Naruto was watching as his three year old slept. "I had a feeling I would find you here," Hinata said as she stood next to Naruto.

"He just looks so cute when he's sleeping," replied Naruto.

"You say that even when he's awake," Hinata commented as she led Naruto out of Boruto's room.

"Obviously Boruto's cute when he's awake, he has your face!" exclaimed Naruto.

"Naruto-kun, Boruto-kun is almost your replica."

"Ok, yeah he got my hair, my whiskers, and my eye color. BUT he has your eye shape, your cute button nose, and your adorable pouty lips."

"I do not have pouty lips," argued Hinata.

"Yes you do, see," Naruto said as he pointed to Hinata's pouting lip. "But that's ok, I like your pouty lips," Naruto added as he leaned in for a kiss.

Hinata happily returned the kiss and said, "I wonder if the next one will also get my pouty lips," and then touched her stomach.

"Next one? You mean...I'm gonna be a dad again?" asked a shocked Naruto. Hinata merely nodded her head yes. "I hope you also get Mama's kind eyes," Naruto said as he placed his head on Hinata's still flat stomach.

"And Papa's bright smile," added Hinata as she placed her hand on Naruto's head. Naruto then stood and gave Hinata a deep kiss as tears of joy ran down his cheeks. Hinata wiped away some of his tears and as she did Naruto couldn't contain his grin. "There's that smile I love," Hinata stated as she gave Naruto a loving smile of her own.

Just something that came to mind as I was reading the Boruto novel and they mention how he had Hinata's facial features. It was short but hope it was a good one. Til Next Time!
