Hello everyone!

As you may have noticed, many stories I have created have been updated today. Since I have been receiving reviews asking for certain abandoned stories to be continued, I thought I would appease everyone by typing a summary of what would have happened in those stories.

This is one of those stories.

I apologize if I get anything wrong from this anime as it has been years since I watched Naruto Shippuden. I have probably seen six or seven episodes of the Boruto anime, but stopped watching so I wouldn't have to wait as long for a new episode. I ended up not watching any of the new ones altogether. I may end up watching the 'filler' episodes after the war but before the wedding after typing this. Hopefully, that makes sense and I'm not giving away spoilers. I don't remember many technical terms or how they should be typed so please bear with me on this.

As you probably read just a few minutes before, the four children of the future had been sent to the past. I don't remember why or how they would even return, but I do know what I wanted to happen in the between stages.

As you know, Gaara 'remembers' the children due to Himawari doing something since she was desperate on making him know who she was. I had it in my mind that Naruto's children would be overly fond of the Kazekage because of the stories Naruto would tell of them. I vaguely remember wanting the children to love Gaara because nearly everyone hated him when he was a child.

Gaara decides to order Temari to personally escort the group back to the leaf village where she will help with the situation. This was also his attempt at being match-maker since he knew Temari and Shikamaru would become a couple.

Along the way, the group is attacked by rogue shinobi that have been possessed by something—wasn't sure at the time what I wanted it to be. Temari ends up getting her leg or ankle caught under some rubble in the fight and Shikamaru and Naruto go to help her. Obviously, Shikadai wants to save his mother so he and Boruto stops hiding their fighting style, which makes something in the three parents' mind remember who they are. The fight ends because of the two friends.

Afterwards, the trio from the future reluctantly admit who they are, but the sibling stays quiet about who their mother is. To be completely fair, their mother is quite timid at the time and were afraid that she would faint at the news.

Naruto becomes angered that the siblings would go to such extremes to hide who they were. Boruto goes to wash the dye out of his hair with Shikadai helping—having removed eye contacts upon his mother's request. Meanwhile, Sarada once again heals the burns on the siblings' cheeks with their whiskers growing back. Someone would question about Himawari not washing the dye out of her hair, and she would admit that doing so would reveal who her mother is. When asked who the lucky lady is, Naruto instinctively fibs that she's dead, much to the surprise of those who know the truth.

When the future-trio reintroduces themselves, another someone asks the reasoning behind the sibilings' names. Naruto explains that they were named after the man that saved his life, as Boruto Himawari could translate to Neji Hyuga. Himawari comments that they've heard so many stories about the hero that she and her brother decided to refer to him as 'Uncle Neji'.

Once the group arrives to the leaf village, Himawari asks her brother if they were still going to do their usual tradition for whenever they return home from any kind of travel. Not wanting to disappoint her, Boruto agrees and suggests that she and Shikadai look for the wild kind while he sees of any place sells store-bought. Once the couple is out of sight, Boruto finally drops his smile, complaining about his face hurting. He goes on to explain the tradition of taking sunflowers to Neji's grave and telling him about the mission or travel.

The group takes a couple days to rest up before they decide to travel again. During that time at a training field, it is noticeable that Himawari and Shikadai are flirting with one another while they are some distance away from the group. When asked about it, Boruto casually informs that they have been dating for a little over a year with the interaction currently taking place being their first public display of affection. After all, those two dating would cause quite a commotion for reasons that couldn't explained at the moment.

At one point in the story, I wanted the group to be traveling again and once again attacked by possessed rogue ninjas. With this encounter, Boruto is cornered would have essentially lost his life if someone hadn't stepped in to save him. That 'someone' is none other than Hinata. Almost like she was given a boost in strength, she is able to defeat the enemy in only a handful of hits.

Although the battle is over with, Hinata glares at Naruto, asking, "Do I really look dead to you?"

Before Naruto could explain himself, Hinata adverts her attention to a quivering Himawari, demanding that she and her brother go wash 'that gunk' out of her hair. As the girl goes to do so, one of those that don't know disputes that she can't order the siblings around.

"Yes, I can," Hinata would argue. "They are my children!"

There would be a round of gasps, eyes-bugging out, jaws dropping, etc. at the revelation. When the siblings come back, Hinata would smile at her daughter and say, "Now, there's my sunflower."

And that's all I remember from what I planned for this story. I had no idea on how I was going to end this story and I still don't.

Hopefully, this appeases some of you or at least cures your boredom due to the virus.

Thank you for reading!
