It Began with an explosion in a secluded science building at the edges of Fort Leavenworth. Doctor Alvin Davenport,a PhD in Physical Cosmology, was the the lead scientist for studying the possibility of the meta-universe more specifically how to enter. But switching universes is delicate and and not to be dabbled into for a reason. This is how the Invasion of the Mist began.

Underneath a secluded science building Dr. Davenport and his team of scientists are getting ready to possibly their greatest achievement in their career. "Sir, the meta-gate (A/N think stargate from SG-1) is ready for first launch" a random scientist said.

"So it's finally ready, huh? Ok, boys go ahead and light her up." Dr. Davenport replies.

As Dr. Davenport walks to the window he notices the three rings making up the gate start to spin. Then it stopped and parts started to light up red.

"Alpha locked"

"Bravo locked"

"Charlie locked"

"Delta locked"

"Echo locked"

"Foxtrot locked"

"Golf locked"

"Hotel locked, all gates locked, Meta-Gate engaging!"

As the rings stopped the entire area was enveloped in a bright red light. Once the light died down they saw that inside the gate was a rippling shiny red liquid. "We did…." Dr. Davenport whispered, "Oh my god we actually did it!" Then the entire control broke into cheers yelling 'we did it, we did it'. But one of the gate controllers noticed something off about the gate.

The controller ran through the crowd making a bee line for Dr. Davenport yelling, "Sir!, Sir! Something is coming out of the gate!" Dr. Davenport whipped his head around "WHAT!?" and ran to the observation window to see this thick endless mist and these lobster like things trying to break the windows. Then the controller yells," Shit Sir! The portal is about to explode!" Dr. Davenport slowly and deathly calm looked over too the controller and asked," Whats your name son?"

"Blaze, Sir."

"Well Blaze it looks like we fucked up" and chuckles before the building explodes letting the mist free to attack the world.

A/N Well people this is the first chapter I have no idea how this story will turn out but oh well and any help is appericated
