President John F Kennedy asked.

"Oh, he's good, he's good," Sally Hemings assured him.

"It's Barack Obama," President John F Kennedy replied.

"I know," Sally Hemings replied.

"This baby is Barack Obama," President John F Kennedy said again.

"I know," Sally Hemings said.

"And he's my son but nobody knows it," President John F Kennedy said helpfully. "Barack Obama."

Sally Hemings nodded. "He's going to be a great man, but I wish he could follow in his father's footsteps some day and become President of these United States."

"So do I," President John F Kennedy replied. "But the invasion from Vietnam is getting worse every day and I know their spies are going to kill me soon. That's why I'm giving you this ruby necklace. With this he can prove to that world that he is the rightful President."

Sally Hemings took the necklace gratefully. "I will keep it safe for you, Mister President. And one day, your son will stand at the Lincoln Memorial with this necklace and finally unify these States!"

President John F Kennedy nodded. "We can only hope so."

Now

"...and that's the story," President Barack Obama said. "The necklace was lost when my father died in Vietnam and I need you to recover it to prove I'm the rightful President."

Burt Macklin nodded tersely. "I understand completely," he said gruffly. "But could you tell the story again anyway because your voice is so awesome?"

President Barack Obama nodded and told the story again two or three times, working on his impressions and trying out the finger puppets. Once he was done, he looked Macklin in the eyes and said "needless to say, this is a secret mission. No one else can know what you're doing, not even the rest of the FBI."

Macklin smiled gruffly and put on his sunglasses. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Elsewhere...

Igor ran from the Viewing Globe excitedly. "Boss! Boss!"

Hidden in the shadows where no one could see his face, the hidden villain Hitler sat behind his throne. "Yes, Igor."

"They're sending Burt Macklin to retrieve the Presidential Ruby Necklace!" Igor shouted.

"Excellent," Hitler replied. "We'll take it from him and then I will be President of the United States!"

"But no one can stop the FBI's best!" Igor whined.

Hitler's hidden face smiled coldly. "No one except the other FBI's best... Michael Scarn."
