Summer to Remember
Harry Potter/ Fay Dunbar
XXV
Sirius, Remus and Harry were let out of the holding cells at nine the next morning. After a long night, being kept company by the Three Aurors, and having found nothing worth charging the trio for they were let go.
Harry had, unfortunately, picked up a thing or two from Sirius. One of those things had been the ability to annoy everyone. Dawlish was present as the Trio were let out.
Dawlish and Higgins were just passing them when Harry was released. The bespectacled teen smirked toothily at the Aurors as Sirius waved at them as they left the Ministry. "Higgins, leave it be. Leave it be. If needed, we can pin something on them later."
No-one accosted them, as they crossed the foyer Sirius turned to Harry "You've got a few more weeks at Hogwarts. I'll drop you in Hogsmeade."
Harry sighed but nodded. Then as they left the wards of the Ministry, Harry felt as if he was being pulled through a tube they arrived in Hogsmeade.
Eventually, Harry made the long walk from Hogsmeade upto the castle where he was met by surprisingly a still breathing Snape. "Well shit."
Snape smirked "Well shit, indeed Mr. Potter."
"I was half expecting the Headmaster to have let you die; I honestly didn't think he'd lop your arm off."
Snape scowled "I had to do this…I know you had something to do with this."
Harry then made the point to shrug with both shoulders "Detention."
"No, Snape…I don't think I will. I'm in fact going to enjoy these last two weeks; you can give me detentions for days but I'm just not going to turn up. Why should I? You're no longer needed, you were vouched for by the Headmaster to keep you out of Azkaban Hotel."
With that Harry stepped around the Potions Master, pushed open the Great Hall doors and walked in.
