***Hey, guys! I just got back from vacation, which is why I didn't upload this sooner. Let's get this out of the way: the characters belong to Tim Burton while the story concept and/or plot belong to me. Without further ado, let's begin.

A young Jack Skellington wandered the graveyard, calling for his ghost puppy. The seven-year-old had been looking for a while now and he was running out of places to search. "Zero, where are you?" he called out at last.

To his surprise, he heard a faint bark sound. He ran towards the noise. Sure enough, he found Zero. But he was being pet by...a stranger, at best.

It was a little ragdoll girl with pale blue skin, long red hair, and stitches sporadically placed in places around her body. Hey dress was made of patchwork cloth. From a guess, she couldn't have been more than five years old. "Excuse me, miss, but you have my dog there," Jack said.

The girl looked up. "Your dog?" she echoed.

Zero floated back over to his master and yipped happily. "Yes. Now, I don't think we've met. I'm Jack Skellington, and I see you've already made friends with Zero. What's your name?" Jack asked.

"Sally," Sally said. She stood up, but wobbled a bit as she did so. "Are you okay/" Jack asked. "Yes. New cre-a-tion. Still learning," Sally explained as best she could. "Ah," Jack said, nodding.

Zero started covering Sally in wet puppy kisses. Jack hardly managed to pull his back. "I'm sorry about that. He tends to do that when he meets someone know and he likes that person," he apologized.

However, Sally was giggling. "Nice dog. Dog is nice. Jack is nice," she said after she calmed down.

"As much as I hate to go, I think Zero and I have to get home. I hope that we'll meet again. But, as a small token of my liking for you, take this," Jack said. He kissed Sally's hand before he left with Zero right behind him. Sally looked at her hand, directly on the spot where she had been kissed. "Nice Jack," she said, smiling. "Love Jack."
