Chapter 7

Zoro kept standing in that hallway and stare at where Sanji was. There was no way that guy was okay Zoro gut feeling told him, there was something else there. Something he wasn't aware off.

He thought hard and look at Chopper in silence. he was confident in his ambition and about what he felt, he loves the cook but he is not going to tell him anything then his lest hope was Chopper. it must be something Chopper said to him. There is no other way.

He set on one of the waiting room chairs and waited for Chopper to finish writing notes to himself. He kept going in a quiet manner and didn't seem to notice Zoro sharp eyes on him and fold his arms tightly.

What is he thinking? What did he and Sanji talk about!? I want to know!

There was no other way but to ask but he doubts Chopper will answer him fully. It was annoying but for now, Zoro had to at least try to get something. He really didn't like to stay in the dark.

"Chopper, can you tell me. What's wrong with the cook?"

Chopper raise a very sad and hesitant big eyes, it made Zoro heart heavy for making him have a painful look like this but he had no one to turn to. He waited for Chopper answer and after a while Chopper open his mouth slowly.

"Sanji…is in a very bad shape right now. If he won't eat well and take vitamins he can be in real danger."

Zoro raise a brew at Chopper heavy words and thought about it. The cook eat a lot before they come to the hospital, he didn't stop to eat actually so how did he didn't eat well? The whole thing was too confusing for Zoro to get.

"He eat though. It wasn't enough? I made sure of that. By now he can be Luffy." He mumbles in confuse tone.

"That's not the point. In his situation just eating isn't enough anymore." Chopper voice was sharp and he kept writing notes. Zoro scratch his short hair and frown, he really didn't get what Chopper is trying to say. Did he miss something?

"What kind of situation are we talking about? Can you explain it to me? That stupid cook…won't die right?" maybe now, if he be super patient and gentle, maybe he will tell him something. Zoro didn't mind, even a little info was enough for him has long he know Sanji will be alright.

Chopper gave him a gentle look and pet his arm with a small all known smile.

"He suffers from severe anemia and his hormones all over the place. But don't worry Zoro, if he take his vitamins and eat a balance diet like he should he will be fine. It's not such a bad thing like you think it is like a disease or a virus. With some time he will be back to his old self."

Zoro felt a big weight falling off his shoulders and he sigh in relief. Has long the idiot was fine, he didn't care about the details but he was curious what is it that the cook had.

"Then? What the cook have? Do you know how to cure it?" Zoro asked with a serious kind of expression. Chopper only smile to that and took a deep breath, he looked so happy and calm that it surprise Zoro to no end.

"Nope. I don't need to cure it. Sorry but I can't tell you that, only Sanji have the right to answer this. But don't worry Zoro I'm sure he will tell you soon. When he is ready, I'm sure he will. He love you so much after all."

Zoro raise his eyebrows at him with even more confuse look while Chopper sound so cheerful and happy for them.

"Tell me what? What the hell does he need to tell me? Can't you just tell me?" with a tired voice, he felt a headache coming.

"No no! It has to be Sanji!"

Chopper jump in excitement while his eyes spark like it was some big event that has to happen between them. Zoro got the hint and stop asking after this, there was no point now if Chopper refuses him that much. Now it all depends on the damn cook, and he just know that idiot will do everything not to tell him anything.

Ever since then Chopper decided he will keep Sanji in the hospital so he can watch over his progress until his condition get better to Sanji distress. Has much he loved and trusted Chopper, he hated to stay in the hospital bed wearing the white robes like he was sick. But the thing that annoyed him the most is that he could not go to school now because of this shit. The old man agrees of course but it still frustrated him to no end.

To top it all off, Zoro also decided to visit him every morning and leave at the afternoon. And when he was there he will not leave him alone for a second. The idiot seemed to forget school is a thing and most of the time he practice his swords in front of him like it was his own room.

It has been a week and half since then, it was the usual day of Sanji trying to get Zoro lazy ass to school like a child. Zoro from his end ignore most of what he said like the ignorant prick he was and Sanji wanted to strangle him. In the hospital bed Sanji lay down on his stomach with a very piss off frown

"How many times I have to tell you until you get it, damn moss!? Can't you understand human language when you hear it?! Or I need to speak the algae language for you to understand?! I'm fine and I want to be alone for fuck sake!" Sanji whine inside the white pillow in total defeat while holding into his hair tightly. He really was tired of Zoro annoying stubborn attitude to not leave him alone.

He still didn't get over his new discovery on his body and how to handle himself now. Where do you even start?! He had much more time to handle the fact that he was bi for Zoro and even that was very hard for him to accept.

Zoro from his end seemed to ignore most of what he was saying and kept swinging his stupid swords around in silence. Sanji really wanted to kick him so hard but he was afraid that if he did, something bad will happen to the new unborn baby.

"I heard you the first time, damn cook. Why do you need to be alone so much!? you can do everything you need while I'm here. Stop being so unreasonable!" with indifferent tone.

"Unreasonable?! Me?! How am I been unreasonable damn moss head?! I can't do it when you around, okay?! Like thinking damn it! I need to think!" Sanji yelled into the pillow

Not to mention accept so many things and how to handle his body and what to do with this baby he going to have. Should he go for abortion? Has horrible has it sound he needed to consider all the possibilities and option he had right now. And the option that Zoro will dump him after he find out that he is dating a freak show.

There were too many things he needed to think, consider and calculate that his head started to hurt. Not to mention his over the place emotions he didn't know how to handle. In other words he was a mass and he needed a time off from all the people around him. That mast be the reason why Chopper gave him isolated room with one bed and bathroom. He must have known it will be difficult for him to accept.

But the more he tried to think about everything and accept it the more the bad thoughts loop around in his mind with anxiety, fear and sadness like a never ending circle. Maybe he did need to go to school to get out of his own head not to mention he must have missed a lot of tests.

If he can blame someone he decided to blame the marimo, all was his damn fault!

Zoro gave him one bored look only to sit on the floor and start to play with his sword or whatever he tried to do with it.

"Think about what? You can think has much has you want while I'm around, stop making such a big deal out of nothing, stupid curly." He grown and swing his sword again like a badass that Sanji told himself he isn't, cause he wasn't!

"That's not how this work, stupid marimo! agh damn it!" he whine and hide himself under the blankets.

He wasn't sure what to do around him anymore, it's not that his love for him was less than before but he still had doubts and fears from Zoro rejecting him.

If Zoro reject him after he found out he wasn't sure he could keep going after that. He wasn't that strong and it will crush him for good. But honestly he won't blame him if he did.

Hell he himself would have dump his ass if he could and he still felt a little disgusted from his own body. He knows it wasn't a healthy way to view himself but it was so fucking weird! He knows that Chopper and the others didn't see him that way probably, but they won't need to see this abnormality every morning like Zoro or to sleep next to him in bed for that matter.

So part of him really wanted to just….give up. Give up and just run to some place to be alone forever.

While he was busy with his self-loathing he didn't notice Zoro putting away his swords, watching over him for a while in silence and then make his way to the bed. In a quit and calm manner, Zoro started to pet Sanji hair.

Slowly, so slowly to calm the other man down and Sanji jump a little from the sudden touch.

"Wh…what? What are you doing?" with a little shocked voice.

He never felt him coming or heard his steps, how the marimo manage to sneak out on him, Sanji will never know but he could hear his heart jumping all over the place. Zoro didn't answer for a long time until he sigh and come back to pet his head.

"Relax cook. I have no clue what going on in your dumb head of yours…"

"You don't have to insult me you know, jackass!" Sanji roll his eyes at him and Zoro smirk

"But you should stop thinking so heard on everything. Whatever the thing that bothering you it's isn't such a big deal like we fear, so it all good."

"Chopper told me you not going to die."

All this time Zoro examine his reaction and body language but he didn't said anything more for a while. he only kept petting his head and took him to lean on his chest.

"Marimo! answer me god damn it! don't just stay all quiet like that! You freaking me out!" Sanji growl but let the other hug him tight, enjoying the warmth. Zoro smirk instead and come back to pet his head.

"I just wanted to see how much annoyed you get if I didn't answer." he answer in amusement. Sanji snore and pinch Zoro nipples, making him blush and grown.

"Ha Fine, you perverted cook! He said that you have anemia and a bunch of other stuff. But eating right with the vitamins he gave you should fix it."

"You will…wait for me?" he whisper in the pillow, feeling so hopeless and embarrassed by needing Zoro support despite the other don't know anything about his baby.

Sanji really could not tell what his old man will say but he hoped that he won't be too disappointed in him. The last thing Sanji wanted is to disappoint this old man that support and raise him so well since young childhood. He just wanted his old to be proud in him.

While he was busy with his own thoughts Zoro move his body closer and make both of them to lay down on bed so Sanji would lay on his chest. "Blackleg-ya It's time to your checkups. Oh you have visitors."

Zoro sneer at Law and Sanji cover his eyes with his hand while blushing, he wasn't sure what else to say to him. He can yelled and kick him away, but he really didn't want to do that when he was been so damn fucking cute! He can just die!

"Well sorry to bother you two, but can you make your guarding dog back off? I need to check your condition Blackleg-ya." He smirk a sly smile

He could feel Zoro shaking from anger and his glare become sharper. He didn't know Zoro could glare like a murder until today.

After finally been free he looks around the room. Nothing change, Law bag was open and it seemed he prepared all the stuff he needed for his checkups. Law act and look normal with no emotion. Sanji frown a little in confusion. That was weird. Why did the marimo felt the need to block his vision if nothing happen? Some part of him was very suspicious, this was very suspicious. But he could not do anything about it now since everything look normal.

"Well now that you finish announcing I'm yours, Can you let the nice doctor finish his checkups? Oh yeas and get me something to eat."

"Did you finally lost your mind cook?! You can't eat those things together!"

Zoro snore and turn his back to him, not bothering to answer and hurry to leave the room. Sanji watch him leave with a little regret in his heart, he must think he super weird. "Okay I'm going to start, Blackleg-ya. Don't move." Law start to check his blood pressure, fever, heart beats and took a blood test.

"You seemed deep in thought. From the way you look, you didn't told him yet." he said with indifferent face. Sanji head rose up without thinking

"Uh? What do you mean?"

He was scared, he never been so scared in his life. Despite his best effort he could not stop his body from shaking harder and he could hear his heart beat getting loader in his ears. Fuck it isn't working! He hated himself for been so weak over some stupid words!

Law seemed to finish packing his things and stare at him while he stood in front of the bed. His look was so cold and so indifferent that it make Sanji blood boil. Sanji finally got some courage and glare at him while his body was still shaking.

"You…don't tell anyone! If you do I….I…"

"Of course, I won't spread classified information about my patients. You can rest assured, I won't tell anyone about you." Law promise but something in his voice sound hollow or he just imagining things. He wasn't sure anymore since he wasn't in the best state of mind in that moment.

"You sure? You are not lying to me are you?!" Sanji ask and look at his feet

"I'm not lying. I need to go Blackleg-ya. I won't be able to come for a few days since I have another job, but I will be back in a few days. Take care."

With that Law left Sanji to the silence of the room that feel cutting him. he was still shaking and could not calm down even after Law left, so he put his face on his knees and close his eyes. He could finally let his tears out, since there was no one to judge or look down on him now.

I don't want to be alone. Marimo I don't want to deal with this by myself, don't leave me!

More and more tears fell down his cheeks on the hospital robe and he let them fell. And he could feel his shaking body calming down a little from the panic he felt before.

Sniffing to himself he was glad no one could see him in that cold lonely room.

He kept crying for a while until his robe was too wet.

it finishes way faster then I thought. my grammar and spalling still bad in my opinion =_= if you find a mistake please let me know and I will fix it. I needed some good fluffy Zosan so badly at this time since I"m unemployed now.
the chapter turns out way longer than my original plan but oh well XD the more the better I guess.
