Chapter 9

"She's what?" Roan eyes widen in disbelief. Ontari can't believe her ears, she thought Lexa killed her 7 years ago.

"I thought you killed her." Ontari frowns at Lexa. Lexa sighs and shakes her head.

"I thought I did, but apparently I didn't. I have no idea how she lived, but someone in the coalition betrayed me. I need to know who." Lexa said.

Clarke gets off Lexa's lap and walks to Roan. "We need to talk privately." Clarke said.

"Okay, let's go." Roan said walking out of the meeting room with Clarke.

"Now what Heda?" Luna asked.

"We need a plan. Penn make sure Luna, Ontari, and King Roan have rooms." Lexa said.

"Sha heda." Penn nods hugging Luna. Ontari & Luna follow Penn.

"Octavia, I need to talk to your brother." Lexa said to the young warrior.

Octavia nods. "Sure, let's go." Octavia leaves with Lexa.

"We need to stay on high alert. Just because King Roan is here, that doesn't mean Ontari won't try anything. She wants power. Keep an eye out for her." Mike said to everyone.

"Right, something's not right about that girl." Raven said leaning into Maki. Raven will get to the bottom of Ontari's schemes.

With Roan and Clarke

"How is this possible?" Roan asked pacing back and forth. You think his mother was cold. His Aunt Melda is freezing. She's a mean woman, to be honest Roan couldn't stand her growing up.

Clarke sighs. "I don't know. You do know I have my son now. What will she do to him?" Clarke asked.

Roan stops to look at her. "She will kill him Clarke. I know Lexa still has her nightbloods, but Kinn is the true heir of the blood and the throne. Lexa's the first commander to ever have a child. Kinn has the power, just because he can't talk that doesn't mean other clans won't stop until he's gone." Roan explains.

Clarke nods. "So, if Lexa dies, my son will be next, but how will the coalition go?" Clarke asked.

"Well, Aden is the only one who can talk for Kinn, since you're his mother too, you have a say as well. Just hope my aunt doesn't kill Lexa." Roan said sitting down.

Clarke sits down too. "Roan, are you okay?" The blonde asked her friend.

Roan never opens up about anything, but with Clarke he knows he can be honest with the blonde. "Clarke, for the first time in my life, I'm scared. I've never feared anything, not war, death, but my Aunt, Clarke. She's a vicious, power hungry woman. When Lexa killed her at her conclave, I was so happy. Don't get me wrong my mother has done some fucked up things, but my Aunt killed Lexa's parents in front of her. Lexa had a right to kill her, and my mother. I've never disliked Lexa, we basically grew up together." Roan said.

"What do you mean?" Clarke frowns.

"I used to escape Azgeda, so I could train with Lexa. My mother would give trikru hell because of me. We've been at war for the longest. I'm tired Clarke, I want to have a child of my own someday, but I can't because of mother and Aunt. They stopped me from having a child. They killed my wife Clarke." Roan said putting his hands over his face to block out his tears.

Clarke eyes widen. "What?" Clarke said softly. "Roan, why didn't you…?" Clarke doesn't even finish her sentence.

"Because I am weak Clarke. This was my aunt and mother. I lost my wife, come to find out after my mother and aunt killed her, she was pregnant Clarke. She was a summer and 5 days pregnant (A month and 5 days). Roan said with tears filling his eyes.

Clarke's heart breaks into millions of pieces. "Roan." Clarke said sadly. How could they do this to him?

"Clarke, war is something I've never wanted. I wanted to be free, and loved. Am I wrong for wanting that?" The Prince asked.

"Hell no! You're not. I didn't think I was going to find love again until I met Lexa. My pregnancy had nothing to do with our love. I've been in love with Lexa ever since I first saw her Roan. She's my world, my home, my fucking soul. She gave me a son Roan. A son, at the age of 18, I'm a mother. I'm lucky, and you'll find someone else Roan. I promise you will." Clarke rubs his shoulder.

"Wanheda, how do I find love again? You found it, how did you do it? Even the one you call Raven has found love." Roan said.

"Roan, let me tell you something. Raven has been through some shit. I killed her only family, I left her alone Roan when she needed me, and she got shot. Raven Reyes is my best fucking friend besides Octavia, has found someone who loves her for her not for what she has. Roan, you're special too, don't think you're not. You're my best friend too, even if you did kidnap me." Clarke chuckles.

Roan chuckles too. "Thanks Clarke. Look, I'm here for whatever you need. What's the plan against my aunt?" He asked.

"We need to get to mount weather to get some supplies. When we do that, Raven can build us some bombs, the only thing is we don't know where your aunt is." Clarke said.

"Hmm, she could be at Azgeda, or the Shadow Valley. My aunt made a deal with them a long time ago. I would be surprised if she went there instead of home." Roan said.

"Shadow Valley? Why there?" Clarke asked.

Roan sighs. "Her husband is apart of Shadow Valley."

"Who's her husband?" Clarke asked carefully. She hopes it isn't someone she knows.

"Melvin." Roan said shrugging his shoulders like it's no big deal, but Roan doesn't know that Melvin is a traitor.

"What?!" Clarke eyes widen. Roan frowns at this.

"You know him? He's been missing from his clan for a while now." Roan said.

"Roan, Melvin is the traitor, he's the one who told Emerson about my son. He knows where your aunt is." Clarke said shaking her head.

"How did I not know this?" Roan growls in anger. Roan would've killed him.

"Roan, he poses at Lexa's right hand man. No one knew. So, this changes everything. We need to tell Lexa. Come on." Clarke said running out with Roan to go get Lexa.

With Lexa

Lexa glares at Bellamy with all the hate she has in her body. This fool killed her people.

"O, can we talk about this please?" Bellamy said tiredly. He's exhausted from getting his ass beat, Bellamy knows he brought this upon himself.

"I can't help you, big brother." Octavia said shakes her head.

Bellamy's eyes widen. "I'm your brother O." Bellamy said sadly. Octavia glares at him.

"My brother would've never done anything like this! You killed them Bell! All 300 of them! How could you, because Pike said so?! They didn't do anything!" Octavia yells with tears in her eyes.

"They started this Octavia!" Bellamy yells back at her. Bellamy hears a growl, he looks over at Lexa who's balling her fists to hit him.

"You did this when you took Lincoln and tortured him. You started this when you sent rockets to a village burning it down, You, did this when you fucking blew up that bridge kill Tris! Don't tell me we started this shit!" Lexa yells angrily at Bellamy.

"That spear that hit Jasper…." Bellamy gets interrupted.

"That wasn't us. That was Shadow Valley. Anya told me that a warrior was watching you when you first came down here. I was there when I saw you picking on the one you call Wells." Lexa said.

"Wait, you saw us?" Octavia asked with wide eyes. She didn't know Lexa did that.

"Sha, I did. I wanted to see who invaded my lands. I saw you Octavia when you first stepped off the ship. You were happy. I believe you said, "We're back bitches." Lexa said with a frown making sure she got the words correct.

Octavia smiles. "Yes, I did. I felt like I was free, and I was." Octavia said.

"So, why didn't you kill us when we did invade your lands?" Bellamy asked.

"Clarke. I saw Clarke for the first time, and she had my heart right then." Lexa confesses.

Both Bellamy's and Octavia's eyes widen at Lexa's confession. "I did?" Clarke asked. They all turn look at the blonde who's with Roan.

"Sha, hodnes. What are you doing down here?" Lexa said walking over to her fiancé.

"Baby, um…we need another meeting now. Untie Bellamy, and bring him up. We need a plan. A quick one." Clarke said stroking Lexa's knuckles that are bruised up from hitting Bellamy.

"Untie him." Lexa said to her guards that are in the room with them.

"Sha, Heda." Len said untying Bellamy. "Be careful what you do next sky boy." Len spits angrily.

"What's this about?" Bellamy asked rubbing his wrist because the ropes were tight around them.

"I don't know. Let's go back to the meeting room." Lexa said linking her fingers with Clarke.

Back into the meeting room

"Heda, is everything okay?" Indra asked in concern putting a hand on Lexa's shoulder.

"Melvin is Melda's husband. He's been working with her along with Shadow Valley." Lexa said.

"Well damn." Raven said out of the blue. "So, how do we defeat this woman? I got a couple of grenades with her name on it." Raven said with a smirk.

Maki shakes her head at her girlfriend. "You can't blow up everyone, hodnes." Maki chuckles.

Raven pouts. "You just took the fun out of everything. So boring. I wanna blow up something." Raven said crossing her arms.

"That's not the only thing you want to blow." Octavia said under breath, but Raven still heard her. Clarke slaps Octavia's head glaring at her.

"Shut up, Octavia." The blonde hisses at her.

"I got grenades with knockout gas in them. Will that work?" Raven asked.

Lexa nods. "That sounds okay." Lexa smiles a bit.

"Good. I think Octavia should be the first person on my list." Raven turns to glare at the brunette.

"Woah, hold up. Let's not get all crazy." Octavia puts her hands up in surrender.

"I think that's a great idea." Lexa turns to smirk at Octavia.

Octavia's eyes widen. "Heda! Are you serious?" Octavia whines.

"Very." Lexa nods with a smile on her face.

Octavia leans over to Clarke. "What does that smile mean?" Octavia whispers.

"It means you're going to be our test dummy if you don't shut the hell up." Clarke said nudging Octavia.

"Right, I'll shut up." Octavia goes to hide behind Lincoln.

"Good. Now, we need to make sure Melvin doesn't find out about this." Lexa speaks up.

"Sha Heda." Everyone said. With that, Lexa dismisses everyone to head back to their quarters.

"Roan seems down about this." Clarke said rubbing Lexa's shoulder.

Lexa nods. "What do you want me to do with Bellamy?" Lexa asked.

"I'll take some sense into him, but right now we need him. As long as a guard is watching him, we'll be fine." Clarke said.

"Okay, we need to go put Kinn to bed." Lexa said standing up.

"It's way past his bedtime." Clarke follows Lexa to their room, and they put Kinn to sleep before falling asleep their selves.

…..

With Octavia

Octavia is looking out of the window when she feels a pair of strong arms around her waist.

"You okay?" Lincoln asked.

Octavia nods. "I wanted to talk to you about something." Octavia said gently.

Lincoln frowns. "What about?" Lincoln asked.

"Kids. Do you want any?" Octavia moves away from Lincoln walking back into their room.

Lincoln follows her. "I do. We can after this war is over. I don't wat to get you pregnant, and you get hurt. I wouldn't mind." Lincoln said.

Octavia nods. "Okay, I'm ready to be a mom and get married to you." Octavia sits down on the bed.

Lincoln gets down on his knees in front of her. "I can't wait, Octavia. You're my everything." Lincoln kisses her gently.

Octavia pulls him down on top of her. Lincoln and Octavia are so caught up in making out they didn't see Raven standing there picking at her nails.

"Making a baby?" Raven asked.

Lincoln rolls off Octavia hiding his blush.

"Dammit, Raven. What do you want?" Octavia groans.

Raven rolls her eyes. "I need you help me making some weapons. Hello?" Raven said.

Octavia sighs. "It's late, Rae. Maki can't help you?" Octavia asked standing up.

"I want one of my best friends to help me." Raven pokes out her bottom lip and pouts.

Octavia groans not being able to say no to that face. "I'm such a sucker." Octavia gives Lincoln one last kids before walking out.

"That wasn't going to be the only thing you were going to suck." Raven said shutting the door.

"Shut up, Rae!" Octavia yells walking to Raven's room. Lincoln laughs shaking his head.

With Ontari

….

Ontari is outside staying in a hut. Ontari is looking over a map that has ice nation and Polis on it. Ontari knows she can get Shadow Valley to follow them before Roan finds out.

"Hello, Ontari." Melvin said from behind her.

Ontari turns to him. "What are you doing here?" She asked rolling the map up.

Melvin puts a vile on the table. "Want to poison, Lexa?" Melvin asked.

Ontari looks down at the vile. "What kind of poison?" She asked sitting down in a chair.

"Black Widow venom. It'll kill Lexa quickly." Melvin said with a wicked grin.

Ontari nods. "What do you need me to do?" She asked.

"Pretend you're joining Trikru." Melvin shrugs.

Ontari smiles. "Good plan. I'll pour the poison in Lexa's cup. I know they're having another feast soon." Ontari said.

"That'd be a good idea. Lexa won't even know it." Melvin said sitting down.

Ontari thinks. "What about Clarke? What do we do about her?"

Melvin rolls his eyes. "I have a surprise for her. I'll lure her somewhere and you take care of Lexa. I'll have a friend of mine to take care of Roan." Melvin said.

Ontari smiles. "I like that plan. Deal?" Ontari holds her hand out.

"Deal." Melvin shakes her hand. "We need to report to my wife about what we're about to do."

"I'll send one of my guys to do that. Luna has to be out of the picture as well." Ontari said with a smrik.

"I'll take care of that." Melvin said smiling evilly.

What Ontari and Melvin didn't know is that Bellamy heard every damn word. He runs to go tell Clarke and Lexa.

End of this chapter. Mount Weather next chapter. Lol I can't with Octavia and Raven. Aww Clarke and Roan's sweet moment. I'm working on I can't live without you now. I'm close of writing the ending. Till next time.
