Disclaimer: Any characters or things you don't recognize are mine, and I don't own Harry Potter.

Other: James and Lily are in their six year.
Has a bit of Jily and Marlene/Sirius.

Please don't use my idea, as it's very hard to think of a plot and put it into words. I really don't like it when people copy other's hard work and it bothers me. Thanks!
If you want to translate it, however, I'd be more than happy to let you, just ask me before doing so.

Enjoy!

"Oi, Lily! What was that game you were talking about at dinner? Do tell us," James called, running after Lily one day after dinner, his clever brain eager to do some pranks.

Lily turned to him, raising her eyebrows as she eyed his disheveled appearance. Marlene, who had been standing next to her crossed her arms, "Why do you want to know? It's just a muggle thing," she said, wondering what her Quidditch captain was planning.

James shrugged, "I just do, maybe I want to…play it," he told her, before turning back to Lily, a pleading expression on his face, "Tell meee," he whined, "The floor is...what?"

This was wrong. James Potter never begged anyone to do anything, never pleaded, or looked so innocent. Lily thought there was something wrong, James Potter playing 'The Floor is Lava' seemed wrong.

She rolled her eyes, "It's a muggle game, why would you want to know?" she asked, pursing her lips.

James frowned, "Would you just tell me," he said, looking evenly at Lily.

"It's called 'the floor is lava' and basically all you have to do in it is when someone says 'the floor is lava', you find something and stand on it in five seconds," Lily explained, tiredly, not wanting to argue with the boy. Besides, there was no harm in a silly game…right? Lily was wrong. There was everything wrong with a silly game, especially when the marauders made up their mind to 'play' it.

"So…. You have to avoid the floor because it's lava? Is it literally lava? Does it turn into lava?" James asked, hiding his grin.

Lily nodded exasperatedly, "Yes, James," she replied. James smirked, and Lily caught him just before he turned away. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, "What are you planning…?" she asked slowly.

James shrugged innocently, "Nothing, Lily dear," he replied, "Or is it…" he added under his breath.

Lily's eyes widened, "What did you say?!" she asked quickly, glaring at James who only shrugged again.

"Well, see you girls!" he grinned, running away, "Oi Padfoot! I found out!" he shouted loudly, and Sirius, who had been apparently hiding in the shadows came out, grinning widely.

"Potter come back!" Lily called, wondering what the hell these two were planning.

But James only smirked at her, "Soo, you want me to come?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. He had been asking her out for a few weeks now, but Lily always denied or ignored the question. Now her face turned red in embarrassment and anger when she understood what he'd meant.

"Whatever," she fumed at him, turning back to Marlene, "Let's just go, they're probably just joking or something," she said, returning with a bright smile as the two girls walked to the common room together.

But little did Lily know, they weren't joking…

And so it begins! I probably won't be updating super fast on this fic, as I have like a bunch already, but this is something I'll do in my spare time! Hope you liked it!

BTW, I thought I'd do this as something funny and not one of the cliche Harry Potter fics. I doubt anyone has ever done this type before (even if they did, not many have) so I'd love to try something new!

Thanks for readin',
