Hello everyone! I know I've left you all in the dark about this project but I decided that the endpoint was 'chapter 20'. Reason is... Well, I'm done with this project for good. I know many wanted to see this continue. I am sorry but I felt that this story reached a solid point. I might make a sequel to this down the line, blending in elements from canon Season 3A, but for now, this is 'goodbye' for the project.
Thank you all so much for reading and enjoying this project. It's been a huge honor and I promise to keep providing fun stories for everyone to read. Currently working on a continuation of 'Monster Bash' called 'Crescent Moons, Shattered Stars', which dives into how I want/hope S3B plays out. Hope you all consider checking it out! Connecting Troubled Souls will be continuing again soon too, so two projects will run in tandem.
Have a wonderful day everyone and looking back on this project and how S3A ended up playing out. Um... Wow, honestly prefer this to what we got in the canon. Granted, I would have made some more 'drama' on Marco's end of things regarding his realization of loving Star. But that's literally the only thing I would change. S3A did, in my opinion, a very poor job balancing the romance and main plot threads. Star moving on way to quickly, both not bothering to keep in touch, etc. It angered me and seeing Lava Lake (plus how everyone INCLUDING Star treats Marco across S3A) just baffled me. Some best friend she is... Things seem okay post 'Sweet Dreams' but still. Star and Marco's dynamic is the cornerstone of the show and you fuck with that? Wow, it makes the entire thing, even if it's high quality, soured. Anyway, enough ranting. Thank you for reading and have a great day :).
