Alright time for Lucario's first battle, along with the rematches with Gary. Also there will be a few battles I won't do, the first being the battle for Togepi, I decided to let Misty keep Togepi yes I know that some people felt Ash should have had the Togepi but I'm letting Misty keep it. Main reason Ash is getting more than enough Pokémon in Kanto. The next battle will be the random battle with a Rhyhorn trainer. Mostly because that battle was used to show Bulbasaur was close to evolving, but in this story Bulbasaur's already an Ivysaur. The next one is the Ultimate Test because I would have to change those battles, because those battles didn't make much sense. First if a random trainer participates in it like Ash did they would be screwed. Because first if their given a random Pokémon they may not be familiar with its move sets. Oh and the final gym battle will not be with team rocket, instead with an OC character who is Ash's aunt. By the way that gym will be a Dark Type Gym.

Ash's Team Updates New Catches:

Magnemite; Magnet Pull: Tackle, Thunder Shock, Supersonic, Thunder Wave, Electro Ball, Gyro Ball, Spark, Screech

Muk; Poison Touch: Sludge Bomb, Body Slam, Disable, Mud Bomb, Minimize, Shadow Punch, Shadow Sneak

Evolutions:

It had been two weeks since the P-1X tournament and in the meantime Ash added two more Pokémon to his group. The first was Magnemite who he caught in Power Plant located in a place called, Gringey City. A heavily polluted city, that now had finally began a project to clean the city. Magnemite had a gray, metallic, spherical body, with two horseshoe shaped magnets, a large eye in the center of its body, and three screws in its body. Magnemite was an Electric and Steel type. While he had three other electric types, he didn't have any steel types at the moment. Plus, his Magnemite had the ability Magnet Pull a very rare ability, since only a few Pokémon could have the ability. This ability would be helpful since Magnezone where known for their ability to deal with other steel types. The other Pokémon he caught was Muk, the Sludge Pokémon. Muk were able to take several hits, and keep on fighting. Also he was getting along with his other Pokémon, in fact Muk was so friendly he enjoys giving everyone a crushing hug.

Currently Ash and his friends were making their way towards the Fuchsia Gym, while on their way they came across a man who was trying to build a resort, however his attempts always failed due to Diglett. In desperation the man hired Pokémon trainers in order to get rid of the Diglett. One of the trainers was Gary who was shocked and jealous when he heard Ash caught a foreign Pokémon and a very rare on at that. After their meeting Gary then boasted he would capture all the Diglett, after tossing his Pokéball, surprisingly the Pokémon didn't come out. Then suddenly a Diglett popped out of the ground before returning the Pokéball to Gary, who thank it, before realizing what had happened. Gary then tried again to the same result, as did several other trainers. Realizing there must be an important reason for the Pokémon not wanting to come out, Ash asked Lucario for help. Using his aura Lucario then guided the group to an area where there would hundreds of Diglett and their evolved from Dugtrio, work on a field, planting tree, and keeping the area healthy. Realizing this is why the Diglett were stopping the project. Now knowing that build the resort would destroy the Digletts' home the man decided to cancel his project, and look for another place to build. Once everything was settled Ash and Gary decided to have a rematch. With Brock refereeing Ash and Gary called out their first choice.

"Arcanine go!" Gary called out large canine with orange fur and jagged black zig zags.

"Flareon, I choose you!" Ash then released a small quadruped Pokémon with red fur, and yellow tuff of fur on its head, and around its neck, and a yellow busy tail.

Ash remembered the Growlithe, that he battled against back in the tournament. So Gary had evolved it, since his Flareon had Flash Fire he wouldn't have to worry about fire type moves. However, Arcanine were known to have lots of coverage options. Thankfully he also thought Flareon coverage moves as well.

"Begin!" Brock announced who was refereeing the battle.

"Arcanine use Take Down." Gary began.

Glowing Arcanine charged forward with the intent of slamming into Flareon. Seeing the incoming attack, Ash called for Double Team. Creating several copies Arcanine ran through one, before receiving several Shadow Ball. Arcanine was force a couple of feat, as Flareon firing a few more Shadow Balls. Gary then told Arcanine to switch to Dragon Pulse. Unleashing a power shockwave of energy, the Dragon Pulse that shatter the Shadow Balls. Ash used this opportunity to have Flareon use Dig. However, Gary use the opportunity to use Howl to power up. Unbeknownst to him, Ash and Flareon were doing the same with Flareon using its time underground to use Curse.

Eventually Flareon resurfaced only to be smacked, by Arcanine's Extreme Speed. Flying back several feet, Flareon managed to land back on its leg before charging forwards with Quick Attack. Smirking Gary then told Arcanine to charge forward with Extreme. But before Arcanine could Ash called out for Double Team. Flareon then multiply as they surrounded Arcanine.

"Arcanine use Dragon Pulse." Gary called out.

Releasing the shock wave, the Flareon copies all disappeared. However, the real Flareon was nowhere to be seen. But before Gary and Arcanine could react, Flareon burst out from underground and it rammed into Arcanine's stomach, sending Arcanine crushing on its back.

"Flareon, Hyper Voice!" Ash called out.

Taking a deep breath, Flareon released a powerful echoing shout. Arcanine withered in pain as Gary called out for another Dragon Pulse. The two attack clashed before canceling each other out. But before Flareon could react, Arcanine slammed into to it covered in electricity.

"Now Arcanine finish it with Psychic Fangs!" Arcanine opened its mouth as it' teeth were coated in psychic energy, as it calmed down on Flareon. Unfortunately, this was it for Flareon as it fainted.

"Flareon, unable to battle Arcanine wins!" Brock announced as Gary's cheerleaders cheered.

Gary began boasting about his skills, while Ash thanked his Flareon for his hard work. Since they agreed to no substitution Gary didn't bother to return Arcanine. Grabbing his next choose, Ash tossed his Pokéball, before calling out…. "Vaporeon I choose you!"

Once both trainers were ready, they continued to battle.

"Arcanine Extreme Speed." Gary commanded.

"Vaporeon, Hydro Pump!" Ash called out.

As Arcanine slammed into Vaporeon, sending it skidding back, Vaporeon stood its ground before retaliating with a power stream of water. Arcanine flew back as it crashed into the ground with swirls.

"Arcanine is unable to battle, Vaporeon wins!" Brock announced, as Gary was left in shook. Gary's cheerleaders were crying while Misty was cheering for Vaporeon winning.

Grabbing his next choice Gary released a bipedal humanoid with grey skin, with a reptilian face, a short snout, and narrow red eyes.

Taking out his Pokédex scanning this new Pokémon.

Machoke, the Superpower Pokémon. With enough strength to lift a giant truck with on hand, Machoke are often used for extremely heavy work.

Nodding Ash placed his Pokédex away before continuing the match.

"Okay Machoke use Cross Chop." Gary ordered. Running forward Machoke brought his arms in an X formation.

"Vaporeon use Water Pulse, then Dig." Ash countered.

Hearing it trainer Vaporeon launched a sphere of water, before burrowing into the ground.

"Machoke destroy it then Earthquake." Gary called out.

Machoke tore through the Water Pulse, as Machoke then jumped into the air. As it was coming down, Ash quickly countered.

"Vaporeon, Hydro Pump straight up!" Ash shouted, hoping Vaporeon heard him.

Just as Machoke was about to land on the ground. A geyser of water erupted that slammed into Machoke, sending back into the air. From the hole where the water popped out, Vaporeon hopped out.

"Great job, Vaporeon, now use Shadow Ball." Ash said grinning.

"Poreon!" Vaporeon called out as it launches several purple and black spheres.

"Machoke, defend yourself with Flamethrower." Gary countered.

Opening its mouth Machoke released a torrent of flames that blasted through several Shadow Balls. However, the final Shadow Ball connected sending Machoke straight in to the ground. Getting back up Machoke heard Gary's command to look up, as it did it noticed Vaporeon had jumped and was now spinning towards it with an Iron Tail and Aqua Tail combo.

"Machoke, use Dynamic Punch, and Thunder Punch to block it!"

With its arm glowing white, and cackling with electricity, Machoke smashed its fist into Vaporeon's tail, causing the two to be pushed back. Both Pokémon glared at each other as they were preparing their next attack.

"Vaporeon Muddy Water! /Machoke Focus Blast!" Both trainer called out.

Vaporeon summoned a giant wave of brackish water, while Machoke create a blue sphere of energy, and launched it at the wave. As Vaporeon came closer it suddenly leaped for the wave it was riding before launching a Hydro Pump. While the Focus Blast destroyed the wave of muddy water, the power stream Vaporeon fired slammed into Machoke. Machoke's legged wobbled for a bit before collapsing on the floor.

"Machoke is unable to battle Vaporeon wins." Brock announced.

"Great Job Vaporeon!" Ash cheered.

Gary silently return Machoke, while he told himself Ash's win on the St. Anne was a fluke, it was no doubt he was a better trainer than he took him credit for. Still he was no match for himself, Gary though as he called, "Scyther, let's go!"

Releasing the same Scyther he used against Ash in the St. Anne Scyther called out its name as it was ready for battle.

"Scyther use Quick Attack!" Gary began.

"Vaporeon, use your Quick Attack." Ash countered.

Due to its greater speed and strength, Scyther won the duel and sent Vaporeon flying back.

"Great Job Scyther use X-Scissor!" Rushing forward with its arms crossed Scyther was speeding towards Vaporeon.

"Vaporeon use Aqua Tail." Vaporeon landed on its feet as it spun around with its tail surround by swirling water that blocked the X-Scissor.

"Now Psycho Cut." Gary called out. Unleashing blade made of psychic energy, the blade tour through Vaporeon who had swirls in its eyes.

"Vaporeon is unable to battle Scyther wins." Brock announced.

Returning Vaporeon, Ash praised it for its hard work. 'That Scyther is more powerful than I thought. I'll need to keep it from moving to much in order to win.' Ash thought as he selected his third choice.

"Jolteon, I choose you!" Ash called the same Pokémon he used against Gary, in the St. Anne.

"Jolt, Jolt!" Jolteon backed.

"Jolteon use Quick Attack!" Ash started.

"Scyther you use Quick Attack as well." Gary countered.

The two Pokémon took off ready to collide, but as they got closer Ash called out, "Double Team."

Failing for the same trick Arcanine did earlier Scyther flew through one of Jolteon's clones.

"Now Thunder Wave." Ash called out.

Unleashing a wave of electricity Scyther cried out, as it was hit with the power paralyzing move.

"Now use Thunderbolt." Ash continued his attacks.

Releasing a stronger current of electricity, the zap Scyther painfully. Scyther cried out in pain, and as the attack ended Scyther panted as smoke rose from its body. Scyther narrowly avoid the Shadow Ball from Jolteon before retaliating with a Psycho Cut. Jolteon retaliate with a Thunderbolt blocking the attack. Using the opportunity to use Double Team, Scyther created several copies. However, Ash wouldn't be phase, and called for a Shock Wave. Unleashing blue electricity, the wave of electricity that spread throughout the field. The attack it all of Scyther's copies, but before Jolteon could hit the real one, Jolteon was struck hard from behind.

A dark crescent slash was made with Scyther's right arm, and Scyther's left arm of sticking in the ground. Ash saw this and realized what had happened, during the attack Scyther stuck his arm in the ground in order to help ground the electricity. Then when the time was right, Scyther struck with a Night Slash.

"Jolteon use Hyper Voice!" Ash called out.

Releasing the ear piercing sound, that caused Scyther to wince under the sound. Once Jolteon stop the attack, Gary took the opportunity to call from a Quick Attack. But just as Scyther was about to move. His whole body felt a shock the form paralyzes caused by the Thunder Wave. Using Scyther's paralyzes to his advantage Jolteon use the time to catches its breath after the series of attack.

"Jolteon Shadow Ball."

"Scyther Air Slash."

The two fired their attack with cause and explosion with smoke that covered the field. As the smoke cleared, both Pokémon were charging forward with, Scyther with an X-Scissor, and Jolteon with Wild Charge. The two Pokémon collided with each other, creating more smoke.

When the smoke cleared Jolteon was still standing panting heavily, while Scyther was unconscious.

"Scyther is unable to battle, Jolteon wins." Brock announced.

Gary sighed as he returned Scyther, that last battle didn't go the way he wanted. He still had two Pokémon left, Jolteon was panting mostly likely tried from his series of attacks. Grabbing his 4th choice he called out, "Nidoking, let's go!" Gary called out a large, bipedal, purple Pokémon with rabbit like ears, and a large horn coming out of the top of its head.

Having his own Nidoking, Ash didn't need to scan it. Though with Jolteon tired he knew Jolteon wouldn't last much longer. Still Jolteon could hopefully do enough damage for his next Pokémon to take out Nidoking without taking too much damage.

"Jolteon, you good to continue?" Ash asked, making sure Jolteon was up to the task.

"Jolt, Jolt." Jolteon barked while nodding, though still panting.

"Begin." Brock stated.

"Jolteon use Shadow Ball!" Ash said.

"Nidoking Earth Power, the Flamethrower." Gary countered.

Smashing its fist into the ground, the ground crash as piece of the earth flew out. The Earth Power destroyed the Shadow Ball, before nailing into Jolteon. Jolteon flew back, as it landed hard on its side, and as Jolteon struggled to get up, only to be hit by a torrent of flames. Unfortunately, Jolteon couldn't continue as it fainted with swirls in its eyes.

"Jolteon is unable to battle Nidoking wins." Brock announced.

"Great job Jolteon, take a long rest." Ash said as he returned Jolteon. Selecting his next choice Ash called out, "Marowak, I choose you."

"Maro, Marowak!" The Pokémon cried.

Marowak was bipedal Pokémon with light brown skin, and a cream-colored underside. Two small claws one on each hand, and one large nail on each foot. It had a short tail, with a spike near the tip, and the skull it wore as a mask, now became a part of its face. A few days after some hard fought training Cubone finally evolved in to Marowak. Now it time to see what he can do now.

"Marowak start off with Ice Beam." Ash began.

"Nidoking Flamethrower." Gary countered.

Two attack clashed each struggling to overpower the other, eventually creating smoke that covered the field. When the smoke cleared, Marowak was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly Marowak smashed through the earth, and landed a powerful undercut. Nidoking stumbled back, before grabbing Marowak's tail.

"Nidoking use Ice Punch!" Gary ordered.

With its fist glowing an icy blue, Nidoking smashed its fist into Marowak's stomach sending it flew. Landing on the ground hard, Marowak quickly got back up. Glaring at its opponent Marowak wasn't going to back down.

"Marowak use Bonemerang, then Swords Dance." Ash called out.

Seeing what it's trainer wanted, Marowak tossed it bone like a freebie, and the bone took off. Several swords appeared around Marowak, as the swords soon disappeared a red aura appear Marowak. As Marowak was powering it up, its bone club neared Nidoking. However, Nidoking fired an Ice Beam that from froze it, causing to fall to the ground. Once that was done, Nidoking then generator another Earth Power.

"Marowak use your Earth Power, that use your Ice Punch." Ash countered. Smashing the ground, the Earth Power made its way towards, with Marowak following behind preparing its next attack. Seeing his opponents next moves, Gary told Nidoking to counter with his own Earth Power, then to use Aqua Tail. When the two Earth Powers canceled each other out, Nidoking swung its tail with water circling around it. Marowak jumped over the attack before landing another blow, this time on Nidoking's gut encasing it in ice. Jumping back to avoid Nidoking grasped, Marowak grabbed its bone club and began freeing it from the ice. Nidoking smashed the ice on its stomach, before charging towards Marowak with a Fire Punch. Seeing Nidoking getting closer, Ash ordered Marowak to use dig again.

Smirking Gary then called out, "Earthquake."

With his eyes widening Ash yelled out, "Marowak get of out of there quick!"

But it was too late, Nidoking stomped of the ground letting loose a powerful Earthquake that shook the area. Marowak was force to return to the surface, having surfer massive damage. Taking the opportunity Nidoking delivered one last Ice Punch, and Marowak was out.

"Marowak is unable to battle, Nidoking wins." Brock announced.

Ash quietly returned Marowak, "Thank you." He muttered before placing Marowak away. He got careless, out of all of Gary's Pokémon Nidoking would have been the one to mostly likely to know Earthquake. He gotten careless, and relied too on Dig for Marowak man usage for avoid attacks.

Ash then shook his head, now wasn't the time, they still had a battle to finish. Now was Lucario's time, and no doubt he would leave quite the impression. Looking towards Lucario, Ash nodded. Lucario nodded as well, he knew as well. Lucario then jumped onto the field and got into its battle stance now it was his time.

"Lucario vs Nidoking begin!"

"Nidoking use Earth Power." Gary wanted to start off, while he knew a lot about the Pokémon from Kanto, Lucario weren't from Kanto, and he didn't want to rick sending Nidoking into a close ranged fight.

"Lucario jump over that and use Bone Rush." Ash countered.

Following Ash's orders Lucario closed his eyes and allowed his aura to guide him, he leaped over Nidoking's attack. He then manipulated his aura to create long bone and prepared to strike down on Nidoking.

"Nidoking Flamethrower." Gary said not waiting to let Lucario close.

Once again Lucario avoid another before slamming the bone into Nidoking several times before landing an Ice Punch. Nidoking collapsed, as Lucario was too much for it.

Gary silently returned Nidoking, and he took in Lucario abilities. No doubt Lucario was extremely powerful, still he still had one Pokémon. Kissing the Pokéball for luck Gary released a large, bipedal turtle-like Pokémon, with a blue body, a brown shell, and two cannon common out of its shell.

"Blastoise." Ash muttered as he took out his Pokédex.

Blastoise, the Shellfish Pokémon, and the evolved form of Wartortle. Blastoise's heavy body weight can leave opponents unable to battle. It retreats to its shell when necessary.

Nodding both trainers and Pokemon ready themselves for this final fight.

"Begin!" Brock shouted.

"Blastoise use Hydro Pump!" Gary said wanting to start off strong.

Aiming with its cannons, Blastoise fired highly pressurized water towards Lucario who easily move out of the way. Then Lucario unleashed the shockwave from a Dragon Pulse that pushed Blastoise back. Lucario then seemly disappeared from where it was standing before reappearing in front of Blastoise before delivering a powerful Thunder Punch. Blastoise stumbled back, and before it could retaliate Lucario had already gotten a good distance away and launched an Aura Sphere. Blastoise on the defense as it tried to block Lucario's attacks to no avail.

"Blastoise use Waterfall." Gary said.

"Lucario use Psychic." Ash countered.

Before Blastoise could attack, Lucario's Psychic prevented Blastoise from moving. Lucario then got in close, before delivering a barrage of attacks, with several strike from Thunder Punch. Blastoise retreated to its shell in order to escape, but one last Aura Sphere into the hole, and Blastoise was out cold.

"Blastoise is unable to battle, Lucario wins." Brock announced.

And with that Ash won their 2nd battle. Gary fell to his knees in disbelief seeing his start defeated in minutes while Lucario didn't received a scratch. Ash ran up to Lucario and thanked him for doing a job well done. Hugging Lucario Ash said Lucario was incredible, and he could wait to battle with him again Lucario was also smiling traveling with Ash had been fun so far, and even he was excited for what lies from them ahead.

And that's it, Lucario debut ending demolishing two powerful Pokémon in minutes. Let me know what you thought of this battle in the reviews. Next will be Ash vs Koga for the Soul Badge.
